They are excellent. We like them very much.
Hagan has always been honest and dependable for us. We appreciate their knowledge and skills
Great so far! Part is on order, but technician was really good.
Called them this morning and Brian came out at 11:00, told us what was wrong and he even had the part with him! Very friendly and professional!! Really happy with the service on our refrigerator, will use them again in the future for sure! Thank you guys big time!!!
Given appointment for arrival 8-12 AM to repair ice maker on Kitchen Aide refrigerator freezer. Repair person did not appear or call to cancel. I spent 4 hours at home waiting for service that never showed.
Weve always received excellent service from Hagan Appliances servicing the Appliances we purchased from Lowes with an extended warranty plan until recently. In early December 2020 our oven stopped working we contacted them on 12/11 and we couldnt get service until 12/21 and that was after contacting the three times when the service man came to our home he didnt even attempt to work on anything and was here less then 5 minutes to be told he had to order parts. We waited 2 weeks contacted Hagans to follow up only to be told that Lowes declined to pay for it and they would get back to us two more days passed we tried again to be told they were unable to reach Lowes and they would get back to us that I didnt need to contact Lowes myself. I got off the phone with Hagan got right through to Lowes only to be told by Lowes that Hagan apparently lied to them and Lowes was told this job was completed by Hagan and was closed, in the meantime we never ever heard back from Hagan. So here we are still a month later waiting on service with an oven down, good thing we have a second oven. Very disappointed with the NON SERVICE we received from Hagan Appliances
They were very professional and efficient. The tech that came out, Josh, was very kind to explain exactly what the problem was and offer different solutions. In the end we decided to repair the appliance, and Hagens was able to order the part and install it quickly. They were always kind enough to call before coming out and letting us know when they would arrive.
Ive never written a negative review on any company before. Most times, I just let things slide because no one is perfect and people have bad days.Im writing this review with the hopes that this company will improve. I would not recommend doing business with them at this time.I had a service call for a dishwasher repair between 8AM and 12PM. At 10:30AM, the repairman rang my phone and left a message to call the office back. I didnt hear the phone and thus called back at 11:06AM. I left a message and repeatedly called back until I got a hold of someone at 11:30AM. I was told that because I missed the call, the repairman assumed that I wasnt home and went onto other calls - and I would then have to wait until the 12PM-4PM window. Because I couldnt wait, I pressed the person on the phone as to why they have such a procedure since I was not told that I needed to answer my phone prior to the call, nor did the repairman say anything on his message indicating this. It was just call the office. The person on the phone basically said this was my fault. He said weve been in business for 62 years this is how we do it. He said their policy is that if the customer does not answer the call, they assume they are not home and move on because they have so many calls to do.Its not my company, but I would think that the repairman should leave a message saying that you are next and Ill be on my way in approximately.....depending on how long my current job.... At least thats how every other service (cable, HVAC, plumber) Ive used operates. Furthermore, customer service 101 should state arrive at the customers home and ring a doorbell before deciding to move on since customers plan their days around such calls. The company may reply to this posting with their side. Know that whatever they say, what I wrote is how I experienced my dealings with this company. They may know how to repair appliances, but their customer service and overall attitude is abysmal. They likely can stay in business because they dont have many competitors and appliances frequently break, so they can afford to not care about their customers because they can turn a profit on volume. Again, if you choose to do business with them, know in advance what youre getting into. I hope that changes and they improve their customer service because Id hate to see a company in business for 62 years go under.
Excellent service and fair price. My washer was repaired quickly and the gentleman explained everything in clear detail. I appreciate that! I absolutely recommend Hagan.
I dont normally ever give a 1 Star - Negative Review. It is sad that a company that has been in business this long, has this level of customer service, in a world where you can Google reviews and services from other companies. We need warranty service on our Bosch Dishwasher we purchased from Lowes. I contacted Bosch and they said to call Hagan, give them the model and serial number, and provide them a copy of the purchase receipt when they arrive. I called Hagan, they said Bosch has to provide a service ticket number first before they will come out. I call Bosch again and told them this, they say, that is Not how warranty service is done, they dont do it this way, just give them your model and serial number with copy of receipt, and thats how they get paid. I called Hagan again, and he said he refuses to work on our dishwasher without a Service Dispatch Conformation Number from Bosch, he doesnt need the business that bad! I called Bosch back again, I told them exactly what the person from Hagan said, so they gave me a number to provide to them. I called Hagan the 4th time and gave them the Conformation Number from Bosch, this was 2 days ago and I have yet to receive a call back to set up an appointment. Our warranty is going to expire within two weeks and I am no longer waiting around. I am calling another warranty service company from Jasper, IN. Weve had minor issues in the past with Hagan Appliance Service in Evansville, even our local appliance store WILL NOT use them to warranty service our Maytag Washer & Dryer, but I promise, I will avoid ever using them if at all possible. If anyone ever asks, I will tell the truth about my personal experience. As as statement form the person I talked to at Hagan Appliance said, I dont need the business that bad!
