Highly recommend for selling sterling silver. Took the family silver in to Chamberlains in Longmont. My sister & I had weighed it on a kitchen scale prior to selling so we had a rough idea of the weight. We were offered $580 there which seemed very low for 5-6lbs sterling silver. Called around and a very competent, honest sounding woman answered the phone at Erie. I gave her the weight from Chamberlains in Longmont to see what she would pay us. She quoted around $980. So my sister & I drove the extra 15 minutes to Erie that same day (actually about an hour later) so price of silver had not changed. They had a TV in the lobby area with the current price of various metals so you know you are getting an accurate price. They weighed our sterling silver in front of us on their scale and we ended up getting $1,177!! I had computed the price myself and that was about what I came up with as well. Highly recommend this place for being honest and transparent. We have already told many about this experience and will use them again.

I had been looking for a good coin shop that is honest, with reasonable prices. I found it in Erie gold & silver. It’s a quiet a drive but it’s well with it! The people are always kind even though they are busy. This is my new coin shop. Thank you for always making me feel comfortable in your shop it means more to me then the anything.

FAMILY OWNED!! Levi and the family are great people to work with. From kids bringing in their first old penny to see if it is worth anything, to vet stackers finding a great deal at spot (plus a little). They even trade wooden nickles if your cool. They close early on Saturday. (you can only hold spot from Memorial weekend so long).

I went in for the first time last weekend and it was great! The owner took a lot of time to explain different coins and different strategies. Everyone in there seems super knowledgeable and helpful. Prices are comparable/beat online prices. I definately recommend checking it out.

Professional polite and efficient - worth the drive.

The business itself seems decent enough; however —BEWARE— the owner, Levi, and all his counter-staff exhibit(ed) a total and blatant disregard for wearing masks, or remotely following, or enforcing the mandated health protocols for Covid. On several visits, I was the only person masked, with far too many customers having entered, and lingering in, this smaller space! No mask signs posted; no capacity restrictions; a virtual petri dish of covid-risk at this establishment. Not good. Highly ignorant.

His patience with customers (including myself) is unrivaled. I spent at least 1 hour there and never felt rushed or hurried. The sense of honesty in Levi is also amazing - his honesty with me and with other customers is something I’ve NEVER seen from another coin dealer.I drove from Thornton to visit his shop for the first time as a gamble because I haven’t had the best experiences with my local coin dealers - it was well worth the drive and I will be dealing exclusively with Erie G & S going forward. I went to this coin shop last weekend and loved the selection and found a few cool items that were tucked away on the floor under the coin table in front of the counter.I was most impressed when Levi welcome my 2 very well behaved pit bulls into the store.Levi even had dog treats that he offered to my dogs.The other customers who were coming and going seemed to enjoy my babies (dogs) as well.I purchased several other items from the display case and Levi gave me a great package deal.All in all, it was a great experience and I will return in hopes of finding more great deals.Levi, thanks for being dog friendly, these two girls are my everyday companions and its nice when they are welcomed.Mike from Brighton....

I had WWII coins from my Dads Estate that I needed to get a general value of. The guys there looked at my coins, gave me their input right on the spot even though I had just walked in. They were extremely knowledgeable and very nice. When I asked how much I owed them, they said to write a review. So I am! Thanks to a real professional and knowledgeable company. First time I was assisted by the owner Levi who really knows his stuff and is very passionate about gold and silver. Awesome guy! Second time it was his parents and a couple other people in there, Neil, Liz, Ron, and Dillion. Who again provided great knowledge of the industry. The pure interest they have will keep me coming back. Also the prices are the best in the state too, no taxes and they beat RM Coin by a long shot.

Levi is one of the most honest and straight forward persons I have met in a long time. He is extremely knowledgeable about coins, and I feel like he gave me a honest deal. I brought in over 185 coins and a colonial dollar. Waited 15 mins for Levi to look over my coins and really enjoyed the older gentleman that works there. During this time he at least looked over a few coins and gave me some info. Levi showed up and looked at 5 coins tops and investigated my colonial dollar. I felt he put little to no effort in looking at my collection and didnt notice several silver coins that I noticed, let alone the others in my collection. World coins are a hard sell but dont waste your time with this place because they are only interested in American gold and silver.

I have been investing in Gold and Silver for many years and recently in the past year starting doing all my business with Erie Gold and Silver. They have the best prices of anywhere I have found, even after I factor in my drive time to go pick it up. In all my gold buying and so on, I have never ever left a coin or misplaced an investment. It seems as though this most recent purchase I misplaced a coin while transferring it into my safe at the store. I lost a coin valued at over $1,600 and didnt know where to begin to look. I called and left a message at the store and got a call back first thing Monday morning stating that the coin was searched high and low and was found and they would ship it to me for free. This dude had a tremendous opportunity to royally screw me over and instead took the high road. I appreciate their honesty and they can expect my business for life. Thanks again!

I called beforehand, to let them know I had a 5 oz bar of silver, which was worth $82. They told me they would give me $77 for it, a $5 loss to me, which I thought was fair. I walked in, and he was on the phone, but I walked up and put the bar on the counter. He told the customer on the phone to hold a second, and grabbed my cash, and handed it to me, shook my hand and went about his business. Was in the shop less than a minute. Great service, thank you!

I have been doing business with Levi for a couple of year now and it took me a while to find an honest reasonable dealer. I went to several dealers in the Denver metro area and local gun shows.He sells eagles and maple for close to what you would pay at Apmex. And you avoid paying tax and shipping. Yes no taxes. Some I know like in Golden collect city taxes but not in Erie. Also I have spent countless time with him explaining coins and what makes some more valuable than others. Also he will tell you what he will buy them back for, try to get any of those answer out any of the local dealers here.

Awesome gold and silver coin shop. Im 24 and new to investing in silver but have done a lot of research online, when I decided I wanted to get started I wanted to find a dealer (preferably cause I dont trust online) that wouldnt rip me off and I could keep going back to. I definitely found it with Erie silver and gold, the owner Levi was really helpful and when I asked if he stays away from fakes he told me of coarse, you wanna see some he pulled out a large box full of fakes of all different kinds and even had me test to see if I could tell the difference between some of the fakes and real ones. His customer service is awesome and he is very patient and willing to teach, he may look young but he seems to be very well educated in his trade. His prices are consistent with how he runs his business gives others a good price and doesnt over charge. One of the other great features of his shop is where it is located, because he is in weld county there is no sales tax on gold and silver coins and bullion so if you are looking for a good shop with good prices definitely head over there and see for yourself. He has a lifetime customer in me.UPDATE: as for the one bad review on here I was talking with him about it and that was before he owned this shop.

We were in this store a week ago and drove past many other coin stores to get there. I called several denver area coin stores to get information prior to purchaseing. Several were rude, one flat lied and most had very high markups. Levi at Erie Gold and Silver took the time to answer my questions and seemed very knowledgeable. The service was even better once we arrived at his store. If you are looking to buy, his prices are very competative and I know you cant find better service. Will definately do business here again.
