We recently had our solar installed with Solar Symphony after getting quotes from 6 different companies. Solar Symphony was by far not only the best quality of materials but was also the lowest quote for the same quality of panel. I worked directly with Mark Nelson as the sales consultant throughout the process. I was getting estimated times of install from other companies that pushed me out 4 months. Mark took my experience from fantastic to outstanding when he had me installed and up and running within 4 weeks of signing the paperwork. IMO character of a business in service industry is most important when there are exceptions or things are not going as expected/planned. Working with Solar Symphony has been an amazing experience from start to end. They assigned a professional to take you through every step and they were always on or ahead of schedule. We worked with Rachel, and she was always quick to respond and even during holidays. There is never a push for payment. Prices are very competitive and quality is awesome. We are very happy with Solar Symphony.

If I could rate solar symphony a ZERO I would! They have the worst customer service and take forever to get anything done! My whole system was off for 5 months and they did nothing to fix the issue until I threaten to sue! I had to hire another solar company to fix all the issues that they couldn’t/wouldn’t. They are very deceiving and dishonest.

Found Solar Symphony through SDG&E. Respond on time. Very pleasant to work with. Did not over sell panels for our minimum average monthly annual use. Fixed a problem that may or may not have been their problem. So thorough. Highly recommend.

Working with Solar Symphony was a complete pleasure. A client of mine hired Solar Symphony to do his residential solar installation and he gave them rave reviews so I contacted them. They were about 30% cheaper than the major players - you know, those guys with the huge sales staff bugging you every time you enter Home Depot or Lowes. The system was affordable enough that we were able to cover our entire electric bill with a system that would pay off in under five years. Much better than any lease.Once we gave the green light, we went from signing the estimate to turning the system on in about 30 days. Most of it was waiting for the city to do their inspection. Installation was two days. The team was professional, courteous and quick. These guys really have their act together and are quite efficient.I recommend Solar Symphony to ANYONE who is thinking about going solar. After you are done, you will run your A/C with no worries and rest easy knowing you just got rid of your electric bill and protected yourself from future pricing increases. These guys rock!

Dave my installer was extremely professional, a great resource and he went out of his way to install the best system that was physically possible. The Program Management office were very efficient, keep informed every step of the way and were quick to get my system scheduled. Solar Symphony is an excellent and professionally run company. I reviewed some 15 solar companies before selecting Solar Symphony for several reasons -no hi pressure or baloney sales, a excellent competitive price near the low end of some 10 offers, a professional staff that was most pleasant to deal with and a well qualified installation crew. While we missed our installation date involving some 42 panels I will use them again in the near future for another home.

This has got to be one of the smoothest project Ive seen. Our initial meeting with Mark was great, Chris and the crew were awesome - getting the install done in a SINGLE DAY ! All the correspondence with the HOA, the city, the power company and city inspections, everything was really smooth from start to finish. It was a true PLEASURE dealing with Solar Symphony! We signed the paperwork on 2/15 and our system was up and running on 3/28. Solar Symphony took care of EVERYTHING. Easiest project EVER!I would HIGHLY recommend them!

Dishonest !!!!Their ad said 7.6kW for net $14,646 (the net is the small print that means after 26% tax credit)Anyhow before Tax credit it should be $19,791They told me that my ground mount system will be 23K (LG or Q-CELL panels + Enphase micro invertors)Here is the dishonesty, I got an official quote for $23,3601- The quote came out 300 watts less2- Lowest possible grade Chinese panels (Jinko !!)3- Its already 4K more than roof mount. but yet they came back and said they didnt have the trenching cost included in the quote!!!!! . (so why the extra 4K?)Bait and switch???I find them just DISHONEST and GREEDY so be careful.

Solar Symphony knocked it out of the park!Right from the start Mark walked me through all the design considerations as he explained the solar power features and installation process in detail. Albert and his installation crew were very professional and made sure the installation was done exactly as I requested. They adjusted the component locations and made sure the panels were installed without a gap between the groups for me. Dave was here an hour early to make sure everything went smooth with the inspection.In the office, Bethany was super responsive and made sure my project progressed quickly - we went from a signed contract to an operational system in less than 6 weeks! Thats half the time the other companies are taking. And the best part is they were several thousand dollars cheaper than any of the other numerous estimates I received.I would absolutely go with them again - I highly recommend you give them a call.

