Still here but so far things seem fine. My free AAA summer check up found a few items that needed attention. Kind of expected something to be found. Ive been scammed in the past, ( or i should say they tried to scam me while living in new york). Hoping the nice people Im meeting in California are kind and trustworthy. So far so good. We took our 2001 Dodge Duelly in because the a/c quit working. They said we have a leak in our lines. We had them replaced. It worked one time and quit again. They said we need to replace the heater core, we did. Same story. We took it in again, they said wiring touching compressor, no good. So we had that replaced. Havent checked it out yet, but after $5000$, I sure hope it works when we need it.

This auto repair shop has the most honest and knowledgeable team in the San Diego North County area. No sales pressure, no scare tactics, no treating you like you dont know anything, no cheating customers for repairs they dont need. Very fair labor rates and they use genuine parts. They know the business and they know cars and trucks. Our family has been going to them for more than 20 years. I first met Jim the owner as a teenager in the 80s when he was managing a tire business. He is an icon in this business and had a great team. You dont run businesses for 40 years within blocks of each other unless you are honest and well respected. Escondido Auto Tech is the best around. AAA rating!

Great guys. I stopped by with a vague issue and they scheduled an appointment right away for a diagnostic. Dropped it off and had the diagnostic finished within an hour and a half. Work was all finished in under 5 hours same day.Very friendly and answered all of my stupid questions. Also handled drop off and pick up via Uber. I will be coming back 100%

A month ago I took my 1999 Saturn in for its smog test, periodic lube, oil and filter service, plus a brake check. George, a service manager, called to alert me to a couple of minor items they found while doing their regular car servicing check - a rear brake light bulb was out and the windshield wipers were deteriorating. He asked me if I wanted them to take any action on these items. I had known about the wipers but not the brake light. There was no pressure from George, and I could have done the repairs if I chose to. This was just an example of the thorough, professional approach they use that has kept me bringing in my 2 cars the past 2 years since I discovered them.

An amazing experience all around. After a very disappointing experience at another local shop I was not sure where to turn or who to trust. From the first conversation with Jim I felt very comfortable and confident. They never tried to upsell me and kept me informed at all times. Jim went above and beyond all my expectations. On Wednesday the 15th, my husband and I were in Murrieta when our car started acting up. We drove to Escondido (where we live) and took it to E.A.T. My husband went in and asked Frank if they could look at it. Frank said they were busy, but would try and fit it in. We were told they might need to keep it over night and Jim (owner) took us home. I stated that this was my birthday and what a way to spend it. Frank called and let us know the problem and we authorized the work. To our surprise, we got a call at 5:15 that our car was done. My husband got picked up by Jim and paid for the car ($200 less than estimate) and drove the car home. When he got home, he told me there was something in the car for me. I went out and in the passenger seat, strapped in, was a bouquet of flowers for me. That speaks volumes to the care that the staff displays to their customers and I cant speak enough good things about their character and their work.

Ive had two major repairs done to my 2002 Chevy Surburban with E.A.T. in last 4 years. First one was multiple problems, fuel pump dead, right mirror remote control dead, ABS system was dead, the Auto Idle Control dead, and the A/C damper controls dead. It was a lot of work and materials to be replaced. That was 4 years ago and vehicle had 120,000 miles on it at the time. Everything they did was very professional and no more problems 4 years later. The more recent repair was a month ago, the A/C compressor died at 144,000 miles. They told me the lowest and higest amount it would cost to put it back to factory specs. It works better than new and was fortunate that I did not damage the A/C system more once I heard the chattering noise, so my costs came in under the minium bid. Im a very hapy customer. It is near impossible to find real mechanics today. I know they like to be called technicians now-a-days, but I am old school from a long line of ancestrial mechanics. It pays to use the best

I had a electrical problem with one of my fuses,, in a few short hours they determind it was caused by a part that was part of a recall, they called the Dealer to see if my truck was covered at it was,, so I took it there and it was fixed for free! They could of charged me for the work however,, they took the steps needed to help resolve the problem at no addional cost to me,,, Thank you so much,, I will always use this shop for all my repairs!

Everyone that I have worked with at this auto body shop have been nothing but professional and knowledgeable during each encounter. I had to come down to have my car fixed and inspected. They made sure that they had a rental ready for me if need be. Very friendly team they have there.