Josh was at our house to repair our washing machine last week. He did an excellent job. He is both professional and personable. He was efficient, thorough, and a pleasure to get to know. We most highly recommend this company to others!
Great Service, Mike came out on our new Maytag fridge and the drawer was not opening correctly, he was very professional and took time to explain how the roller system operated. Also fixed the loose handle on our freezer bottom drawer. Great customer service and called before coming. Thanks for taking care of our issues.
Best service!! I had a different company out several times and they couldnt figure out the problem.. just kept replacing parts! More and more money.. Hagans technicians came out diagnosed the problem, ordered the correct part, installed the part and it worked perfectly. THANKS HAGAN APPLIANCE!!!!
We have had Hagans to our home on a few occasions for products still covered by warranty. The gentleman showed up on time and was extremely professional. Would not hesitate to use again
They came out the next day to fit me into their already hectic schedule. My oven was fixed and ready for Christmas in about 30 minutes. The gentleman was very friendly and knew what he was doing. They come highly recommend by me! Thank you!
I would highly recommend this company. I have used Hagan at both my personal residence and my numerous rental properties throughout Evansville and Newburgh and never been disappointed.
My heating element went out in my oven. I called Hagans and was told to come get the part after 3:30. I get there a little before 4 and call them b/c its closed. I left a message that Friday and now they still havent called back on the next Wednesday. I bought the part at Evansville Appliance Parts on E Diamond Ave. Im glad I didnt wait.
I could not ask for better service than I received from Hagan appliance.
What a rip off. I wish I had read the reviews before calling him. DO NOT CALL THIS PERSON (Hagan) EVER and someone must report him to the Better Business Bureau. He was nasty and abrupt and wrote up an estimate to fix a spring in my dishwasher that costs $20.00 maximum, ($175.00). Never in my life have I encountered this before. NEVER CALL THIS COMPANY.
Satisfied 100% service very helpful Charles Murphy 5/29/2018
My 1st online review, but I felt compelled given the poor service. I would avoid Hagans at any cost. They are rude, they did not fix my dishwasher
My dishwasher needed to be repaired under an extended warranty from Home Depot. I called Home Depot and scheduled an appointment for almost 2 weeks out, and was told Hagan would call a few days before the appointment to give me a time.A few days before my appointment I hadnt heard from Hagan so I called them directly. The guy who answered the phone was extremely rude. I explained to him that I had warranty work to be done through Home Depot, and he tells me instantly that they dont do warranty work for Home Depot. The entire 2 or 3 minutes I was on the phone he acted as if I was wasting his time.He took my name and address, and said he would check to make sure they didnt have a work order for me after scolding me again about them not doing warranty work for Home Depot. After just a few seconds of being on hold he picks up the line and told me they didnt have a work order for my name or address.I called Home Depot to verify. They placed me on hold and called Hagan Appliance. Like an act of magic the work order was now there. The excuse they gave Home Depot to pass along is that the work order was placed in the Lowes warranty work bucket, so it went over looked. I say BS, because no matter what bucket it went in they would need to schedule the appointment tof make sure they had someone to do the job. Also what kind of filing system is using buckets? How about you get some stacking trays or folders? At this point Hagan said they could no longer honor the appointment I had made 12 days before the day of service, and offered thier next available appointment which was a week later. This day didnt work with my work schedule, and decided to call back later to schedule an appointment that worked for my schedule.I have now called multiple times, and left voicemails trying to schedule my appointment. As of today they have refused to answer when I call, and havent called me back to set up my appointment. If my warranty were not a zero dollar parts and labor warranty I would find someone else to do the work.
Had the displeasure of dealing with rick and hagen appliance when my washing machine had to be repaired through lowes. Rick was very rude when trying to set a appointment. And stated that since i wasnt available during his time slot of wed morning i would just hace to figure it out and call him back. But funny when lowes called them they said they could on the day i requested. I had them cancel and send another provider out. I wouldnt do buisness with them if they were the only game in town. Thankfully they are not!
Great work! Dont fall for the and sons business.
Find another place. 20 minutes past appointment and I had to call to ask whats going on. 2 hours later and still waiting.
I did not schedule them. The man that answered the phone acted like he was doing me a favor by talking to me. Rude
Im still waiting for a call for them to fix my washing machine. Its been 2 weeks since they said I work too late in the afternoon (2:30) to make an appt. They will try to figure something out and get back to me.Its under warranty from kings, Ive paid for this warranty. Very disappointed in customer service.
Very rude people
