Very helpful technician today helped me with the in call speaker issue on my phone. He cleaned it and it is now working perfectly. He did not pressure me to purchase a new phone at this time but was willing to explain options for when I am ready to replace it. The young lady who greeted me at the door was polite and professional as well. Gold Star service today! Thank you.

Wife went there today to buy a new phone. Terribly rude staff person had no information and that if she wanted information to look it up for herself on the internet or Google it. End of discussion . It occurs to me that by hiring staff this unqualified and inept or rude, they do not want to have company stores. Verizon is no longer a customer oriented company. Time to move.

Staff were fairly quick to help out, not a long wait time. The first person I saw rushed through the whole process, didn’t have much time to even think about what was going on. And it turned out he didn’t do it right, so an hour later I was back in the store. Luckily the second person I saw was quick to diagnose the mistake and get it fixed.

Im not one to complain. If one were to check my Google feedback, they will find almost exclusively 5 star reviews. Why? Because I am very easy going and I understand the stresses if dealing with the public in the service industry. I understand having to tell customers what they dont want to hear, to disappoint them. However...In all of the years I have been dealing with various cell providers, I have never left the showroom so dissatisfied and angry at the lack of service as I did today.Some back story: We are a business account with around 18 lines. One of our employees destroyed his phone on the job today. As we really need to stay in constant contact, we were wanting to simply purchase a phone at the store. Purchase. Not a hand out, not a free upgrade, not a price match, not a wave of our account size in order to demand satisfaction. He broke it. We wanted to buy a replacement at whatever rate was quoted.I first tried calling the store and was routed through a CS tree to somewhere offsite. No big deal. The lady was very helpful, and once she realized that I wanted to purchase a phone outright from the store instead of shipping one, she was kind enough to make me an appointment for 1pm.I got in at my appointment time and was checked in promptly and helped by a rep named Tess. In full fairness, Tess was incredibly helpful and nice to work with. She was wonderful. However, somehow, some way, Verizon does not have me listed as an Admin. They have my sister (our bookkeeper, so that makes sense), my assistant (weird, but OK), our service manager (who has a desk phone and doesnt even carry a company cell), and some random ladys name who no one in the entire company has ever heard of. Not me. The person who authorized the account, set it up, and signed all the paperwork. In short, I was not allowed to buy the phone. I dont know who set this account up for me, but I certainly wasnt done in my best interests.So my sister goes in to the showroom (whom I tell them to expect promptly). She has unfortunately forgotten her ID at home. She does have 5 or 6 cards with her name on it in her wallet. No dice. No phone...despite Verizon only visually checking the ID and not scanning it, so its not like they COULDNT have done something. I dont see how this could have been construed as an elaborate rouse where I sent in a ringer who was not my sister to purchase a phone at full price, but OK. She was told she could change the settings on the Verizon portal back at our office so that I could come BACK in to buy the phone.She checks out the website and nothing they are showing on their tablets matches what we have. Im labeled an admin, no random name that has never worked here, etc. So I print out what it says on actual factual paper and bring it back in. No good. No phone. However, a rep I had not been dealing with did make sure to point out that I, the person who authorized and decided to do business with Verizon, and signed all the paperwork, must have locked myself out. I suppose I cant be trusted and am my own worst enemy.At no point was there any attempt to ask to contact a rep that could help or do much of anything short of pointing at a tablet to show me that I would not be allowed to buy a phone.So it seems according to the all magical infallible tablet that all I am allowed to do is determine if we have an account with Verizon. After today, I can tell you that I am very strongly looking at NOT continuing to do business there, and that would be something I would be very aware that I did to myself.Tess earns this place an extra star. Very poor experience. We went in asking about new phones and transferring service. A woman told us to call a number and that they could help us over the phone. She did not know how long it would take or if they were open to customer service calls today. When we asked to be shown phones, she said we should call the number first and did not help us with any options nor even try to pull up the account to help us. There were at least 5 employees in store and no other customers. We definitely felt like we were being rushed out the door and that our business was not important. We may be taking our family plan elsewhere after the extremely poor customer service we received.

