I really appreciate your staff for their professionalism and hard work. I brought my teen in, who has some social anxiety, and the woman running the dressing room was so kind, treated them with respect and took the time to answer their questions. Thank you. I appreciate it.

Will definitely come back!! Loved so many things there, which I cant wait to wear. Clothes are in great condition. Most clothes there are for teens, which i’m happy about, as many thrift stores are for women. Employees were really nice and willing to help too!

This place is horrible. They discriminate against older or larger sized women, catering only to petite, younger girls. Avoid at all costs.

Buffalo is always fun. I grew up going to the stores in Portland and California, this location holds up. I only find something maybe half the time I come in but thats true for any second hand store. They always have weird wacky things to sift through but they have great prices on nice clothing, I found my favorite pair of beautiful leather boots here that I wouldnt have paid full price for. Definitely worth a stop.

Lady that was working the day I walked in was not friendly. She was snobby. She talked to me more like she was lecturing me instead of displaying a customer service attitude. I will not go there again.

Fast, friendly customer service in a stand-alone building with ample free parking. There is a large selection of hand-picked gently used contemporary fashions for both men and women.

They have a great selection of all sorts of styles, including vintage items. Everything is in excellent condition. They have been very safe following covid precautions, although customers are not always aware of the six foot rule. Employees are nice, but the clothing at this location always looks straight off the discount rack at pac sun. There’s rarely anything unique or diverse from mainstream trendy. Definitely tailored to appeal to the Greek life crowd and that’s about it.

I’ve been in Eugene for 10 years. I started going to Buffalo in about 2014. For years they had a solid staff of the same, rad women. They had dynamic taste and lots of knowledge on quality clothing. I’d find James Perse, Mother, Stateside— unique pieces with high quality materials/natural fibers. Over the last 3-4 years, I’ve seen incredible turnover in the staff and I can’t find anything that isn’t Nike, Forever 21, Madewell, etc.. most clothing is synthetic materials and lacks interesting, vintage quality. Totally heartbroken! Bring back the good stuff.

When there is a blue moon you can find maybe one vintage item not totally mangled and worn for a good price. Other than that, I have bought here often- pretty over it though and will not be going back. They have either eccentric things or very typical mall findings anddddd nothing in between. I will also second all the reviews, saying the employees aren’t much of a breath of fresh air. But hey, it is a college town in the West Coast, what do you expect?

Sadly I will not be returning. I really wanted to like this place, but they barely give you anything for your clothes, and have basically no selection for plus sizes. If you want to find anything past an 18 you are out of luck. So I can’t even use my trade in amount, and the cash is no where near enough for the items you bring in. Ill stick to selling online as you can make 3x or more per item.

Ive been to a lot of BEs around the US and this one is solid. A little sparse, but lots of great pieces. Pricing is also sane when it comes to brand/quality.

Buffalo Exchange is without a doubt the premier second hand clothing store and that is something that has been unchanged as long as I can remember. Something that also hasnt changed is the beautiful women who work there who are most helpful simultaneously showcasing there great sense of style. Prices arent bad either.

The customer service was alright just had to educate the front people about the ADA laws since I have a service dog, who was alerting. They had a lot of good quality clothes. Will go back.

This place is awesome. Great brands and options. Excellent quality. Got a Columbia jacket for my dad: $16, cargo Under Armour pants: $18, and leather motorcycle pants: $26. All like new. The staff is super friendly.

My wife wanted to try this place out.She needed some jeans and let me tell you she was not disappointed.Out of 5 pairs she liked 3, which is fairly rare.Not only did she find the jeans she found a really neat belt to go with.She says It was decently priced had a large selection and the staff was friendly.We like these kind of stores and will definitely be back!

Great selection with a good array of prices. It was my first time in, I have only ever been to Platos Closet and Clothes Mentor. I honestly prefer Buffalo Exchange now that Ive been in! I got 3 items for 40 dollars. I got a cute zip up slouchy hooded sweatshirt, super cute flannel print button up with awesome floral interior, and a great hi low blouse. They had trendy and new items, as well as really awesome vintage items. Staff was warm and welcoming, all patrons shopping seemed to be assisted as needed. Great store!

I brought in 3 vintage swing dresses to sell, the cheapest of them i paid $45.00 for the other 2 cost me between 60-80 bucks and I got just under 20 bucks for all 3 of them...I feel completely robbed & will never sell to them again.

