We came in to get an oil change on our truck we were able to sit in there waiting room which is spacious and have a nice coffee while we waited. Alex was super nice let us know that we had a recall on our truck and gave us an estimate of when we could get it done. All around best ford service weve received.
Just can not have a satisfactory service here. Just doesn’t make sense. An oil change and changing a front head light a 7 hour day with no explication? No car given? No updates given when said they would. Literally no answers other than “you are right that is a long time for that” but literally why? Always just a super inconvenience coming here for the oil changes. If we didn’t already purchase them when buying the truck we wouldn’t ever go here. Never had any issues with services at other dealerships before we went to Ford. Wish we could have that service back. Maybe we can try a different Ford and have a better service. Definitely next time

I called to get a tire replaced. The parts department orders the tire and said it would be in at 5am the next day. The parts guy I spoke with transferred me tk the service department so I could schedule and appointment for the next day. I speak with a service advisor who sets me up for 8:30am.A short time later I get and email and text telling me the appointment is for 7:20. I call back to ask what happened and no one knew, just that it was put into the system for 7:20. Fine. I show up at that time and the tire is not in. It should be in @9. I go home and they will call me when it gets there.I get a call @9:15 that the tire is in so I head over. Takes them about an hour to do and when theyre done it turns out the machine scratched the rim. I was told by the service manager (Mike?) they have a wheel guy and they will call me when they know the next time he is supposed to be there. And that if it cant be fixed they will make it right, that they stand by their work.Of course as soon as I got home I realized my mistake was I didnt get any of this in writing. This all happened 2 days ago so well see how this plays out.UPDATE 10/6/21: How about you actually call and give me an update when my wheel will he fixed, rather than post here asking if you can call so you get good optics.

Can honestly say this was the worst experience I’ve ever had with a car dealership. Called the service department on a Monday morning and spoke with Shannon. I explained to her that my window regulator had broken and I had gotten a emissions recall. I then proceeded to explain to her that I live in the Palm Springs area but work in Escondido during the week and that I stay in my travel trailer at night. I explained to her that the repairs had to be done in one day. She scheduled my appointment for 8:30am on Wednesday saying they would have to diagnose the window problem first and then bring it back to actually fix it. The morning I dropped it off was a good indicator of how Shannon treats her customers. 000000 Customer Service Points! I asked her if they could at least do the recall and she said yes and told me I’d hear something by 4:00. So at 4:05 I get back in my work truck and see where Shannon had left a message saying “ Hi it’s Shannon and we didn’t touch your truck today and we close at 6. No Apologies, No, Hey can we set up another appointment, how can we make this right. Called Leon the Service Manager to complain and he told me he was going to look into it. Haven’t heard from anyone. I immediately called my local dealer I go to, Palm Springs Ford and he went out of his way to get me in Friday morning and had it done by noon. That’s true customer service!!!Will NEVER go back to or recommend Gosch Ford.

My Service Representative, Shannon Medina, was excellent. She was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. At every step of the way, Shannon kept me informed of the progress of the service being performed. When the spray truck bed liner was completed, she made it a point to call me and tell me how great it looked. When it came time to install the bed cover, Shannon wasted no time in contacting me with some bad news: the bed cover that had been received was damaged, the damage was unacceptable in her opinion, and that she had already ordered another cover. She then apologized on behalf of herself, and Gosch Ford, for the delay this had caused. I recently retired from a leading technology company after spending 39 years in their industry leading Customer Service organization, with the last 10 spent in their Global Support Operations group, and I can tell you this: Shannon gets it. She understands what Customer Satisfaction means, and how to go about delivering the service in a way that will ensure high marks in that area. Great job Shannon!! Thank you.
Online appointment making allowed me to make an appointment on a Saturday which is when there are the least amount of techs. Had to wait till Tuesday, but still got good service when I dropped off my car.Had to call to get info due to busy afternoon. Van is awesome and very helpful where it counts though, earned yall a 4 star.

The actual service was nice and quick. I received my car promptly and everything looks great. However Cameron who attended me at first was very rude and quite short with his answers. I went in for my first complimentary service and from the beginning he didnt seem like he wanted to help me. He told me in a short, condescending tone that it wasnt free. It wasnt until I showed him the email proving that I did have a free service that he changed his tone very quickly. Unsure if it was a bad day for him or not but it was rude and uncalled for. It might be time for a refresher on customer service.

They have hands down the best Service Department in San Diego. The Service Manager Tony seems to be a hands on manager who took a personal interest in my repair. I worked with Josh and let me tell you he is the best. He kept me up to date on the entire process and provided options to stay cost effective. I have used these guys a few times, and its always the same positive result. Recently I had to use a competitor and it wasnt even close. I highly recommend using Gosch Ford Service Department for all your service needs!!

