Great place to shop. They have a wide variety of alot of different things. I went there looking for sand, the kind you use for a sand box. We never really did find what we were looking for, we did ask, they told us were it should be, but we could not find it. No one else asked us if we needed any help, so we ended up not getting it and going to home depot instead.

For someone that deals with anxiety and stress blake the manager in delivery is a true blessing 💯started a project myself extremely poor planning on my behalf Blake went above and beyond to help me through the project and also took care of my windows like they was his own been shopping there forever they legit know how to hire good employees .

Nice place to shop for almost anything home related. The store is well laid out, but due to the wide selection of items, it can take some time to find what you need. Prices were reasonable and checkout was quick.

Great. Very well stocked. Had the railings we needed in stock. We actually bought all but two . Had a nice young man help us with our deck railing purchase. He was very careful in getting it down from shelf and putting it on the cart. He even offered to help us load it in our truck.

Had a Store Credit of about $225.00 used it to partially pay for a purchase of $460.00. When I needed to return some of the unused shelving parts totaling $82.00, they refused to refund the $82.00 to my debit card (how I paid the $235.00 above the credit) and would only give me this in another store credit. There is NO PLACE on their store credit or in their store that states this policy, otherwise I could have stopped when my $460.00 purchase reached the amount of the store credit and then made a separate purchase for the balance of my items so that I did not have to take another one of their store credits that you forget to use, cant use to order online etc. I did go into the store and purchased some hooks for the shelving to try to use up this credit, but again I may not need all the hooks that I purchased and so this credit process is still ongoing. I am the store accountant for a retail furniture store and if a customer pays with a store credit, we usually dont refund a store credit either (yet we have at times), but we DO refund anything above the store credit. According to the Manager I spoke with this is store policy and they cant do anything about it. Both the cashier and manager were both rude, when I question them about this issue, as I feel they screwed me with this policy. So buyers beware if you may need to return an item.!!!!!

I already loved Menards, but when checking out today I was talking about an old timey candy with my sis that reminded of my grandmother but I havent been able to find them anywhere and KATHY the cashier knew exactly what I was talking about and even better KATHY said we have those here. 😭 KATHY you deserve a raise. Best home improvement store in Evansville!

Needs better pickup order expediting and better pickup records. The whole pickup system needs an overhaul. I wasted 45 minutes at door 14 pickup just to find out the order I was assigned to pickup was given, not only to another delivery driver but also to a completely different delivery service. Come on guys, my time spent there is literally money out of my pocket if theres no delivery to pick up. Averaging about $35 to $40 per hour for my runs, I feel like you cost me at least $26 up to $30 for yesterdays fiasco.

I love this place. I buy bottled water and other snacks there. I like the convenience of being able to shop for building products as well as food products under the same roof.

Every department had employees that were very attentive and helpful.

Got the help I needed, great prices, you should chop there for Christmas they have a fireplace that is amazing thats a heater and an electric fireplace and its a lot of settings on it beautiful Christmas gift. Lots of new age lights!!!

It’s a fine place to get lumber, but you will have to deal with a lot of inferior wood. Plus (and this only applies to guys in the lumber area) I’m over the misogyny. I’m not picking up stuff for my husband or to complete a Pinterest project. I run a business and have customers to answer to, so I have to have the best lumber I can find. If you’re going to pick junk don’t be offended if I tell you that I’m going to load it myself.

Good customer service inside the store with helping me get the wood that I needed....but getting assistance outside in the barnyard for pickup is a different story ..workers never want to assist customers or you gotta chase someone down!!!

Indiana no longer has a required mask mandate. But yet Menards will kick you out if you dont have a mask. Regardless if you can physically wear one or not. They do not care about HIPAA laws and will demand you to show them proof that you cannot wear a mask regardless they will still kick you out. They are not kind about confronting you on a mask either. They will immediately get an attitude with you, and hound you and follow you like youre a criminal. I would not recommend shopping here, I will take my personal business elsewhere.

We were in the store Saturday, April 10th. I know the mayor has left masks up to the businesses as there is no mandate any longer. There are still signs on stores from being there all along but some arent enforcing, some are having employees wear them, some arent and some are leaving it up to the individual.My husband and I walked into Menards in Evansville without our masks on. Picked up our items, with no fuss from any other employees mind you and we even had one help us, and were headed to the checkout when this little girl, an employee, came running up to us and demanded that we needed to put on our masks. We informed her we were leaving as we tried utilizing 6 foot distance with her. She said ok then proceeded to follow us spouting off, rudely, as we walked up to the checkout, shes not going to check you out unless you put your masks on!, then walked up to the cashier and whispered to her. The cashier then proceeds to throw my items around! We will not be back to this store. There is absolutely no need to be rude.If people are still that worried, wear your mask and stay 6 feet away, dont come rushing up to me like youre the police and Ive done something wrong.

Found all of what I needed. Other than being low on cat food options the place was well stocked and staff was helpful. And, as always, very clean facility.

With being Christmas Eve everyone was very nice and helpful. Then while waiting to check out we watched and listen to the cashier. Talk with and wish a Merry Christmas. Then towards my husband and myself she was very rude let our items get bunched up. The bags run out my husband told her she rolled her eyes and then turned her head away. She didnt she thank you after we paid. While she rushed on to the next person and let their items run into ours. Because we had to find bags and grap items she let the belt run into. Thats the time that happened. I did say something to customer service. Only because she was kind to the people before and rude to us. We do not know her nor we were rude towards her.