I love Buffalo! Ive found some of my favorite pieces from there. For people complaining about the prices: for the most part, youre getting probably a 70-80% discount from retail prices and the majority of the clothes are gently worn. Ive gotten some crazy steals from designer jeans to awesome vintage shirts to leather boots. Also, of course they wont buy everything if youre selling. Even if its great condition and good brands, they might have too many shirts at that moment or it might not be what theyre looking for. Not a big deal. My only complaint is the amount of new merch they have. Last time I was there it seemed that 75% of the dresses were new. I go there because I want to buy secondhand, not new items. Other than that, one of my fave stores and the Eugene location is especially good.

Wouldn’t recommend. They don’t take anything for in store credit unless it’s brand new and has tags and if they even take those items they give you three dollars for a 20$ shirt, bought a tank top from here and it had massive stains all over, noticed when I got home and went to wash. The clothes they sell are worn out even though the claim not to take worn out items. Also the clothes they sell are way overpriced, some are more expensive than if you were to go buy the item from the store it was originally sold at. Goodwill and St. Vincent have better deals and the same product.

Ive sold clothing here a few times and the girls buying the clothes usually are nice. Of course you will get more money if you decide to use in-store credit from the items they buy from you, but the pay-out price for clothing in cash is always easy and quick. The store has a good selection as well, they have a good fashion sense and seem to really know their brands well.

A fantastic way to save dough! And find treasure! Very knowledgeable staff that assisted me in locating the perfect outfit on a short notice! Will return again.

Id totally complain that the mens style here is pretty much trailer park goatee backwards cap with a gut styled, but I think thats just what sells here in Eugene. I love the Buffalo in Portland, but this one pretty seriously lacks. I find a few things here that are actually modern and stylish so thank them for working against the Eugene current and actually carrying a few decent items mixed in there. As awful as most of it is... I find a few great things now and then!

I really like Buffalo Exchange. Ive been selling and shopping at this location for about 10 years now. As with all resale stores, sometimes they take a lot of my clothes and sometimes they dont take any. It just depends on their current stock, trends, etc. I dont take it personally. (Sometimes I will even hold onto clothes they declined and try a few months later once the stock has changed.) Ive always felt respected when interacting with the staff. Again, sometimes I will find a lot of clothes I want to purchase and other times I wont be interested in the current trends that they have on hand. Prices are more expensive than Goodwill, etc. but its a trade off for organized high-quality clothing.

Terrible store. Employees are condescending and will patronize you any opportunity they have. The price they are willing to pay for quality clothing is dirt cheap and Their prices are marked up to an incredible fee where they are nearly more expensive than their retail counterparts. And to top it all off, nothing you can get here you couldn’t find at the mall. On the upside this store is somewhere that can make you look like you’re fresh out of 6th grade.

Some times you can get good deals, but you have to look hard. Overall good quality. Youd be better off going to an outlet mall, or Nordstroms during sales. However, some times you can spot a really good deal. Which is great. The quality of their clothes is very good.

I have always bought and sold name brand clothing. Over 20 years now. My 2 daughters wanted to take their own clothes in and get different items. Their clothes are all name brand, no tears, holes, stains etc. (we donate those items). They had over 50 pieces and not a single thing was wanted except for a North Face backpack. They would give in store credit of $20. WHAT?!?! It was used one semester and was just too big. This backpack was purchased new for almost $200. Needless to say we kept it. I was seated nearby and heard the whole thing. The workers there were extremely snotty and rude. Not just to my girls but everyone else they talked to. I cannot believe they are still open. This incident took place 2 years ago. PLEASE! GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT HERE!!!

I want to like Buffalo, but I just cant take a store like this seriously when they refuse to accept pristine condition items but you can sure enough find a pair of ripped leopard print flats that look/smell like someone wore them every day for the last two years.I also get way too much of a look at me Im hip vibe from staff when I shop here, but maybe its just me.Overall - meh. Not worth the time of day IMO. There are friendlier staff and better options and prices throughout Eugene. Nothing to see here.

I can almost always find a deal here. It helps if I go in with a specific item in mind though? They have lots of cute clothes.

We came in with four boxes of stuff. They were super rude and seemed annoyed we had so much stuff. Had brands like Nike, Addidas, and stuff with tags. Some of our stuff was definitely a little dated so we knew some of it probably wouldnt be able to sell some of it but she couldnt even bother to unfold a bunch of stuff. We had stuff exactly like what was on display in the window. Extremely dissapointed. If I could rate this zero stars I would.

