Excellent experience here. Recently started going to learn to play at the MARC and wanted my own equipment. Dave at North Coast was extremely helpful, friendly, and professional. He walked me through different sizes, styles, etc for each piece of equipment. He was never pushy and provided great recommendation. Pricing was what I expected and they had deals on some things. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Bailey was tremendously helpful with making sure my 6 year old was all set for his first season of play. Lots of value added- laced his skates properly and taped his stick. Also showed us how to tape the shin guard and socks properly. We had his skates sharpened and learned some valuable tips about ensuring the laces stay tight. Prices were very reasonable and the additional advice made it a tremendous value not achieved by buying from a big store. I highly recommend north coast!

What an excellent place. I refuse to shop anywhere else. I got brand new Bauer Vapor X500 skates for a steal. I also got everything else I own from this shop. Every time I go in there, my questions are answered honestly and ALWAYS receive great bargains. Always have good conversations, and any work done to my gear is done easily and professionally. Very honest people, wont try to upsell anything and wont sell you anything that you dont need. Highly recommended and have recommended the place to others. I will be continuoisly shopping here as I frequently play hockey.

North Coast Hockey has an agreement with Queen City Lacrosse to take online orders, package, and ship to lacrosse customers. I placed an order with priority mail shipping for a helmet, arm guards, and gloves on Feb 09. It is now March. I have called and left multiple messages at North Coast Hockey after being told by Gary Neft that they took over Queen City Lacrosse and he no longer owns it. The staff has been rude, they have not returned a single phone call, the owners have not responded to any emails. When I actually get someone on the phone they say they have nothing to do with Queen City Lacrosse yet their phone number, address, and website URL are listed as the location for Queen City Lacrosse. Additionally, I’ve been told “It’s none of your business” by employees at North Coast Hockey when I ask when the manager will be in and who they will give my message to. When I asked what they will do with my message the response was “Probably just leave it somewhere and see if anyone notices it later in the week.” I’m a customer and I have paid for this merchandise. I own it. Not sending it is THEFT. After a tremendous amount of work tracking down the former owner via his former and current employer I finally got some headway. North Coast Hockey has all the lacrosse merchandise and they pack it and ship it out from a storage facility. They had, according to the former owner, approximately 15 unprocessed orders where others paid for and were waiting on lacrosse equipment. Essentially receiving orders, getting paid, and NEVER SHIPPING. On March 2 I finally received the helmet and arm guards but no gloves. The former owner has gone missing and not returning texts and voicemail is always full. I’ve called North Coast Hockey and was told they have “nothing to do with it” and it’s “none of your business who we leave your message for.” Meanwhile, the merchandise I now OWN LEGALLY is in their store, paid for, and they are refusing to ship it to me. I’m assuming they will sell my merchandise again and again to others who think they will be receiving it and never do. This is THEFT. I will be reporting this as theft to all authorities as North Coast Hockey has an agreement with Queen City Lacrosse and is now liable. I will also be reporting all associated parties for fraud and theft. There are consumer protections against online store fraud. As for North Coast Hockey denying that they have anything to do with storing merchandise, receiving orders, and shipping them, I have clear evidence that my very delayed partial order came from North Coast Hockey since they used an old box that still had old shipping labels on them with NORTH COAST HOCKEY CROSS CHECK CORPORATION printed on them and sloppily blacked out with a magic marker, yet still clearly legible. The owners are Dave Hinz and Mike Sinclair. Both will be reported for theft and online payment fraud. Or, they could simply mail my merchandise!

Love this place! Just moved out here and needed some gear for league. Steve helped me out with everything I needed and re-sharpened my skates after Dicks botched it. ONLY place I will go for my hockey needs from now on.
