Cant get enough of Funky Donkey (a glorious peanut butter fudgey concoction) and my fiancè loved the vegan Pina Colada and sherbet options. Fun little shop with interesting flavors; cool place to grab a local treat!

Wow! Over half the bins of ice cream were empty and the kid serving was more interested in socializing with his friends than serving customers.The selection of ice cream was pretty much limited to sorbets or vanilla ice cream.I know this is a local family business so it is disappointing to see such poor selection/service.Update: Thank you June! I did submit more information via the company webpage. I am sorry to hear that there were electrical issues. I feel as though if there had been a sign explaining the limited selection, customers would have completely understood. Glad to hear the issue was resolved.

Amazing service (they let us into the store even though we showed up right when it was about to close) and interesting flavors! Some favorites were the vegan chocolate, funky donkey (pb with Oreo) and banana pudding.

Rarely do I go to ice cream shops because of peanut and tree nuts allergies with my son, but there was the block party going on at the time( very busy) and our friends were getting ice cream cones so I gave it a try. Marcus was amazing he listened to my son’s allergy dilemma and before he went to the back of the store to use a never open ice cream container; he patiently asked my son what flavor he wanted, he said Cookie dough.Marcus came back and told my son that they didn’t have that one, but they had Ahoy cookies and cream, my son was so excited to have some other flavor of ice cream other than vanilla that he said with the biggest smile YES !Great job and amazing customer service Marcus! Good ice cream, not mind blowing, but a solid choice. Not a bunch of flavor choices, but enough to get you thinking. Ice cream had great texture and a good balance of toppings inside. Connected to a brewery, ample seating. I would go again for sure.

We picked his bakery because it was close and convenient to make a birthday cake for my four-year-old twins. Unfortunately from the start the process it was very disappointing. I came instead of an order about three weeks before the party. I did not hear back from them and had to follow up with them a week before the party. When I finally got touch with somebody they assured me they could get the cake to look just like a picture I had shown them ( a round cake with an upside down ice cream cone, looking like it was dripping ). However, when the cake was delivered part of the cake was damaged, and there was no ice cream cone on top dripping off. I was so disappointed with the way it looks I asked for them to take it back and at least put the ice cream cone on top and to write happy birthday. When they returned an hour later after the party had already started it looked as if my four-year-old had actually written happy birthday and again the cone on top still looked nothing like what they said they could do. In fact with the delivery the first time the man was somewhat rude when I expressed my concerns about the cake. It was also not cheap. It was $55 and I was expecting something of that a professional would produce. I was trying to support my local business and was excited for the cake they promised to deliver however as I mentioned above we were anything but impressed and actually we didnt even end up using it I was so embarrassed by how it looked. I would not recommend the bakery for its custom cakes. I was overall disappointed with the whole experience from the ordering to the finished product and shouldve known something was not right with the lack of communication from the get-go.

Sweets is our favorite local place to get some tasty ice cream. It shares a space with The Old Mine next door so you can easily come here for sweet fix after the savory dinners at old Mine.I prefer the milkshakes and they always have several good and interesting flavors on tap.Definitely a great after dinner stop for those looking for a final little sweet touch.

They have a lot of revolving flavors, so there is always something new to try! My favorite is the Key Lime Pie! They are very clean and nice, and are good about letting the kids try a sample so they can be sure to get something they like (not that my kids have met an icecream they didnt like). I wish they still served food or maybe sodas. I think they might still have coffee.

Eries favorite ice cream place! They serve a wide variety of ice cream flavors here. Although they downsized and offer less items such as coffee and pastries, Sweets is still a wonderful place to take you and your family!

This used to be our go to ice cream spot. They recently remodeled to make room for the cider part of the business, now its so small they can only fit a few tables... there is not even a spot big enough to fit my family at the same table. They did not add tables outside either, so there is really no good places to sit and enjoy your time.

I love this place. Amazing ice cream, flavors constantly rotating. Delicious burritos, get em before theyre gone. Just had my first sandwich, perfect. Free wifi, plenty of outlets, wonderful atmosphere. Board games man!! Such nice people. I hope this is the kind of business that Erie will support and keep around.

People are crazy. This place is really awesome and unique! The staff is also very wonderful ♡♡♡ And the ice cream? As the kids say, lit af. Im telling you just go and try it yourself, contemplate all of lifes beauty, and enjoy some good ice cream.

We appreciate the local business + custom flavors. There is something for everyone. Fairly priced. Nice enough staff. HUGELY DISAPPOINTED that this business throws away their baked goods nightly. I am elated that they are baked fresh, but upset that they would be so wasteful. There are local places to donate your day-old goods to!

Needed to meet some folks at a neutral location; they chose Sweets because it had some cushioned chairs and a couch. Unfortunately that seemed to be as good as it got. The coffee was fair at best and the place was just annoyingly penetrated with flies. They were all around.

So my brothers and I visited Sweets and of course, wanted ice cream. Its about 2:30pm on a Sunday and on the door the sign says closed but one of the doors is opened and there is someone at the register.Theres a walkway entry nearby and I assume its a separate room. In the other room, I guess there was a wedding celebration of some sort BUT I must say... I thought it was ridiculous that the person working at the time refused to give us ice cream because of the private event. We wanted to get out ice cream and be on our way. The private event was in ANOTHER room. Barely anybody was even in the front by the entryway.

This is a cute little shop that has a few games and things for you to play while you eat ice cream which is great for the kids. The ice cream is good, but their Death By Chocolate flavor is outta this world. If you are a chocolate fan, you have to order it.

I called the supplier of Little Man ice cream and all but Space Junkie are naturally colored and flavored!I took my kids there a couple of weeks ago and there were all sorts of flavors that they tried and loved making the decision of what to get especially difficult!!THANK YOU THANK YOU to the owners who brought back the small-town, family-friendly feel to our favorite ice cream shop!!Now well have to drive from Firestone (since we moved out of Erie a little over a year ago)...but itll be WELL WORTH IT!!Were back to being devoted fans of SWEETS ICE CREAM!!!Now to have a serious talk about the pralines and cream...----------------------------------Reply to owners response:I will happily give Sweets another try! It went from five stars to one and heres why.If you are a foodie, a stereotypical Millennial, then this ice cream shop is now 100% for you. Sadly, its no longer for my family. The flavors that they changed to are the weird, mint and cucumber variety that appeals to a very different crowd.I took my daughter in probably a year ago now (could they have changed back to normal flavors since? Yes...Ill eventually meander in to look), she tasted four or five flavors and we left without purchasing anything.My kids no longer ask to go. I am heartbroken.-----------------------------------------------------Oh, how I love Sweets! Let me count the ways!First, they hire high schoolers and give many of them their first jobs! Without fail?Third, most of their flavors are without noxious, petroleum-based artificial colors and flavors (how much vasoline do YOU like in your food?)!
