I use Lucas Oil for my oil changes and I am a member of the car wash! Ive never had a bad experience! Today while going through the car wash Curt did a phenomenal job! You can really tell that he loves what he does and takes pride in his job!

Great relaxing atmosphere. Free wifi while you wait. Pricing seemed reasonable when compared to other Express Lubes. Service technicians recommend additional services (they are doing their job), but arent pushy when an objection is made. In and out pretty quick. I will return with my other vehicle and recommend to other people for future needs.

Kind of takes you back to the old school service centers. They remembered the car even though I wasnt the one who previously took it in for service. Very nice people. And I like every guy I think got the car serviced and brought it home and checked it over what they did. And no complaints. Thank you for a job well done.

Friendly helpful service.Time and time again when I bring my vehicles here for oil changes, this place is always clean, the staff is always friendly and I am always satisfied.The lobby area is a huge Plus when having to wait for an oil change. Sitting down with a cup of coffee and watching television makes the time go by much faster and comfortably then your average oil change waiting room that smells like a mechanic shop.

They do good work here and offer more services than the typical 10 or 15 min oil change places. They are friendly and competent. It is a little pricey by comparison and the wait times can get long. The last two trips I made were each almost an hour.

They furnish drying towels/rags, free vacuum and air. They also offer unlimited car washes (3 package choice)for a low automatic monthly withdrawal from your bank or credit card which Im a quick wash member and dont have to wait in line.

We love how clean they get our vehicles! They have free vacuums AND a vacuum on each side of the vehicle, so that you dont have to stretch to the other side, or even better if you have an extra person with you so they can vacuum one side as you do the other!

I went for an oil change for the first time in a covid year. Because I was so tardy I thought Id go for the expensive oil. When they got to my car the technician came to me and suggested (for a good reason I dont quite remember) that Id be better with the less expensive deal. Who does that? Maybe they made less that day but more in the long run because they created a loyal customer.

Love the waiting area. Cameras set up to view the outside and the pit. You can see when your car is pulled in and them working on it. I was never a fan of these quick change places but my mechanic recommended them for a coolant flush. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Explained what they did and found. I will be going back.

I have the unlimited washes here and love it! Pretty much get my car washed when I drive by and have time. I also get my Subaru serviced here. The service here is great and the product is superior in my opinion. When you are waiting on your car you can enjoy the massage chair as well! They also have a snack bar with a large selection of goodies for purchase.

Great place, attentive staff. I always bring my car here for a car wash. Plus afterward i use their rags and vacuums to do additional cleaning. Im knocking off a star because they are very inconsistent in the way they pressure wash my rims prior to the automatic wash. Sometimes they do a great job, other times its a half job, which makes the wheels look worse. Therefore I always have to reserve enough time to manually clean them afterwards.

They didnt tighten my drain plug. Oil was leaking on my garage floor. My oil was a 1/2 quart low. I thought my Oil pan gasket was bad. I took my car to a auto repair shop and they told me my drain plug was so loose it might have come off. I will never go back there.

I have always trusted Lucas Oil. They have a very clean body shop with an intelligent system of keeping track of your cars. They are very thorough and will honestly give you feedback on your service.

This location isnt what it use to be. Ive been coming here for years with a wide range of vehicles (Buick Lacrosse, Jeep, 300, Ford F150, and a Ford Fusion) Last 2 visits in 3 months there has been some issue and a couple of the middle-aged mechanics wanted to get super lippy for no reason. Not all the workers r bad but after the last 2 experiences its not worth the trouble. The young lady working the desk was super nice tho! I use to take all 3 of my personal vehicles here. Id recommend pepboys just off the Lloyd instead. I take my work vehicle there. Much more convenient**Also had a buddy take his car here within the last few months and they didnt even change the oil or filter. Headquarters ended up sending him a check for over $200 for all of the problems he had with this location.

Always fast and amazingly friendly service for oil changes. Today big props to the car wash people, they scrubbed and powerwashed my dirty minivan with TLC. And it was cold outside. 👏👏👏👏