First, I am an IT project manager who was an electrician in his 20s. I knew solar was a no-brainer, but making an informed choice on which company to use is hard work. I looked at it for over a year and I did my homework. I decided on Solar Symphony b/c theyd also done their homework. The equipment was right. The engineering design was right. The price was right. The references checked out. From the point I signed the agreement, they got the designs, permits, installed, inspection, and had PTO in less than 60 days. I might have gotten lucky on the timing, but clearly couldnt be happier with my system and how smoothly things went. Highly recommend!

Multiple problems slow to be resolved,took over 2 months for them to install.system has stopped working 4 or 5times all these reviews are fake dont dont believe them workers whined and complained during installation all these 5 star reviews are the same ones from 2 years ago

Awesome experience. After getting 6 different quotes from all the top rated solar companies in San Diego a friend that I work with recommended Solar Symphony, which he and his mom had just used to install their systems. I am so glad that he did. They came in with by far the best quote and were able to get my system installed and through final inspection and sign off with SDGE within 5 weeks of signing the contract. They were able to sneak me into NEM 1.0 just in time! I highly recommend them.

I could not possibly be more pleased with this company. They delivered more than they promised. We signed the contract on a Thursday. By the next Friday (eight days later), they had already installed all of the panels and converter, etc. By the next Tuesday we had permission from SDG&E to turn it on. So, in 12 days from contract signing to completion. The system is performing better than promised. Before signing on, we were in discussion with them. Some friends signed their contract about one week before us. We mentioned our friends name, and even though they hadnt officially recommended us to SS, SS gave them a $500 reward.

I was very pleased with the service I received from Solar Symphony. My permit to have solar installed in my roof got held up by the city and the people at Solar Symphony worked diligently to get things going again. I was always given updates regarding the progress that was made. After the permit issues were resolved the install was finished fast. These guys worked hard for me to build a beautiful array on a challenging roof. They were courteous, efficient, and always left the work area clean and safe. They were always able to answer any questions I had, provide explanations regarding technical information with expertise, and completed my install exceeding my expectations.

I decided years ago to do solar but it never penciled out and the most I can get on my roof was about half my usage. Technology has advanced and new panels are more efficient and while prices may have not gone done, electric rates have gone up about 50% for me in the past 2 years so if your on the fence, now is the time to do. Payback is about 4-7 years which is pretty good.So why Solar Symphony? I had about 5 bids and pretty much knew what I wanted in terms of capacity, panel brand (LG) and inverter brand (SMA) and most sent out sales people of questionable knowledge of the systems. Solar Symphony actually was the first that came out that really knew their stuff and it didnt hurt that their prices for the equipment that I got were also lower.They did the design and sent it off for city approval which took a few weeks. They then came out to install and that took a few days but another week or so to get city inspection and another few weeks to get power company permission to operate.Overall the experience was very good and I would recommend Solar Symphony for price, quality of work, knowledge of the product and quality of equipment. I look forward to many years of free electricity.

The install job was very neat and they completed the work ahead of time. We couldn’t be any more pleased! We now understand why all those online reviewers gave them a five star rating! You cannot go wrong choosing Solar Symphony for your solar purchase. They deliver a great product at a competitive price and they provide excellent customer care and service.

I had Solar Symphony design and install a 10.3 KW solar system for my two story home in Irvine, CA. I chose to use the LG335 panels (31 total). I received quotes from three other highly rated companies. When comparing apples to apples they were the least expensive. From start to finish the process was seemless. They were very good working with the Association and navigating through all their bureaucratic red tape. They always had someone at the house to help walk the local governemtn inspectors through the inspection precess. Ultimately, the job was finished in less than 3 weeks without a hitch.

My first contact with Solar Symphony was on 10/17/16. On 11/15/16 I had a complete up and running solar system to produce 100% of my electricity. I could not be happier with my experience with Solar Symphony and would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Not only did Solar Symphony provide one of the most competitive quotes for an excellent solar system but they had excellent customer service and very fast installation! I highly recommend at least getting a quote from them.

