Now as far as standing by their products I think Litehouse needs to find a different supplier. I’ve had a pool for 20 years now I needed to replace my winter cover last year and purchased it from them. Only to find when we put it on this year water came right right through it there are thousands of small holes through out the entire cover it is clearly a DEFECT in the cover it’s throughout the entire top. They will not cover it saying it is puncture holes! So I now need to purchase a new winter cover. Even after reading what the warranty covers it should b covered. They will not even look at it only the pictures that I had to send. I won’t be buying anything else now from them I will find a new place or order online. I’m disappointed This is poor customer service I will be passing this on to all my pool friends here in Erie. OK NOW UPDATE: called the district manager! Couldn’t of been nicer! Offered me 25% off a new cover. Would of liked to have gotten my money refunded but I understand because the manufacturer did not reimburse. At least he offered to do something and was very nice. Great customer service! Thank you AL!
I have to agree with some of the reviews about their customer service. I have dealt with three of their employees and Ive had good customer service from one, Deb. While my hot tub took FOREVER to arrive, she remained patient and helpful. When I call, I only speak to her. I got a great deal on my hot tub so it was worth the experience. I give this place three stars simply because one of their employees carries the weight of them all in regards to customer service. If it were Deb handling everything, I would give it five stars.
I ordered a pool from Litehouse and it was installed today. Could not be more pleased. My last pool was also from them and lasted 22 years! Great installers today.

The women Deb that helped us while inquiring quotes on pools was very nice and informative. Up until I found out after researching the products we were going to buy from here. That they get paid to sell cartridge filters. When in fact sand filters are easier to maintain and less expensive compared to the cartridge filters. I will never buy anything from here, EVER! You’d think they would tell the customer what’s best instead of pushing stuff onto us because they get paid. Happy customers become repeat customers. Very sad they lied to us. We chose to go with Colleys pools and spa.

**See Update** Deb has been very helpful and responsive to all our needs, have done business with them and i will definitely be doing more business with them moving forward*update* Turns out Deb and the entire company could care less about the customers after the sale is made. Guess thats what you get with commission sales. came broken on day one. Water feature is inoperable. its been two months and its still broken as of July 20th, 2021, and not one time has Deb or anyone from Litehouse called to update me or ask if the issue has been solved. mind you i spent $16,000. They got the sale and the money and they turn into ghosts. Do yourself a favor and shop directly at Youngs Hottub Sales in Union City, they are who does all repairs for the junk Litehouse sells. They have a great showroom and good quality products.

Bought the Dominica pool ladder, we were only able to see it on an associates phone. He claimed it was a great ladder and has it on his pool! As there were no brochures to look at other ladders we went ahead and ordered... what a mistake it is absolutely junk! To top it off you have to fill the ladder with sand. No one said anything about sand. We will never go back!

