I love this store! Wonderful, kind and helpful staff. The manager Joann is such a pleasure to work with! Gorgeous merchandise and a beautiful layout. What makes the store even better is that profits go to such a great cause! Can’t say enough good things about the YWCA Crowded Closet 😊

A few great buys.

I used to love this place, but upon visiting the new location, was so disappointed. Seemed like there was less inventory. The shoe section especially disappointing.

The stores name perfectly describes this place. I do not know how someone finds anything here. It is so packed that I could not even slide the hangers to see the clothes. I found the prices high but, for what I could see, the store has quality items.

The ultimate treasure hunt!It is like a crowded closet, except it’s not filled with junk. Really fun to spend an hour just going through it. I always find at least one fantastic thing to bring home.Just fun!

The Crowded Closet is by far the best consignment shop in near the Chicagoland area. The merchandise is unique, classy,and the prices are reasonable when you look at the quality of the garments. I love shopping their and the staff are always thrilled to see their clients. The selections are fabulous. See you soon.

I have shopped at both stores. The GREATEST STORE Next to New Orleans! It is with the time and money to get reasonable clothing, jewelry and other items. 5 Star..rating....

Do NOT consign your apparel here!!!! I stopped in to inquire about payment - and to check personally whether my pieces were sold or still on the floor. The owner rudely brushed me off with shell get to it when time permits. That was end of Sept., items were brought in in late June/early July. Just received (Oct. 6) a $26 UNITEMIZED check, so no accounting of what sold or for how much (note, minimum of 10 items required to consign.) But more importantly, she deducted an $8 CHECK FEE from the total!!!!! Lady, you havent seen or heard the last from this PR pro, social media afficiando, journalist.

Really enjoyed shopping here, lots of good stuff, friendly service. I do wish the tops were separated by size.

Cozy store filled to the brim with womens clothing, but not the place to shop for 20-30YO trendy or cheap clothing.

It is a little pricey but the staff are very nice. They do have a lot of nice things if you are willing to pay a little more.
