This was my go-to beauty supply store in Evanston. They had a fire and rebuilt. Unfortunately the prices went up a lot. They dont seem to have as much product for the hair care. What they do have is an extraordinary amount of hair to sell. So if youre looking for wigs extensions locs You will find those there. I noticed with the fire that the prices have just gone up so much that I usually now go to Howard beauty supply on Western.

The store was clean and well stocked, but the service was horrendous! While the young lady waited on us the other continued to tell her in a very vulgar manner how she felt about another person/employee. She did not even hesitate to use profanity or derogatory expression while my mom and I checked out. When my mom asked her could she please stop talking and let the young lady take care of us?, she stormed off rolling her eyes and mumbling under her breath...when a simple my apologies would have sufficed! The young lady who waited on us did apologize and was great, but the reality is your establishment is only as good as its weakest link! Please retrain staff immediately!

Newly remodeled, clean, out of what I was shopping for. Yet would shop there again.

Staff makes me feel very uncomfortable while shopping. They are very rude & intrusive. The think that everyone shoplifts, Im assuming, they give people the death stare the entire time ur shopping which makes it very uncomfortable even being there.

The staff was courteous and I found many products.

Nice to see it reopen nice layout and clean and bright but went to get and price of hair color not available so let me exchange hair to a different color because they had both peice no because it was pass the time I purchased some people work and cant get back right away...it was never open.....

Well this is the second week in a row I stop by my main Beauty Supply and theyre still closed. There was a fire in the laundromat next door the damage in their looks pretty extensive so I dont know how much damage the beauty supply store sustained. Oh boy I had to go all the way in the city and Chicago on Wilson to my old go to spot it was a hassle and a long way. So I will be glad when main Beauty Supply reopens. Update, it does not appear to me that Mane Beauty will not be reopening anytime soon the place is gutted goodbye main Beauty you were stable for a long time now Ill our time is done and I have moved on but thank you for the Memories.

This is my favorite beauty shop.They typically have everything I need, all the products, brands etc. If youre into weave or wigs... so many selections and they seem to do sales a lot?They have cheap little gloss and makeup if your out and forgot your normal product... and the little earrings are sometimes cute.Always a go to spot... but it is super far from me

Workers were not helpful at all. Never ask me if I needed help but the ran to the customer that was looking at the human hair wigs! Will not be coming back here again.

Courteous, kind clean mature staff! Whatever style you seek, there is a Stylist here, from hip styles to classic styles. You wont find the loud rap music playing atmosphere here!Its very laid-back, and so I would recommend this shop to anyone mature!

How can a business sell products with no prices on their products? I’m going to call consumer protection to find out if that’s legal. And no return policy should be against the law, but look at what and who we are dealing with; greed!

The senior employees are starting to get un professional! The store has a good variety of new hair products yet the staff is beginning to be less people friendly. Why continue to work there if u dont like people. 🤷‍♀️

Its the closest store to my house. Prices are ok. Staff can be helpful but the items that is locked you have to search for help.

Poor customer service, the black girls theire acted as if answering questions wasnt apart of their job title. I was very uncomfortable and dissatisfied with my visit to this store today.

Update: Service is so rude and unappreciative.. Guess they arent aware of online hair boutiques. Will never shop there again.. #1 never keep popular hair in stock.. #2 extremely rude employees..#3 lack of professionalism... Must try Amazon...

The worst service........ She got an attitude with me & didn’t want to exchange my item after she saw that the hair on the mannequin is totally different than the one In the packet. I ask when will the owner be there she lied to my face and said she don’t know then said Monday & she don’t know what time.