Not recommended. I bought a used hot tub from an individual. Went there to buy filters and a chemical start up kit and some advice. Seconds after walking in I knew I was in wrong place. Took the old filter in with me. Told the guy I needed two of these. He looks at me n asks if I have the filter number. I said no. I have the filter right here. He says well there’s 1000s of filters I need a filter number. I said what about the number right here on filter? He told me he cannot read it. So I read it to him. We go over n find one. I say I need two. He says oh you might be out of luck. So we go back to counter number he measures the filter n says it’s not the right one because the center hole is half inch bigger. I took the tape measure and measured it myself and it was in a 1/16 of an inch. I had to show him how to use a tape measure. I then ask for a chemical start up kit for all the chemicals and test strips I need. And possibly a cleaner. He tries to sell me a floating ball that you put chlorine in. Good thing I did research before hand. I’ve never had a hot tub and knew more than this guy did. What a joke.
I wouldnt purchase from here in the future. Had to make a return on a defective chair and did not go smooth.
Never buy from this company they do not stand behind there products we bought a pool in 2016 and it has rusted all the way through and they blaming us for poor upkeep because we didn’t buy are pool products from them
We went to Litehouse to find replacement cartridges for our Frog Pool System, and they were very knowledgeable about how it worked, and the type of cartridges we would need! The person who helped us was great at explaining everything, and she was very nice as well! The cartridges were also much less expensive than any place we looked at online, and even better priced if bought in bulk. We definitely will be coming back to buy from Litehouse! Thanks for everything!
We ordered a pool 2 1/2 weeks ago, they told us it was in the warehouse and would be there on the first wednesday. No one called us to tell us, they forgot to put it in the truck, so the second Wednesday, today. Part of our pool is in but not the liner and pump. We have installers who were suppose to start our pool a week ago. Not very happy, right now, but they did cash our check right away.
My wife and I walked in close to closing time which we were aware of and was not going to keep them. We just wanted a little information to get started of what we thought we wanted. After we were looking at the sides of the pools we asked a worker if they had brochures or if someone could help us real quick. Waited a few minutes. Which is fine. But when the assistant manager approached us he was very arrogant when yelling to us what size pool do you want? We said really not sure would depend on a couple things. He said, well that’s the only way we can start this conversation. Then he goes into his product demonstration that he was talking so fast he could barely breath. Then he goes into well you guys have never owned a pool there a lot of work and on and on. Well, my friend we are buying a pool and it won’t be from you because of your attitude. Take your customers serious and spend 2 mins after 8:00 to give us the information we stopped in for. You spent more time rushing us out of there then just listening to us and giving us the information we stopped in for would have taken less then half the time.
We use lighthouse pools for all of our pool needs. Deb is great! She always greets you with a smile and will help you with whatever concerns or help you may need. She is knowledgeable and takes the time with customers.
I ordered 3 jets for my hot tub and had to pay for them I was told another store had them in stock I call them a month later and they told me the other store counted wrong and did not have them so thay had to order them well its been 3 months no jets and every time I call there is no answer this is the second tub I bought from them I guess this is how they treat repete customers
We purchased a hot tub from them we live 45 minutes away ! We’ve had issues since day 1 they told us to look on you tube for taking care of our issues ! I do not recommend this place ! Service is terrible ! They can’t wait to take your 8k and don’t want to service you ! Very disappointed
Buying a pool from litehouse has been a horrible experience. Buying the pool was easy. After purchasing it was delivered and placed in my garage where is has been sitting for 6 weeks. At first I was told they were coming to put it in the end of may then I was told their installer quit then I was told just kidding they will be there the beginning of june then I was called by an installer and he said june 29th. When I tried to.confirm with litehouse that someone was coming the 29th I was told no he is not and they dont know when he is coming.. excuse me? Is this how you run your buisness? Why on earth would anyone buy anything from you.. if you google litehouse reviews you will see this is how they operate!! Unacceptable stay far away from them!!
Best place to buy a hot tub or pool. They have great customer service! I would suggest seeing Deb. She will always go out of her way to make your purchasing experience the best! She is super friendly and kind and cares a lot about her customers! They will always have my business and Deb will always be my go to for any questions and chemicals I purchase for my spa.
On a recent visit to the store we had a very good customer experience for myself, my mother and even my 4 year old son. Dominick was helpful, professional and patient while purchasing a patio set. We will be back!

Although the sales reps will tell you that about 2 weeks after receiving the pool installation will take place....this is not correct I have had my pool sitting in the garage for approximately 2 months still have not received a call for installation and store is not returning my calls....before making the choice of lighthouse pool look at other local companies and their reviews
Great pool & spa store, they offer free water testing which saves you $10, and their own brand of spa chemicals that are as good as the name brand. Very knowledgeable employees that take their tone to explain things to you. Even thought I did not but my current hottub from them, I well buy my buy my next from them.
Nothing but helpful here, especially Deb. They always test my water for my spa and pool and never force purchases. Bought a real pool last summer and they were so helpful with our first closing last fall.
We started looking for a pool in November so that we could get it installed in time for my son to have a pool party on his birthday in June. We were told if we bought it now they would guarantee installation by the end of May. I asked if we just needed to pay a deposit, but I was told the entire needed to be paid upfront [ which I later found out was illegal to charge the entire labor amount up front ). We paid the entire amount and patiently waited for the snow to go away.We were first contacted by the installer to discuss their process and additional tasks. They could do. He gave us a price on installing a deck and hooking up electric. We agreed to his price on both mostly out of ease since we wouldnt need to hire other trades. All in for the electric, deck, and pool was going to be a little under $14,000 which I felt would be enough of a reason to get them to start the job.Our first scheduled install date was May 2nd. I received a call on the 1st at 8:00 at night informing me they would be here the next morning at 7am. I asked if they work in the rain since that was forecasted and he said they would. I called off work that morning, an hour later they called off. After this I had 3 more dates scheduled, the last being the 31st of May. All three days I took off work, all 3 days no one showed up and I received no phone call.At this point I went back to the store to complain hoping someone would call the installer and put pressure on him to get my pool done. Instead I found myself debating with a cocky salesman trying to pressure me by threatening me with a restock fee if I cancelled. Eventually another salesman or manager came over and issued a credit on the pool.Not once did anyone there Express any concern or empathy. No attempt was made to make things right, no one contacted the installer.So after we had sent out invitations to my sons pool birthday party, we had to scramble to find another venue.This was the worst I have ever been treated by a company.
I have never, ever done this before, so here goes -We recently purchased a patio set from Litehouse, here in Erie. The cost for 6 chairs and a table came to over $2500.It was delivered last Thursday, IN BOXES, completely unassembled. The instructions for assembly were three properly drawn illustrations. We are currently struggling to put the second of the six chairs together. It is next to impossible to fit the backs on the chairs.I contacted DOMINICK at Litehouse and he said he had fully disclosed to us that it was unassembled. THAT IS A COMPLETE UNTRUTH!!He then proceeded to tell me that he had paid for our delivery out of his commission, as if that would make things right.(plus I dont believe that is true!)I strongly recommend that NO ONE purchase from Litehouse ever!!

