Every aspect of the installation was friendly, professional and easy. We were able to schedule the first appointment quickly and the new frame and screen were installed in less than 40 minutes. I love my double doors that lead out from my dining room on to my back patio. If I could keep these doors open all-day, everyday, all-year long it wouldnt be enough. The cool ocean breeze is wonderful, goes right through, until late summer when mosquitoes start finding their way into my house, and june bugs and flies, the list goes on. I have neighbors on my row of townhomes downtown that told me they purchased their disappearing screen doors for 1/2 the price. I think one was from Home Depot. Both of them are on their 3rd door with one in 4 and the other in 6 years and they don’t look anywhere near as nice as clear view. They don’t work as well either.Best investment I’ve made for my townhouse. Strongly recommend!!!

It was our fault that he dog ruined initially cuz we were not used to it at first forgetting it was close...., SO the company came out and repaired it for us w/ a discount. We had roller shades installed on two sliding doors and two windows. We love them. Easy to raise and lower, block just the right amount of light and they are clean and simple (the way we like it). We also had retractable screens installed on the two sliders. Very nice quality and their minimal size and color/finish blend in perfectly with our doors. You wouldnt know they are there. No complaints at all. We would use HIS again in a heartbeat. Their installers are efficient and knowledgeable.

Horrible experience that was almost have caused severe injury or even a death!!!! Everything was smooth from the price negotiations to scheduling a date for the installation. I was on strict timeline and needed the installation to be done in a timelymanner. They were prompt in satisfying that. However, everything started to go down the hill from there. We wanted to get a motorized screen to cover our California room. They installed the unit as planned. In less than 5 minutes after the installation, the whole unit fell apart and hit the ground. Luckily neither of my kids nor my wife were in the immediate area otherwise it would have caused severe head injury due to the heavy weight of the unit. I expressed my frustration to the technician who responded that this never happened to them before and he stated that the unit was a faulty. This explanation even made me more angry!! How could you install something without inspect it and check for its functionality before installing it risking others life in such way. Thats completely was unacceptable. When I ask Christian who seemed to be their top technician that I needed to to talk to the owner, he stated that he was the boss and whatever he says would happen. They havent apologized and acted as if it was nothing. He tried to downplay their negligence. I received another phone call from him stating that they would ask for a speedy rush for the screen that was damaged, but the motor would take a couple of weeks/months to be delivered. They could not provide me with a date considering the fact that I was under time restrictions. He didnt even show any kind of professionalism or courtesy to offer any kind of compensation, which I wasnt looking for, for the delay and the incident they have caused. Instead, he said we already offered you a discounted rate before. I was able to get a hold of the owner who backed up his employee rather than satisfying the customer. I asked for a full refund and fixing the holes they made drilling into the wall. He refunded me the money but refused to fix the wall as it was before the drilling. Instead, they only filled the wall with silicon resulting in mismatch to the color of my wall. I wouldnt recommend them at all!! It seems the over confidence got them to lose track of paying attention to the little details that might cause a severe injury.

We installed 3 of the retractable screen doors a couple of weeks back, just in time for a particularly long hot spell in our area. Being able to open up a cross draft in our home without worrying about bugs or neighborhood cats finding their way in is fabulous. We are thrilled with the product. When they are retracted they are almost invisible. When they are in use they perform perfectly. What else can one ask for? We are thinking about installing one more of these screen doors. Highly recommended!

When I eventually scheduled the install it was within 3 weeks. The install was quick and painless there technician was clean, courteous and fast. I had retractable screen doors installed on both a single door and double doors, over a month ago now. Im loving them. They really offer a clear view (with the only downside that my kids have run into them a few times - but theyre sturdy!!). They simple to use and have allowed us to keep our doors open and let a breeze through. Theyre awesome.

I brought my first ClearView slider about 10 years ago, when I was shopping around, I had gone to HD and Lowes, what was interesting was the displays showing sliders were broken, not a good sign.I looked up Clearview from their advertising.Well 10 years later, I needed a repair to my screen, called ClearView, they came out within days, repaired, and serviced my screen.You will pay a little more, but to have something this long and used so much, was worth every penny.You are bot saving anything by buying cheaper. I love having the retractable screen door. I bought this a couple of years ago and it is well made. The only bad thing about retractable screen doors is that people walk right into them like I did to mine. I replaced the screen for about $100. I then tried decals for these screens but they were small and not very visible. They also eventually fell off. So I came up with the best solution......duct tape. Since I had a white screen door, I put a piece of white duct tape horizontally across the mid section. It looks like it came with the screen door. It has stayed on very well, no one walks into it, and it is clearly visible. It also looks great.