I love this store! The clothes are high quality, and really beautiful. Reasonable prices. Everyone working there was very nice and helpful, and I really appreciated that. I definitely recommend this place!

This place is great for digging for nice clothes that may be a little bit nicer than what you will find at Goodwill or other donation based thrift stores.My advice is to buy things that are out of season as they may be discounted further than normal, and while you may not have a great need for a jacket it May, or summer clothes in February, put them in the closet and youll be ready when the season comes.

Very good stuff here for anyone looking to get top brands for good prices.They are very picky and slightly inconsistent with what they take in. Some stuff on the racks is in not as good of condition as some of the things Ive seen rejected and are same brand or style.Overall, great for buying, difficult to sell or get swap credit.

Took some clothes in, they accepted most of it, which was cool. But I find it really odd that most of the staff there were really rude to guest. Employees give off a high school -cliquey vibe to guest coming in . Very rude and unprofessional. Wouldnt recommend spending too much time there.

Went in to sell items, some were brand new, name brands and had tags, they took one item and then waded up my clothes and threw them back in the bag. I understand not buying clothes from a customer but have the courtesy to fold the clothes you dont want back up. Terrible customer service with no care for their customers at all.

Let me tell you about the first time I was in Buffalo Exchange. Any women can disregard my review because I wear mens clothing and only looked for mens. The only bad part of the store was that about 20% of it was guys clothing. However apparently as of recently a bunch of well dressed fellows have sold their clothes to the store. I picked up an incredible duck jersey as well as Nike Trainer 5.0s.THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!

They used to be really good, but now its way over priced. I rarely find anything worth buying. They used to have a lot of unique styles but now its very mainstream and thats a bummer.

Most item are priced 10 and up but you get some quality secondhand merch here. Interesting jackets, shoes, shirts, dresses, and pants galore

So my last review was a bit too harsh as they are the best used fashion establishment in eugene by a long shot. They pay ok for desirable shoes and items. Staff have also gotten nicer which is a plus as they were kinda rude before. Platos closet cant even compete to buffalo.

We like this place for its good quality used clothes...mens and womens. They will take your stuff in on trade as well but their criteria for accepting stuff is a complete mystery. Dont be surprised when they take something you originally bought at Goodwill and pass on your Banana Republic gear. Nice people, plenty of help. Often busy but if youre shopping here youre unlikely to be in a hurry. I love the fact that they give you a token to put in one of several rotating donation boxes if you pass on a bag for your purchase. A simple thing but appreciated.

Im a local.You can honestly find better sale at your local Goodwill, St. Vinnie and even Macys.Everytime I go to this store, as a minority, I always walk away with a bad sense and taste in my mouth.Not interested in going back.

Horrible experience. They will not take your clothes unless you are attractive. There was a very handsome young man in front of us in line who had all worn clothes but they took all of them. When they got to ours (a bag full of clothes, most never worn nor washed), they rejected every single piece. They claimed that the pieces were worn and washed, even though that wasnt true. Dont even waste your time with these petty girls that work the counter - if you arent a muscular attractive young man or hot skinny Cali girl you are nothing to them. NEXT

HORRIBLE I spent all day ironing and making my ( all designer and name brand btw ) clothes look nice I had 12 items to sell 3 of them were from zumies clothes and still had the price tags on them, all together I had 180 dollars worth for the 3 combined I got 23 in store credit. The clothes I brought were nicer then many of the items on the rack, if you want to sell your clothes dont waste your time here, if your clothes are nice like mine were then you will have a much easier time selling online

The prices are ridiculous and inconsistent. Plain shirts are unbelievably expensive considering theyre used and middle of the road brands. Found an actual vintage piece on a rack that was surprisingly inexpensive, especially compared to other stuff they had it mixed in with. Overall not impressed with pricing. Staff is usually nice though!

If I could give Buffalo Exchange zero stars, I would. Dont waste your time there.I brought in NINE BOXES of clothes, a lot of which were better than what they had on the racks. They didnt buy ONE SINGLE item.Not to mention (from past experience) they give you next to nothing for anything they want to buy.I dont recommend trying to sell any used clothes there, unless its brand new, high end stuff, in which case you might get a few bucks.This place is a joke.