Stay far far away from lighthouse pools and spas. They will sell you a dream & give you a nightmare! They say up to 4 weeks for install. Then say no we said 4 to 6 weeks. Then when Install time finally comes they do not install!!! I said you were supposed to install. He said we just drop it off. What? $26,000 & you drop it off. What!? He said thats your responsibility! We Deliver. Then he says they salesman gave me the wrong height. The salesman measured the same model they had in store. Guess what? He didnt add on the 4 to 5 foot clearance you need above for swim spa cover! Nightmare! So we go around and around on the phone with lighthouse. Literaly four hours on the phone with this guy that guy and call backs and no answers. Guy says you really dont need a cover do you? What?! Finally they agree to get us a different cover. ANOTHER month or two. So I get someone to come and install since lighthouse refuses to. The only thing the panel will say is that my water is too hot. I put my hand in freezing cold. I call lighthouse 12 times no answer. No return phone call. I call manufacturer in Las Vegas and Im told to call light house. Now what!? They dont make the tubs deliver the tubs install the tubs or perform the warranty service. Young spa from union city does deliveries and performs warranty service. No one apparently installs. They know nothing about how it works or is set up or anything even if you can get them to take your call. Im assuming their is this post it note on their phone saying if the following phone numbers call, dont answer. So $26,000 later i have a freezing cold huge tub of non moving water. Thanks lighthouse!

At the end of May, I called the Erie, PA location and spoke to Deb, who was very nice and friendly. Several days later I called and spoke to another gentleman and explained how my family was looking to purchase a pool liner and have it installed. He advised me that they do not have a professional that will come and measure our pool, etc. I explained that when I bought my house, the pool was there. I took a picture and measured before heading to the store to purchase a new liner. The gentleman was very helpful and advised me that it would be approx. 1 - 2 weeks before the liner arrived. It ended up being 3 weeks and then I was told 1 - 2 weeks for installation. After 8 days, I called the store asking when the install would happen and I found out that no one ever gave the paperwork to the install guys. I was already irritated at this point. They advised me they would put a rush on it. Two days later the install was to happen around 10 am. This is where I become angry....I have a babysitter at my house with my young daughter. A beat up vehicle showed up in my driveway around noon and two men got out. My sitter rushed my daughter in the house and asked the guys who they were. They said they were there to install the pool liner. These men were not professional looking at all. They were so scary looking that my neighbors came out to see what was going on. My one neighbor is a police officer and was concerned for my sitter and daughter. The 2 men proceed to the pool deck and begin to do their work. 15 min later I receive a phone call that they were unable to install my liner because I ordered the wrong one. First of all, I ordered what I was told to order. Then the guy advised me that they left the liner on my deck and I was to return it to the store. Why was it my responsibility to return the liner? Are you telling me they couldnt do that? After I hung up with the install guy, my babysitter called to inform me they left. She also told me that they came to the garage asking her if we had some sort of screw driver. Next thing she knew the other guy was going through my husbands tools in the garage. What in the world gives these guys the right to go through our personal things and why did they not come equipt with their own tools. This is the most unprofessional thing Ive ever witnessed. I was also told that as they left, they lit cigarettes and hollered out the window hurray, were outa here. Im in complete shock by all of this. I was referred to Litehouse by a few people and because Ive heard advertisements on the radio, I thought we were safe to assume this was a good company. Im completely disgusted with everything. The only thing I can thank them for is my money back.