Workers were very helpful when I needed answers to my questions, only thing that took me by surprise was the lack of help loading my trailer with my lumber and drywall in their warehouse. Could be due to a new covid policy or the fact that it was late evening when I did my pickup. (8 pm) Overall good experience.

I have had two run ins with very rude staff concerning their mask policy! Despite the fact some of the public cannot wear a mask due to medical reasons the menards staff will not allow you to shop . They treat these shoppers like they are lepers, the very same people trying to spend their hard earned money in their store . Management will not be open minded about someone elses disability, frankly the lack of concern on their part is sickening. I will not shop at menards they are not worth my time or money 👎

We were looking for a few different items in the store and ran across a sales associate back in cabinets and took the time out to show us around the store where everything was she was a real sweetheart. I believe her name was emili.

I really like shopping at the Evansville Menards. Great deals and excellent inventory!Management could do a better job keeping the outside entrance cleaner. Always trash laying around when I walk up.My suggestion is to take care of it first thing every morning either by management or an assigned employee.Besides that it appears to be an excellent operation!Lawrence

Excellent and Better alternative to the big two. Plus all during covid they gave 11% rebate. I’ve received hundreds back already. Plus they we first to require mask inside store. Smart and Caring. So why shop any other hardware store. Great selection and price. I’ve put in a new deck, sink, faucet, toilet, closet shelves, and painted. Nice they have some grocery items too make it a one stop.

Menards mask policy has and will continue to lose them business. If my money isnt any good without the mask it will still be no good when you finally drop the ridiculous policy. Lowes sends their appreciation for your continued support.

Everytime I go the store is clean and 95% percent of the time always have what I need in stock. Also they have clearance racks at almost every aisle end. Go frequent because is always changes!

Went to Menards today to get some rough cedar lumber and they had a good selection that the other lumber stores dont have. Everything is well organized and clean. It is my favorite store.

I have MS and require the use of electric cart. It was fine until I was in the back of store. Lost power and had to use my cane to hobble back to the front.No problem with store. I needed items asap, didnt have the.time to wait for online purchase.

I drove a long way to try and get what I needed.I had called first & the staff thought they had one left. Upon my arrival however, we found it to be the same thing I had purchased the night before.The person that was waiting on me took several minutes to check the inventory very well & also to see if there was something else that would work instead.They were able to find something that would work & the manager even came over to add assistance.I drove a long way to get what I needed & because of the outstanding help of the staff, I was able to get what I needed, that would help me finish my project.Good job! 👍👍

Weve been looking for shower doors for a while now and comparing a number of stores in Jasper and Evansville, In.What made the sale for us was the customer service at Menards Evansville.Absolutely the best and most courteous staff around!Julie was the associate helping me and boy was she good at her job! Very knowledgeable and professional.There were others who helped with getting the shower doors from the high shelves with a hibay and were very nice and helpful.So in closing, I drove 1 hour to Menards, Evansville and it was well worth the trip and I will always continue to shop at this store.Keep up the great customer service!!

I was looking for kids binoculars and asked an employee for help. He explained they were upstairs and actually went up to help me find them. This is the kind of service I remember receiving from the mom and pop hardware store. I also really like the lumber pick-up process of driving my truck to the lumber, instead of like the other guys loading on a cart in my truck, its great to save that extra step. They even have #1 grade lumber that I cant seem to find at the other guys. Great store, and service.

I have an extortion idea for you. Buy tons of face mask, realize no one is buying them at the stores. Make a temporary rule that face mask are required in the store, claim its to protect employees, sell those face mask. If you really care about your employees just close the store down instead of piling hundreds of people inside the store with or without face mask. Headed to Home Depot for great prices and common sense.

This place has everything! But my wife had trouble getting assistance in several areas until I showed up.

I had an issue that I had politely asked to be taken care of several times. Before I got off the phone with the office manager, she said the store manager would have to handle this. I asked that before I received another phone call from this store, that the matter be taken care of. After 8 phone calls, which at this point was very upsetting to me that I had to deal with this, this much. I was having a good day until the manager started talking back to me and interrupting me, & refused to let me speak...I am sad to say that the management team at this store has treated me horribly. Actually one of the managers just hung up the phone on me. He would not let me finish my conversation with him, he would not let me speak to him about a matter that was supposed to be handled in August and I have made continuous phone calls to this store and again they have agreed to take care of the matter. But continuously it is not getting taking care of, this store has hold horrible customer service and it has ruined my experience at menards as a whole. I will never step into any menards in the ever again.

They are requiring everyone to wear a mask in the store. As with other store they have all gotten so cocky now they think they can tell you what to wear and where you can go. I just wonder if they ran it by a legal team first. Sounds to me like if they make you have one they should be provided to you free of charge not charge you for them.

Really like this place, if you can find a employee to help find the item you are looking for it not so easy. Prices are fair, but wish they would just mark down all the items and get rid of the 11% off, I personally dont like messing with rebates, and its always a store credit, I prefer cash back.

It is a safe place to shop during this pandemic. Masks are needed, sanitizing by the registers, and the carts are sprayed. I feel safer shopping there than other places in town.

Mask OVERKILL. Followed me and my husband around the store barking at us about masks. Covid has a 99.6% survival rate. You’re charging for masks up front making money from them. Will NOT be back - so extremely rude. TIM was AWFUL.

We were out in the lumber yard picking up a load of landscape edging for our new build and came inside for a second. We were rudely told that we were required to wear masks if we came inside the building while employees were walking around without masks. When we pointed it out they said he was working out in the yard when he clearly was inside. Again, we were out in the garden area (outside) and were looking at the trees and an employee asked us to put masks on in the 100 degree weather outside with no one else around us. I cant believe this