Do not go here they lie and scam you we asked for unlimited and they never gave us unlimited and they charged us so many hidden fees we were paying $230 for 2 phones when we were only supposed to be paying $160 two years and alot of money wasted!!! They are only sometimes nice and never helpful when I asked why I was always being charged wrong.

Very kind and helpful! We will be in tomorrow afternoon to switch from T-Mobile/Sprint!We either by one get one free in iPhone 12’s and only increase our bill by $30 and this unctuous senior discount too! Sprint never offered us a senior discount that we should of been getting for over 19 years now! It was not in the website or anywhere in our bill! They answer to this was just a simple sorry! We can’t get good service without upgrading phones and there is no special offers! This would result in increased bill of over $70 making our bill nearly $200 more even with senior discount!With the Verizon offer we will star the same on out bill as now with T-Mobile with 2 new phones and unlimited everything!We will see you tomorrow just after noon and are hoping a great customer relationship and experience Ofer the best few years!!!Cynthiana

Although I was wearing a mask, I was treated like trash at the Green River location and met out on the sidewalk. The worker gave me instructions (cross my fingers I would remember) and a number to call for help. When I misplaced the number and tried calling the store it directs me to download the app or use the website. So they don’t let people in the store or answer the phone. Great work guys! If I could contact a manager to complain I would but I don’t think that’s allowed either!

FEES, MISOGYNIST STAFF & TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE - after 21 years of being a loyal Verizon customer, I am furious at the way my daughter was treated and what she was charged for a new phone. The salesman wouldnt answer her questions or set up her new phone and charged her a $40 activation fee. After calling Verizon customer service, they told me that if we bought a phone at Apple or Best Buy, they would not charge us $40. So we got RUDE SERVICE, NO ACTIVATION, and a $40 BOGUS CHARGE.

LAZY AND RUDE!!!I know it’s in the middle of COVID-19 but the store staff for two days in a row has been extremely unhelpful. I feel like they are taking advantage of the situation and not doing any work. The only thing they have done for the last two days is Hand me pieces of paper with 800 numbers to call customer service or ways to download an app to take care of my own business. They do not want to help me in anyway. LAZY!!! RUDE!!!PS. I am writing this review in my car in the parking lot while being boys are standing there laughing and joking with their hands in their pockets.

We only go to this Verizon store because of the service we have gotten at other Verizon stores has been terrible. The last time we went Brent helped us out with a problem we were having and sold us a wireless charger for our phones. He is AWESOME! I will ask for him every time I go there now! I dont know the young mans name who waited on us because he didnt introduce himself. If I could give no stars for my experience I would. I clearly told him we needed a new phone and he saidI could stand here and quote a bunch of numbers but what would that tell you. I suggest you go on line He was unkept, had no name tag and obviously just wanted to get rid of us. He had no tablet so there was no way for him to access any information. Im not sure what purpose he even served to be out there. I visited the same location 3 days ago with my daughter and we were taken care of in 15 minutes with a replacement phone. Absolutely useless visit today from a lazy employee who just wanted 500 oclock to get here. I would switch to att if we didnt have a business account with Verizon.

Great at sales but no help at all with setting up your new phone. Last time I bought a phone they transfered all my contacts and pictures to the new phone, yesterday I had to pay $15.00 a month to have access to tech help. I was on the phone for at least an hour and still dont have my new phone working like it should. Face to face customer service is non existent unless its about getting the sale. Ive been a long time customer of Verizon and very disappointed they would not help me when I was in the store.

It is truly a pleasure to interact with the staff at this Verizon store. We were greeted by a beautiful and very pleasant young lady. My wife and I have been experiencing some very aggravating interruptions on our cell phones, apparently being caused by some sort of virus. My wife and I are in our seventies and find dealing with such issues very exasperating. This young lady very calmly and patiently dealt with our problems and had them completely solved before we left the store. Oh my what a pleasure it was to deal with our phone problems with this young lady.

After reading previous reviews, I was very apprehensive to go into the Verizon Wireless establishment. I switched from AT&T to Verizon (due to personal reasons) and the customer service was outstanding. The Verizon associate who helped me switched services was very helpful, resourceful, and patient with all of my wants/needs for phone services. The associate was very honest and help find alternative/affordable money phone plans.