#Review update# - original review below. I eventually was able to talk to the owner who assured me we could review the video after not getting too far with the manager on that. Within a week (since I am three hours away), my parents met up with the owner there and they said he was very nice and did a play by play for the video. It was sent to me as well after that. Also, a family member who is an FAA certified mechanic said they were impressed with it and did not see anything that stood out. I just wish I had an answer sooner. Apparently the roads here in Indy are that bad and I have been talking to people more about cars naturally more lately, and all kinds of freakish out of the ordinary stuff has been happening to everyones cars traced back to the cars just getting bumped around more. I think it is weird that the thing popped off the time it did (within a day after the service) and the Hyundai dealer tech said he had never seen that before. My final thought is they will probably see it more. All in all I guess it is not standard in Evansville to check for weak/missing clamps from road roughness because there and Indy are two different stories. But it could be a good thought for LO to maybe consider adding an extra checkpoint options especially for cars from rougher road/climate areas. I cannot check my own car underside due to stupid rules in my HOA/neighborhood without it turning into nosey neighbor drama, so I am sort of highly dependent on others watching out for me on the underside of the car and an understandable source of my frustration that speaks more to systematic loopholes than any shortcoming at Lucas Oil Evansville. I am glad the owner took the time to get down to the bottom of things and reassure us they did they best they could with the service I purchased.#Original review#This is a preliminary review until I hear back from the manager. I thought when I got an oil change here yesterday 6/30, in the afternoon, that I would have no worries. The video taping of the service looks like accountability is taken seriously there. I found it a little peculiar when I was told my vehicle was done, a young man from the bay ran out to meet me at my car parked out front and said I needed to hold on before I left because he needed to put the engine cover on still (my hood was closed, and glad he remembered because why would I think any different)? This was a full-service change so all fluids and associated points to that were checked and I gladly paid for. Unfortunately I had severe fluid issues today and it seems very suspicious now that the person working on my car may not have known what they were doing. I am frankly upset and waiting for the manager to return my voicemail. Depending on how this situation is handled, this review goes to 1 star or 5 star. Either way, I shouldnt have to be worrying about the fluids in my car when I literally just was being a good owner and had it all looked at the day before. Attached is a photo of what they almost forgot to put on. Also, I noticed that one of my tire air covers was different, and it was barely tightened on, so they screwed that up too. Minor, but crazy annoying they did not even do that correctly. I hope the manager is transparent and gladly reviews the videos they take with me.

This place is like a spa for your car. Get you oil changed, fluids checked car washed and cleaned its a one stop shop. Staff is super nice the place is really clean. I like you can watch what they are doing with your vehicle on the screens in the waiting room. Not to mention the 10/10 massage chair. It was quite the experience.

Great service got me in and out. Loved they have TVs that have the cameras showing you them working on your vehicle. Would be 5 stars but the price of the food and drinks in there are way overpriced for a place you are already spending money in.

I love the price point for the unlimited car wash, and it is a fantastic quality car wash. My only complaint is that it seems like the tire slick goes on a little too thick sometimes, because some of it ends up spraying up in my car. Nevertheless, if I wipe it off, you would never know.

They forgot to put oil back in the vehicle after an oil change and so it cause my engine to go out that same day. When called they said they couldnt honor their work. This put me out of my only vehicle. it was a 2019 suv. I will not go to them ever again and not recommend them. This is the bill of proof that my husband took my car there and then i was told by the dealership it is due to lack of oil.

I had them do a straight forward oil change for my Lincoln. They were quick, reasonably priced, and professional (and not in a pretend kind of way). Waiting there was very nice and comfy. Overall a pleasure.l

I went here today for a basic oil change which cost $82 to begin with and left with a car that is not working right. After I left my window would not roll up, my turn signals don’t work, a/c does not work, back up camera doesn’t work, steering wheel controls don’t work and my digital dashboard is messed up and showing an error message. I came right back and told the workers and they couldn’t figure out what happened and said it was nothing they did. I find it odd that my car was working perfectly the whole time I was there and after they use the code reader on my car everything is broken. So now I’m driving an hour home on the interstate with no turn signals and my windows down. They will be paying the bill for anything that needs to be fixed. Needless to say I will never be going back and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Wow free vacs and really good car wash. Did a good job when taking my car through. It is a little proxy but personally I think it was worth it. About $20 for a good wash. I believe they have a monthly thing you can pay for if you really like getting your car clean. The car wash does touch your car but there is self wash also if you prefer.

I showed up when they were open and a lady was in front of me which is fine. She was finished so Im the next to go in. Well apparently if you get in the #3 garage line youb get skipped when people want their tires rotated. Ive never been one to complain but when you skip me not once but twice. It puts me in a very bad mood.

Really like Lucas Oil especially the wash. 1st. Best wash in town, that we know of.m; 2nd. They have FREE vacuums that really works great; 3rd. They supply window cleaning supplies and clean dry rags too. So you get a GREAT WASH, and they dont nickel and dime you. Thank You Lucas Oil!

I was in town visiting relatives when it became time for me to get the oil change on my 2003 Chevy Trailblazer with 150,000+ miles. I searched reviews and came upon this option. Reviews looked good and a bonus they use Lucas oil products. Thats all I use in my truck. I believe in their products. I usually buy the stuff and give it to my mechanic back home (which by the way is eastern Pennsylvania)Staff was friendly, courteous and, knowledgeable. They did a full check of my truck. Informed me of the lower tire pressure in one of my tires, advised me that it was soon time to change the differential fluid. Replaced an air filter and, lubed the chassis.Yes, the price is higher then your 5 minute grease monkey oil change establishments but, I felt comfortable and confident that the job was performed correctly and that I was able to make the 800 mile trip home.I asked if there were any other Lucas Oil stations any where else. Unfortunately there arent any others. Youre lucky Evansville IN to have a reparable business that sells great products with fantastic service.I know next time Im in town and Im due for an oil change, Ill go there !!!!

