Terrific place to visit if you love cigars and congregating with fellow smokers.

This is only my second stop at this place and I have to say that Im impressed.Now Im not a connoisseur of cigars by any stretch of the imagination, so I cant tell you anything about the relative quality of their selection, but I can tell you that they have a big one. I can also tell you that the staff is super friendly and helpful and that I have been more then happy with the recommendations that theyve given me.More importantly, both of the staff members that are on duty during my visits took their time to ask what I was looking for help me to figure out the best cigars to fit my taste.On a side note that may not be helpful for everyone, I found that this is a great place to relax and get some studying done. When I went the last time, I sat outside by their very pretty koi pond and found the experience to be excellent. I highly recommend this store.

Outstanding place to disappear for the cigar aficionado

Ive been a long time customer of LP since the week it opened. The experience and selection has never stopped improving, on your first visit when you find yourself thinking “this place is perfect” just wait because you will find that your second visit will be even more amazing. They are constantly listening to their customers and getting in new products all the time. JJ, Tom and Nathan are always helpful when it comes to selecting something that fits your style and the customer service is amazing. You will not find another shop in San diego with the same atmosphere and local neighborhood shop feel. And by the way the prices are shocking, best priced inventory I have ever seen.

Great spot to enjoy a cigar from a vast variety of cigars. First time here was an hour prior to closing so it was pretty lonesome definitely planning on coming back to try different cigars. Great outdoor space.

Awesome cigar shop. I am not the most well versed in cigars and the lady who runs it knows her stuff. Shes very willing to help you if needed. The selection is huge and they also have a baller section of smokes, I couldnt imagine spending$80 on 1 cigar... not yet anyways. If you want to feel like a high roller the is a back lounge with personal seating, couches, poker table, a bunch of TVs and big projector. Its only $5 a day or $50 per month.

What an amazing spot. Everything you could possibly ask for in a shop and lounge. Looking for those hard to find Fuentes? Angela probably has them waiting for you. Need a spot to watch the game? This place rocks wish I lived near there but I’m in Texas. I’ve done some mail order with them and like two days it arrives! The owner even gave me her number so I could get my orders quickly, that shows me they care and the selection is incredible!! I’m going to do another order tomorrow!! I don’t get treated the way here as I do there! Trust me you want good cigars and excellent service buy here!!!

This is by far the best cigar lounge in the San Diego and North county area. The selection of cigars and the prices are great! On Saturdays they have BBQ our front. Nathan and Angela are great owners who go out of their way for everyone. The whole staff is awesome. Place is beautiful inside and out.

Great place! The ambiance is second to none. They have this huge koi pond in the front. When you walk in the whole place is one big humidor. They have the best and largest selection of cigars Ive ever seen. In the back they have a member only lounge with a plethora of TVs and comfortable seating. I love this place! I highly recommend!

I have never seen such a large walk in humidor before. The entire store front was a a humidor. So happy that we found this place totally by accident a year or so ago... my husband and I love a good cigar and I’ve always been a big Drew Estate fan - Lord Puffer’s Drew Estate selection is the best and biggest I’ve ever seen! The prices are great and the vibe in there is always welcoming and relaxed. The indoor lounge is spacious and comfy, always full of great people (I’ve run into some downright hostile cigar lounges, this is the total opposite). The outdoor lounge in front is just beautiful for nice days, and lots of weekends they’ll just fire up a grill and have a BBQ! Angela is usually there, ALWAYS smiling and happy, ready to help with absolutely anything you need. We live nearly 2 hours away and still will drive there just to get that experience every now and again despite living close to several shops/lounges. They’re just the best in SoCal, hands down.

Top Notch ServiceI stopped in here for the first time ever yesterday. WOW!Their very knowledgeable staff is as good as advertised. I was assisted by Lynn (I might have her name wrong, sorry if so!), and then by JJ. I am a brand new cigar puffer, and both were extremely helpful and patient, answering all of my questions and making great suggestions. On top of all that, JJ filled my brand new Zippo torch with butane with his own supply, simply as a courtesy to a guy new at the hobby. He even demonstrated how to properly light a stick!Great prices, enormous selection, fantastic customer service. I traveled dow. To Escondido for an event in honor of a friends charity. Lord Puffer is an converted 7-11 which was turned into cigar heaven. Though most of the lounge was closed off because of event, if you smoke any kind of man rolled cigar, this is your place. Packed with user- friendly staffers, equipped with some basic to rare cigars and armed with plenty of room to suit any cigar enthusiast.
