Came here from owensboro. They did have the part that no one else had in stock. The woman that intially helped me was very nice and helpful. But when I asked if they would trade out a bellow for me, which I did not buy at eastside, the next woman that helped was rude. I will be keeping my business in owensboro from here on out.

Service Dept does poor quality of work

Very nice selection. Lots of new boats to look at in the show room. Plenty of storage for boats. Conveniently located and they sponsor alot of boating events. But their biggest problem is they are not friendly. Been in multiple times and they are just down right rude. They also changed the sticker price on an item once that I bought from there making it more expensive at check out.

Great company with very helpful staff. Ive done business with ESM on multiple boats that I have purchased from them and other sources. They have been an extremely helpful resource for parts and accessories. They have an extensive library of documents to locate components that were not available through the web. Would recommend East Side Marine to anyone interested in getting into boating. Prices are competitive with internet retailers. A+

I took my boat to get a fuel pump fixed and a few small other things. 2200 dollars later and I get my boat back and it has the same problem. I took it back to the shop and I had to argue with them over the broken fuel pump to get it replaced. They said they wouldnt warranty it until there rep looked at it. So the second time I got my boat back the fuel pump is still not working. This is twice now east side marine has put a broken fuel pump in my boat. 2200 dollars later and my boats still not fixed. Im very upset with east side marine and Ill be taking my boat back up there Monday 6-15-19) If they do not want to fix it for me I will be having to get legal help and go talk to a lawyer. I never imagined east side marine would beat me out of 2200 dollars.

Great service and family owned.

Dropped our boat off September 2019 for them to replace the engine over the winter. They put our repairs on hold (didn’t notify us) or forgot about it, and it is now July 2020, and our boat is still not fixed. Working with the service department and hoping to get the boat fixed ASAP.

Called to ask about a boat thats listed for sale on their website. Was told boat was there on consignment. Asked about the overall condition and was told its really good. I started describing some problems with a boat that I had looked at yesterday and the salesman starts saying yeah this one has that too. What happened to its really good two minutes earlier? From that point on, the answer to everything question was, I dont know, its here on consignment. Asked about the new motor, I dont know, its here on consignment. Asked about taking it on a test run, I dont know, its here on consignment. No offer to call the owner and find out, no help at all. Im not going to drive 2 hours to look at something if they arent willing to help a little. I guess the owner of the boat and the salesman missed out on some money because I have cash in hand and am ready to buy today. Guess Ill be going elsewhere.

Sales staff is very knowledgeable, Chief mechanic is retired Navy and understands large cruiser systems with expert knowledge. (Just look for the tallest guy in the shop). 2nd tallest is the Salesman. Only con, keep a close eye on the service adviser, he may pad the bill if you arent specific in your repair requests.