I can’t say enough good things about Solar Symphony. When I first got to researching solar, I asked a good friend who he used as I wanted a personal referral. He was a very happy customer and sent me Mark’s contact info at Solar Symphony. I immediately checked their reviews and I was blown away at how high they are. We got our initial quote from Solar Symphony and I also got two others. One other company was highly reviewed as well, but the salesman who visited left several things out of the quote until I asked them about it (Solar Symphony missed nothing). Then the other company said they needed to do additional work (at added expense) to make the project work. When I turned them down to go with Solar Symphony they got downright juvenile. All that time I was getting other quotes, I got no pressure from Solar Symphony at all. I went back and asked for a revised quote for a slightly smaller 5.9kWh system and it was provided without question. Solar Symphony had the best price of all my quotes and the best warranty. I also liked their long company history so I know they will honor their work. The only logical choice was to go with Solar Symphony. They reached each milestone on the project ahead of their projected schedule. Albert and his great group of guys had the system completely installed in 2 days and my entire family felt comfortable with them being there. They went above and beyond in several ways… they patched chipped roof tiles they found during the install, color match painted all of the conduit, and gave me a good inspection of my roof tiles and underlying paper. They even left some extra new roof tiles and color match paint in case I need them later. I still can’t help but notice a friend’s house that has all the conduit unpainted. His solar was installed by SunRun.The city inspection went flawlessly and I didn’t even have to be home which was very convenient. They went above and beyond even at the very end of the process once we received our permission to operate from SDG&E. I was out of town for a weeklong vacation and I thought the system was powered on the day we left, but it wasn’t producing according to the online app. I wasn’t sure I had turned it on correctly, but I had hoped to be producing the week we were gone. I could not check it myself and Bethany had a tech come out Thanksgiving eve to ensure the system was up and running while we were away. He turned on the system and we were producing that day. We live pretty far out in East County which is not very close to Solar Symphony’s main location and I explained I didn’t want anyone to cut into their holiday just to get my system turned on while I was out of town, but she insisted. All that to say, from initial quote, to install, to city inspection, and final walk through, this company has been top notch. They do amazing work and are great at communication. They would be my first choice to anyone getting solar.I love that their advertising is only through word of mouth referrals. You can’t go wrong with that.

Where do we begin... From the top to the bottom Solar Symphony has professionals at every point in the process. Not only did they have the best cost for our particular system, but they went above and beyond at every level.We had several conversations from sales, operations, and the owner and found them to be extremely polite, courteous, honest, responsive and flexible. In addition to setting up the traditional solar, they were able to accommodate my request to install a 240 Volt Charger for our Ford Focus EV.I am the epitome of Analysis Paralysis and finding the right solar company was no exception. After sitting down or talking to 9 different providers, I quickly realized there were two camps: PPA [20-yr lease] pushers and IMO the better option, solar purchase. I was interested in buying the system and obtaining a low interest rate 10 yr loan (Home Equity or Solar) with monthly payments that were lower cost to than our average monthly electric bill.So we were down to about 4 companies that actually wanted to sell the system without leasing. BTW I checked what it would cost to buy the equivalent system from those PPA leasing companies and it turns out it was about a 30-50% premium. yikes. Dont get me wrong, PPAs may make sense for folks who do not have the cash or means to get a low interest long term loan.After narrowing to 4 companies, I then had two friends recommend Solar Symphony, but I already had 4 solid quotes from 4 great solar companies, so I was a little skeptical. Mark, one of Solar Symphonys account managers, was extremely professional and cut through the bologne. Hes able to converse on all levels, but I wanted to know the details basically how much, how long, and when. The major botteleneck in how log as one would suspect is the power company SDGE.Their quote was the best in our case and they agreed to flexible payment options and installing the EV charger at cost.Obviously dont just trust these rave reviews, Go and get quotes from the reputable solar companies and I strongly believe you will find Solar Symphony to the be the lowest cost, highest quality/service companies in San Diego! Thanks Solar Symphony, I no longer pay any electrical bills for the house or my commuter EV car. Our break even is shorter than I expected ~ 6.5 years. AWESOME SAUCE!
