I may not know much about wedding gowns, but I do know enough about customer service to know that the Evansville Bridal Warehouse does not train their employees well. Im aware that this is not like a regular bridal shop, but when were told we are going to have a consultant its expected to be helped a little bit. the bride and her guests had to find all the dresses as well as clip, accessorize, and re-bag the dresses. All while we spotted our consultant in the back room eating, reading, socializing, and basically doing everything but helping the bride. If you want good customer service and to be treated special on a special day I would advise to steer clear of the Evansville Bridal Warehouse.
If I could give 0 stars I would. In January, I went with my sister to the one in Louisville. My sister was getting her wedding dress and I was to try on a bridesmaid dress along with her other 2 bridesmaids. First off, when my sister explained she had been married before, the consultant said since she was married before, she wouldnt need a white dress. My sis still went through with it though and bought her dress. I was measured for my dress (said i was a 26 even though im a 16). The two bridesmaids paid for their dresses and I was going to pay for and order mine from the Evansville store since I live in the area. I went in in March and said I needed to order my dress. I was telling the associate that I had been measured in Louisville but wasnt sure if they were right. They measured me again and this time, they said I was a 22. They even were mystified that Louisville store made a big size mistake. I ordered the 22. Well fast forward to late July when the dress finally came in, a month late, and it doesnt fit! They insist now that I measured a 26 and that company policy says they cant tell you what size to get so Im responsible for paying for alterations even though the Evansville store people measured wrong. Couldnt get a refund couldnt reorder, and now Im out $80 in alterations on a $250 dress that I will never wear again. Argued with them repeatedly but they keep going on about company policy. The other bridesmaids dresses were 2 months late too but no call to let anyone know they would be late. All around terrible experience and dont recommend!
I went to USA Bridal in September and absolutely loved it. My consultant was Clover and she was extremely helpful the entire time I was there, so I decided thats where we would get the bridesmaid dresses. I scheduled our appointment and everything was fine. When wever went in, the lady told us our consultant would be Madison and that we could start looking for dresses. Fast forward 20 minutes, we still hadnt seen her and were standing there with arms full of dresses ready to try on. We finally find her and she takes us back to two dressing rooms and then walks off, pretty much without saying a word. It seemed like she had absolutely no clue what she was doing. She seemed mad the whole time. When I asked questions she either didnt hear, or ignored me. My bridesmaids were frustrated and so was I because I went on about how good they were there. When we left we realized she didnt specify which color so we had to go back and tell her the colors, and then when we finally left and had been gone for a while I got a phone call to verify things that we had already told her. It just seemed like she didnt pay any attention at all. I know people have off days, but the experience was definitely not as good as my first one and it has definitely changed my mind. Its just seemed like everyone was snobby this time, which makes everything far more stressful in an already stressful situation.
Went in November to order my dress. Our representative did not show up for work so we were stuck picking out the dresses, unbagging, and bagging them. Was told we had to rush deliver my dress which cost extra for it to be here the first or March since my wedding is in April. Here it is almost April and my dress still isnt here. Any time we call and ask about it the story changes and the delivery date changes.
Alexa the store manager was he most helpful and friendly person to help. She wasnt trying to sell or shove anything in our face other than simply helping. 10 out of 10 will go back.
The representative we had was not helpful. She disappeared to eat and we had to unbag the dresses and rehang them ourselves. She came back much later and helped us with the last handful of dresses. There was also a large puddle of soda on the floor that people walked through and made big sticky trails all over the dressing room. Would not recommend this place.
The pants kept loosening up even after tightening them several times. It all worked out though. Descent quality material.
Very unhelpful, our associate Madison (which she didnt even tell us her name. That is the name that was on top of the room we were in)We had to pull all of the dresses we wanted to see, she did not ask what kind of dress my friend wanted, what her style was, didnt help her get in and out of the dresses, or hang them up,absolutely nothing!!!! There was only a few benches to sit on while we waited and that is where there was a puddle of something sticky spelt that was tracked all over the floor.
The workers at Bridal Warehouse are great when they are taking your order, but beware when you want your tuxedo. The worker we got on the phone was rude and then they where rude when we tried to pick-up. They told us they would deliver on Thursday, the call did not come through to us till 30 minutes before the store closed. Leaving us very little time to pick-up and make sure the order was right. One of the grooms mans tuxedo had bleach stains on it. The father of the bride was told by one of the workers that it was prom weekend and that overuled the wedding party getting thier tuxedos on time. We were warned before we rented from them but gave them another chance, dont make the same mistake we did.