The screens are very fine. They are almost invisible and take very little space. The retraction mechanisms are somewhat variable--some a bit strong and others a bit weak, but they all work well. The installation took longer than expected, but the installer was careful. Some of the screens had two handles even though they should have had one. The installer returned with the appropriate retractors and made the replacements quickly and well. All in all, a good product with good service.

We have had the retractable screen door or 7 years now. It works terrifically. Weve never had an issue and it has required essentially no maintenance. The companys customer service has been highly responsive. I highly recommend both the company and their products.

We absolutely love our screen door! Installer was very courteous and professional and it looks great. I wanted to wait a few months to ensure the quality remained the same as it was just after installation, and it’s perfect, still. The screen lets in so much fresh air and cross breeze eliminating how much we have to use our AC. The retractability of the screen is such an awesome feature.

One time a worker on a project broke the screen. I called for a repair, sent pictures, and set up an appointment. HIS sent along a video of how to self repair it. About a month ago I noticed my neighbor had a new screen on his front door. Its one of the retractable type, however its like looking through a sheet of glass and not a screen. Its NOT a security screen. Ive got other neighbors who have similar screens but complain that their toddlers and easily press on it and the screen retracts. We love our Clearview screen door. The retractable style works great with our HOA restrictions. We get positive comments from our neighbors whenever they visit, if they even notice it there at all. The durability is great, as it’s been “walked through” a couple of times with no damage. It just snaps back into place.The guys at HIS did a great job installing it and even came out to make sure it was opening and closing smoothly a couple of years later.

Very professional and definitely the best quality retractable screen on the market. I have used other companies and their pull bars are flimsy. Clear view has strong and sturdy pull bars and better screens. I would only use them in the future.

This company seems to be on top of their customer service. My experience with their salesperson and installer (Isaiah) were excellent. They solved my problems with my old retractable door hitting my doorknob when they installed the new screen on the outerside of my door frame. It feels must sturdier than my old retractable screen. Had one installed a couple years ago. Regular screen door was not installed properly, and was not the average size, making it a difficult fit. Very satisfied with the product, although, there’s a small separation by the handle ( my kids pulled on hadle incorrectly).

I tried to post a 10 second video from our security camera but you will just have to take my word for it! These doors are miraculous - and have withstood beach/salt air, grandkids and many comings and goings. Stay in their tracks and move easily back and forth. We had an attempted break-in over Cinco D Mayo weekend, and a large fellow threw his weight against it and the glass French door numerous times and while it yawned and stretched, it sprung back and never came loose! Weve had other screen doors in the past (on the front door is an old Phantom retractable screen door) and on our back door we have a Mirage retractable screen door. We like the Mirage, and the door quality is nice, but it really slams hard if you dont guide it all the way to closed position. We decided to give ClearView a try because the door has a soft close feature and otherwise looks very similar to other retractable screen doors. The process from start to finish was very easy. Called them to have someone come out to give me a quote, and they were able to get a sales rep out within a couple days. He came, measured etc and gave me our options for door handle type, lock options, etc then gave a quote and info I needed about the door, install, etc. We agreed on was best for us and I gave them a $200 deposit via credit card (be aware they do charge a small percentage fee if you want to pay with credit card, but I was ok with that) and we scheduled the install. They were about 2 weeks out for install (which they said was about usual) so just dont think youre going to get a new screen door from them in a couple days. So we set up a time for about 2 weeks out and they gave me the name of the installer, who for us was Isaiah C. 2 days before the appt they called me with a reminder, then Isaiah called 30 min before his arrival for a heads up that he was en route. He showed up right on time and proceeded to uninstall the existing screen door (which is included in the price) and installed the new door in about an hour total time. He also hauled away the old screen which was great because it was a piece of junk! Isaiah did a great job with the install and before leaving, showed us all the features of the door an how to operate and maintain it. Id definitely get another ClearView screen door and recommend to others.