I was ordering phones online and store pickup. Sales reps obviously fo not make commission on those type of transaction and make current customers feel like they are bothering them. The man who waited on us has absolutely no business working with the public. Called Verizon main number, and made a complaint against him and the store. Will never return to that location again. We had a few questions about the plan that we have and wanted to see what the new plans looked like . Weve been with Verizon for well over ten years and really like the service over the years . Although this is a retail store and they look to make sales when you walk in, we were made to feel like a valued customer and not rushed out . Our questions about the plans and phones were thourghly explained with some excellent suggestions on how to get the most out of the service we have or will get, also the phones we have or will get . I just wanted to sing a praise to Nick for the time and effort he put in to our visit and helping us get a better understanding of what were looking for in the service plan and the phones were going to be using in the future . The sales rep at the Green River Road location named Scott was rude and dismissive. He cost the company a customer, which in the grand scheme doesnt matter much to Scott, but I bet Verizon does care. This review is mostly to warn people to avoid SCOTT. Wait for another sales representative. Overall Verizon service has been good, albeit at a price. I would definitely suggest going to Best Buy for existing customers looking for deals on upgrading. After basically telling us that there were no offers to be had from Scott, we went to Best Buy and got new phones and saved $500. Thanks Scott, because you were rude we went someplace else and saved.

Rude and not helpful at all!We purchase 4 new phones online and picked them up at this location. We needed assistance transferring to our new phones and was told they could not help us with that. We just needed to download content transfer and that would take care of it. Although Brian was quick to sell screen protectors and insisted on purchasing cases before we left the store. They are quick to sell products but not to help with those products.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had. We added a line, purchased a phone, and upgraded to unlimited plan. The phone had to be ordered. The phone arrived but wouldn’t activate. So after spending 4 hours on the phone with Verizon I found out the number we requested and thought we were getting wasn’t locked into our phone at the store, a line was never added and our plan was never changed to unlimited. Not a very happy customer.

I have been going to the Store on North GreenRiver. They are so nice and helpful. They get the job done in a fraction of the time that a closer store did. There is always plenty of help at the GreenRiver store. You dont have to wait for 45 minutes for the next available associate. From now on they get my business.

Horrible customer service with minimal technical capability. I was told that they could not help me with my problems but if I called tech support they would help me. Unfortunately they were correct. I called the 1.800 service line the over the phone they were more helpful than the staff at this facility. I will not return to this store and will seriously consider changing carriers.

Does every Verizon store have to be a big, dirty rip-off? Really? Cant someone sell something honestly? Try telling people about the $40 activation fee up front? And the 2 year trap contract? We went in to pick up a device we ordered and got sucked into the great deal $50 tablet. Which really costs over $90 if you consider the activation fee, which is ridiculous by the way. Found out later about the activation fee and that we were stuck in a contract with it. So, turned out not so great of a deal after all. Not to mention the ridiculously overpriced screen protectors, cases and chargers.

The absolute WORST customer service Ive ever received. Does NOT abide by the Corporate Store rules, and when I called corporate in front of the rep, I was told They cant make us do anything. On TOP of that, they tried to tell me that I would not get my military discount if I did not allow them to copy my military ID! Sheesh! Not helpful at all. I ordered a new Google Pixel 2 and opted for the in-store pick up. I arrived at the store and was immediately checked in but was not asked what I needed. I waited approximately 15 minutes until a salesperson asked how they could help,so not a bad wait time. I explained I was there to pick up my phone and he got my info and went to get my phone. Heres the bad part, I asked for assistance activating my new $650 phone and was told I could do it at home. Really!? Just poor customer service.

I went in today after discovering Wireless Zone in Newburgh had no intention of making good on the insurance policy I purchased through them when I bought my phone originally. The associate I dealt with at the actual Verizon store in Evansville was very kind and took the time to hear me out, look my phone over and was able to add equipment protection to my plan. He didnt try to jack me around or talk me in to something I wasnt ready for - in fact he talked me out of spending money on a trade up when I only have a few months left before Im eligible to upgrade. Yes it may be a busy store, but I had a great experience and plan to do all my Verizon related business at that location from now on.
