I went to Romain for a new car and knew that I wanted something that is safe for my family and built to last. Courtney showed me the Forester and the Ascent and talked with me about my lifestyle and family needs when it comes to transportation. She was very kind and knowledgeable, and she spent time talking with me about the features of both cars and how each might adapt to my needs. I test drove the Ascent that day and went right back to her office and we built the vehicle online exactly as I wanted it. She pulled pricing for me and was able to offer what I asked for my trade-in, and the pricing discussion was very easy. I felt no pressure one way or another. I cannot say enough good things about Courtney Adams, my sales rep. She was exceptionally friendly and willing to work with me to see I found the deal I wanted. I had previously worked with another salesman at Romain who didnt really seem like he wanted to work with me. It seemed he was only interested in making a sale. Courtney was very different. She was awesome. She was more interested in helping me get the deal I wanted rather than making a sale for herself. Courtney was not happy until I was happy. I got the exact Outback Limited I wanted at the price I was willing to pay. She even helped to negotiate a better price for my trade so I could be happy with the deal. The Outback is great, Courtney was exceptional and I would recommend Romain Subaru to my family and friends.

Called to arrange a salesperson to show us some cars I reviewed on the internet. Having no transportation to the dealership, the salesman came to the house to pick us up (about a 4 mile one-way trip. Mason, the salesman, was very patient. Lots of explanation, no push to buy. Found what we wanted; bought the car. We were driven back home and the car prepped and delivered the next day to our home. Overall pretty impressive. Mason was honest and straight forward -- very professional.

About ten days ago I was at Romain with my husband to testdrive a Subaru. Courtney had a Forester and a Crosstrrack ready for me to try. She did an extraordinary job, taking her time, explaining in detail special features of both cars before and after I drove each car around the lot. I chose the Forester, and we went into Courtneys office and she efficiently completed the preliminary paperwork with us which then Brian reviewed, printed and had us sign. Two days later when I picked up my Forester Courtney again sat in the car with me and explained every button, dial, and icon and its function. Unbelievably friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff that always respects my time when Im buying a new car. You will not get hung up on the Subaru lot for hours and hours. The same goes for the service department.

10/10! I had been wanting a new car for awhile (the ole beetle was no longer very safe or nice to me) but was just intimidated by the whole process. One day I had time to kill so I figured Id go look around the lot and maybe test drive an Outback because I felt like thats what I wanted. Dann greeted me and ended up helping me and was a wonderful human. I test drove the car and within 48 hours I had purchased it. You can buy a car from anywhere, but the sales rep makes the difference. I dealt with Malcolm Cook, and I recommend asking for him. A low pressure buying process that was centered around my wants rather than constant attempts at upselling.

I rarely leave reviews, but this dealer well deserves it. The service department provided excellent customer service and went above and beyond when our 04 Legacy blew a transmission oil cooling hose in the middle of our trip from Oregon to Georgia to visit my family which I had not seen in 4 years. They are not adequately dealing with or addressing my 2012 Subaru Foresters oil consumption issue. This has become a progressively worse issue than when it was noticed to have started years ago. The, kick the can down the road mentality will not get me to buy another Subaru.

I bought my Forester from Doug Goth and it was easiest car purchase that I have had. I told him the 3 vehicles I was looking at and wanted to test drive. Doug got the vehicles ready for me then I decided on the model I wanted. They did not have the color I wanted so the found me the one I wanted. He had it ready for me when I went to pick it up. The paper work and financing went smooth and fast Doug and crew was amazing and very professional best car buying experience I have had no pressure. I would recommend Doug and Romain Subaru for your next vehicle purchase.

I called several times a day over the course of three days to make a service appointment. Finally got through on the fourth day. My car was returned unfinished after being at the dealership two weeks. Service manager would not return calls requesting updates.There seems to be honest mechanics working in the service department but the management/communication side of things is seriously troubled. I’ve tried to reach out to general manager about my concerns but no communications have been returned.

My wife and I visited the lot recently. We experienced high pressure sales tactics and demeaning language from the sales person. He didn’t listen to us and just wanted to ‘put us in a car today’. The next day we drove two hours north to Bloomington to buy our new Forester.$2500 cheaper for the same options and a much nicer sales experience.Don’t waste your time at this dealership. Take the time to go to Bloomington Subaru. It is so worth it!

Although we purchased our two Subaru vehicles out of state. We have taken them to Subaru Romain for service. I have been impressed by their service staff. I can see a culture of caring. The profile of the Romain staff is very different from what I see at another brand dealership in Evansville. At Romain I feel welcome, and have left satisfied with the work done on our two vehicles. Plus is doesnt hurt that they always clean your car after service, have diet coke, good coffee and chocolate chip cookies in their waiting area. I recommend Romain very highly.

Austin Venturi was very helpful and extremely considerate and polite. I recommend him highly. However I was told the timing belt was good when thete was no way that it was checked, out of caution I had it replaced and the old one was the original belt 144,000 miles 15 years old. I got lucky. Good experience otherwise but do not trust them when they say things are checked. I doubt I will be back there to do business

Most honest dealer I have ever worked with. The deal I wanted did not work because of his honesty about the problem with the vehicle. He went out of his way. I sent my wife back for the car she was looking for. I will be waiting for him to find the one I want. I will not go anywhere else even though I have seen what I want at other dealerships!

Spoke with Chris at the parts department here and I just want to say this man needs a raise with how excellent he does his job. He was extremely helpful by answering all my questions that I had and was the kindest throughout the whole conversation. Any time anyone goes here ask for Chris and you won’t be disappointed!👍🏽

Love my Subaru. Hate the Romain Subaru maintenance department. After making an appointment they called and rescheduled saying their online booking over booked the appointments...ok, no problem lets reschedule over the phone done! not so fast. The day before the re-scheduled appointment they called back again to reschedule with the same line that the online booking had over booked...except I had made the appointment over the phone with a person. I called BS and they reluctantly accepted the appointment. Fast forward to the service, the passenger side airbag indicator was having issues, they couldnt track down the problem so the solution was to replace the air bag. They told us they would call us back when they had the parts. 2 weeks later no word...Get your act together Romain Subaru!

I bought a used car from there at the end of April, six months later the car started having major problems, mechanic recommends engine replacement. Very disappointed to say the least.
