Says they provide drop off for federal express ... NEVER have Ive been able to because there computer is down ... Then referred to federal express store across way every time. The point of them being a drop off is they are open when the store isnt ... But you know ... Computer down... Must have covid.

“I can’t do your print because I haven’t been trained on the machine!” That seems to be an Office Max issue; not customer issue! When one drives 6 miles and that is the service one receives; wow; poor management at this location of 4221 Washington, Evans, GA.
It seems like your self serve printer never works. I came in today around 6:30 for such services and my order had been set up to be sent via email. It was for two sets of six standard size colored pages. Once I came in and went through all the steps necessary to check out it seemed to lag and/or froze on the “calculating order total” page. I stood there for about 7-10 minutes before I asked the associate behind the counter how long should it typically take to load. She then replied, “It depends on how many pages it is”. I then went into further details stating that it didn’t even get that far as it got stuck on the calculating total part. She then replied “The system might need to be rebooted or maybe there’s an issue with the WiFi signal”. So she proceeded to reboot the printer and simply walked away. I must say it seemed like she was too busy doing her closing up duties (I work retail as well so Im familiar with the tasks I witnessed her doing as I had no other choice while I waited such as emptying the trash can, refilling paper, rolling up, and stacking large paper rolls). I waited another 5 minutes for the reboot system and went through the process yet again and stood there for yet another 7 minutes. During all of this time two other people came in and out with their preorders, but still no acknowledgement, consideration, even a simple “is it working now” question of concern from the associate. It is now 6:53 and at this point I just asked the associate again “how long should this typically take as you didn’t clarify my inquiry before”. She stared at me as if I was a burden and proceeded to reply, “I told you it still may be the WiFi. I can’t really say how long it will take. However, we have other self serve computers over there that MAY work or I can even print it out for you on my end if you’re choosing not to wait”. Well thank you for offering that now 30 minutes into my visit and since “I’m not choosing to wait” as she put it. So, I forwarded my email and amongst her still continuing to clean up she was able to print it for me within 5 minutes. I must admit that the last time I came into this same location I had the same exact issue with the printer itself. So, management needs to discuss next steps needed if your self serve printer and/or WiFi doesn’t work as promised. In addition to that, the previous associate had me in and out within 10 minutes by actively empathizing, checking in, and offering her assistance initially. It’s unfortunate that this associate didn’t have the time of day to provide customer service until I had to bring it to her attention twice. Being attentive to your surroundings and customers are essential parts of retail. To add fuel to fire, when you use self serve it puts an automatic hold of $5 on your card, so now I have $10 pending for another 3-5 business days for your faulty equipment.

Do a lot of business with them, just want to support our local store. While have big troulbes for any service. Even much worse than online experience. Have to quit to support them any more.
The team here is courteous and polite. They know whether or not they have something in stock or not, which is simple, but rare! Walked in one morning looking for a projector to replace one that burnt out the day before, and I had a training to complete. This team had me in and out with a new projector and protection plan within 10 minutes.
Staff always checking to see if you need assistance. Even when staff ask, always willing to take you to the product. Staff very professional and courteous.
My wife and I recently shopped at OfficeMax at 4221 Washington Rd, Evans, GA 30809. We have been satisfied customers of this location since it opened as we have our own business and value both good product and most especially courteous service. Recently there has been a change in attitude at this specific location and it appears to be with the Senior staff. While the young man who attended to us when we entered went out of his way to be both respectful, courteous and helpful, his senior staff member was rude, dismissive and oddly hateful. My wife commented as we left that she believed this must be from a personal sense of failure to be so offensive to a customer with no history with that customer. We are sorry to see this drop in customer service and this disdain for others attitude displayed with such disregard and after considerable time as satisfied customers we will regroup and seek out another business to service our office needs. Hopefully the young man with the impressive commitment to service will find employment in another location that will welcome his generosity.
Friendly, helpful staff knew exactly what we were looking for and where to find it. A little disorganized due to back-to-school promotions. Plenty of quantities and variety of choices for each item.

I will not be returning to this location, man in pickup area was rude,
I will not be returning to any OfficeMax after my experience today. I purchased OfficeMax brand ink for my Canon Pixma 922 (it says on the ink box this printer is supported). When I open the box, there is an insert that says the ink will not be recognized by the printer and it provides a tech support number I am supposed to call to walk through an override process. This override does not work, so now they accuse me of getting fingerprints on the cartridge (I did not, and doubtful that this happened to 3/3 cartridges), and want me to clean them, so now I have ink all over my hands. It is absurd to sell a product knowing it probably will not work, at least not without having a disclaimer on the OUTSIDE of the box. Further, once I return it I checked and see that the CANON NAME BRAND INK IS $13 LESS AT TARGET, cheaper than the knock off scam OfficeMax Ink. On top of this experience many of the items in the store are out of stock on the shelves, and while I was there today I overhear an employee complaining about another light going out and look up to see that many of the lights in the store are burned out. It seems like this place is going out of business any minute and after todays frustration I look forward to this happening and a useful store replacing it.
Staff is wonderful when it comes to answering questions they can answer any crazy question you throw at them... Will always stop if I need anything!

Great place great service
Finally got credit for the printer cartridges I submitted in September. It takes up to a month to get those cartridges approved. What they may not tell you is that you are required to purchase at least 10 dollars worth of merchandise during the month you turn the cartridges in or order to get the credit the next month. I called the national customer service representative and they gave me credit and a 10 dollar incentive..for my trouble.

Ive been in the local store in Evans Georgia 3 times this week and each time I felt that the employees were stilted and not very engaging. I felt that I was more of a distraction to them rather than a customer.