Went in last week for an oil change and arrived a half hour before they opened so I could get in and out quickly. With only one vehicle in front of me I thought I was in good shape. Long story short, when they opened at 8:00, they moved my vehicle to the back of another line, putting 4 vehicles ahead of me. When I asked why, she said they weren’t opening the bay I parked in front of. Basically she said tough luck. Ended up taking my truck to express lube and got the same service done for 30 dollars less and they acted like they wanted my business versus Lucas who act like you have nowhere else to go.

Lucas Oil has never caused any damage to my car as other reviews have stated. They even replaced my oil drain plug for free for being a return customer. However, plan ahead. I havent gone without it taking an hour for my car to make it in to the bay. That being said, they provide a quality, extensive service that takes time to complete. Good service. Long wait times. 5 stars if it werent for the wait.

Always looking how well my car is after a wash...the young men could of prepped a little better on the rear but still came out nice. I had to wipe on the outside spoiler a little.The free vacuums are nice but not very strong. Lucas Oil offers many options to help maintain basic health for a car. They are on the higher price of an oil change, but you pay for what you get here. They offer an amazing lounge with a cafe for while you wait. They also have a fantastic touch carwash and a free vaccum for paying customers.

First of all I think they are expensive. second of all I heard that the people that owned were good people so I did not expect any bs. But when the guy ask me if i wanted to change my air filter I said no, I will take care of it then they tried to charge me for an air filter as I was checking out. What gets me is that noone was running to my vehicle to change out the new one for the bad one. I could see my car clearly from the window. I checked it later and no air filter had been installed as there was dust all over the air filter casing release but no finger prints or any signs that anyone changed it. I wont be back. I am sure you wont miss me but I will spread the word as much as I can. From reading other reviews it sounds as if these guys think they are perfect, nothing is ever their fault. I dont need the bs.

Not thrilled with this place. First time Ive ever went to a quick lube place that actually made me sit in a waiting area. The waiting area also doubles as a convenience store. Clever way to squeeze out more money! The service took 20 minutes longer than Im accustomed to from a typical quick lube. Price was fine. There was a guy there whod been waiting over an hour and a half. When the clerk overheard me saying wow I wouldnt wait that long, she asked me if I wanted to leave! I was about to, but the manager was nicer and told me it wouldnt take an hour and a half, so I stayed. Couple this with awkward conversation with the locals Im not compatible with (Im a Miami girl) and the entire waiting room thing just wasnt for me. Next time I need an oil change in this town Ill find a place where I can be done in 30 minutes, comfortably isolated in my car.🚗🚗

While a bit on the pricey side the level of work Ive gotten has been splendid. The engaging and professional staff is incredibly engaging. They do an excellent job explaining what they found etc. They arent overly pushy and best of all they are FAST. Normally youd have to choose one or the other but not here. Best place to get your oil change as they truly do check everything and top off all fluids. The once even found that my tires were wearing unevenly and probably saved me from a blowout on the interstate.In the lobby you can watch your car being worked on via their live pit camera and the system. Thats a definite plus for those who wonder if your car is being taken care of, which I assure it will.They dont just do oil changes either. Theyll rotate your tires and perform minor repairs.And in my opinion, they have the best additive products, which they carry in house.

Was in and out in 15 minutes. It is so nice inside in the waiting area and they had a cool little play area for the children. I trust theyre honest and doing the job right, which is hard to find.

Best place in town for oil changes, etc.

April, 2017: Took my vehicle in for a simple oil change. As I was about to leave the counter after dropping off my key with the clerk and one of the owners/managers who was standing there, I asked how long it would be. The clerk responded, with no additional explanation, that it would be an hour or more. I thought wow, thats a long time for an oil change, but I had some free time and shopping to do in the area that I could walk to. Well, my vehicle was finally ready after 92 minutes!! Thats after they told me that my air filter was close to expiring and that I should think about replacing it next time. That struck me kind of funny considering the last time I was in, which was several months earlier, they told me that I needed a new air filter. I responded at that time that I would replace it myself. Anyway, when I finally left that day, the drivers side floor mat, which is partially carpeted, was stained with an oily shoe print, and, as always, the windshield had not been cleaned and the interior had not been vacuumed out. Im avoiding this place in the future. One hour and thirty two minutes is excessive for a simple oil change. And, if its going to take a long time, which would be anything over 25 minutes, the employees should offer a head-up when you first arrive.

Seemed liked a nice clean place but did NOT have any gift cards for Christmas. They evidently ran out but did not offer any other options ( maybe a receipt with their logo with their name on it would be option). Instead of losing customers. Especially what they charge.