I drop off my truck by 0700 in dealer. My service Advisor Shannon Medina was really professional and helpful. She called a Lyft for me to drop me off at my house, and she called another left to pick me up from my house. all this process was taking about two hours. she did amazing job with my truck and she gave me all the detailed information about my next service. as a customer I cannot be more happy than this. Big shout out to Ford dealership and I would like to thank you the management that they are taking care of customers.
My truck unexpectedly had a check engine light 2 days before we were supposed to leave for Utah. Hutch at Gosch Ford of Escondidos Service department plugged my truck in and read the engine codes late on a Saturday afternoon. Multiple engine misfires 😡. He was able to get me an appointment for 7:00 a.m. Monday morning before my trip. Van, my service advisor, went above and beyond! Amazing service and a much lower price than originally quoted. Even got me a complimentary rental (2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E. SOOOO NICE!) So I could drive home (which is 40 minutes away). Now my truck is good to go for my Utah trip. Me and my family thank you Gosch Ford of Escondido.
I purchased a Ford Transit 2020 from this place. I submitted my review for Ford.com but they did not publish it because it was a one star.Two main reasons for one star:1. They sold me a car without passenger seat. I thought I can install a seat. When I went to pick up the car, they told me it doesn’t have any passenger airbags. Factory removed them! If they have told me I would never buy this car. It is not safe to operate.2. I it took them one 8 days to finish the paper work for my car, and they only did it because I keep following up with them.3. I purchase that car remotely, by phone. We agreed one a price that was 300$ less than MSRP. They called me after a while saying that somebody else is willing to buy the car for the whole MSRP price and I need to pay the full price if I want it. Who changes his word for 300$, one a 50+K$ car?4. They removed a 1$ Funnel in the car to fill it from a canister. In my way home, I ran out of gas. I went to a gas station and filled a canister and came back then I couldn’t find the funnel to fill the tank and had to wait a long time for road side assistant.5. The passenger door on my brand new 2020 car rattled sometime and you have to open and close it several times to fix this. Need to the new car to the dealership6. The MPG is way lower than what advertised
Staffing is terrible....I purchased a vehicle from in 2018, I had to bring it back several times for warranty, each time I was met with friction from a guy named Hutch. I will never buy another vehicle from Gosch, the staff is terrible. Hutch treated my wife so low. The staff is rude, forgetful, disrespectful, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Dont buy Gosch they are happy to sell you a car but when you have a problem the staff will act like you are a problem. I got nothing but push back. It took me having to write for a letter and talking with the CEO in order to get my warranty taken care of. Despicable.

If youre female, choose another shop to service your Ford.As I sat ignored, the concierge approached a gentleman to see what she could do for him. Another gentleman was offered coffee, or water, or anything else. I remained ignored. When mens cars were complete they were approached and notified. My name was yelled across the room.If youre a guy, great, youll be fine.They have several opportunities to choose your service rep... If its Van he just asks someone else to check you in. The check in guy was nice- I didnt catch his name but he had a long beard.The post service car wash isnt a wash, its a rinse.Oh, and they buy good reviews. Ask me how to get a free Starbucks drink! The answer is to leave a 5 star review.

Unbelievable!!After getting a maintenance agreement and using it for 2 years, I take my car in for the service to find out the agreement has been cancelled. They tell me since it wasn’t included in the original sale it isn’t valid.I have a signed agreement and they tell me it invalid.This place is a joke, the finance manager tells me since I don’t have a letter person that gave me the signed contract, that the actual contract is void.Avoid Gosch Ford!!!
This place (service dept.) is run very badly! I had my car taken there for PPI. I asked for few additional items and Shannon told me shed include those too, no problem right. When I was trying to pick up my car the same day, I called the service dept. 7 times; no one picked up. Each time I was transfer to an advisors voicemail! Finally spoke to the main hub of the dealership franchise, they were able to get me lyft to pick up my car. When picking up, my advisor wasnt there. Another gentleman told me Shannon will email me the reports I asked first thing in the morning, 2 days later still nothing! Tried calling again got connected to Hemet dealership who told me she tried contacting Gosch service herself and got voicemail every time. I wanted to speak to the service manager at Gosch but she told me he quit few weeks ago. I am not surprised at all. This place needs a complete management overhaul to bring it up to par with others. I have a preorder for Bronco through here, but I am going to change it to another Ford dealer.

Purchased a new 2020 Mustang GT yesterday and was truly pleased with the entire purchase experience. Salesman Mike Castillo did a phenomenal job, as did all other staff I dealt with. I was given a fair price on my trade in and purchased the Mustang through the Costco auto buying program so there was no haggling on the price and I was given the sale price over the phone before even going to the dealership. It was one of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. I highly recommend Gosch Ford of Escondido for anyone looking to buy a Ford.

Got service done today. Very easy. Checked in in person, then did all paperwork via my phone. All communications done via text. Pretty cool. Got a Lyft home and back. Best experience I have had here not to say it was bad before. Things just got better.

Today has been a doozy I went to a different dealer ship and the sales person was ready to have me sign papers for a car I was not really wanting. Just because it had so many discounts. I went to Ford in Escondido, I walked in and Sean Sweeney was every so happy to help us. He was kind and fast. He was not pushy at all. In fact he was very chill. Made this whole experience unforgettable its a purchase. Not one that should be pushed on. My most favorite was he let me take the car for an hour test drive. No question no pushing. Just drive and see if it fit you. I fell in love and financing was no issue. Very fast and I have low credit score.

Called the very next morning as agreed to only to be told that the card sold!STAY AWAY!! Do NOT trust this dealership. Over promises under delivers. NO communication and will change terms without telling you. Double check all your contracts. Watch out for shady tactics! This is one of those shady dealerships that bait and switch. BE VERY CAREFUL, I escalated to upper manager and they dont care either so from sales to management.

They met my requirements, found me the perfect car, didnt question why I wanted certain features or try to talk me out of them. They were all so genuine and friendly. Coming in having issues with my car not knowing what to expect, Rachael Koszewski walk me through the process of eating my options of rather I should keep my car that’s starting to required a lot of out of pocket maintenance. She help me find a car that is my style for with an awesome deal. She made me feel welcome and at home and didn’t hide anything from me and told me the truth about the situation with my car.
