Best retro games store for 50 square miles. The fact that they offer repairs and restoration services, alone, puts them head and shoulders above any competition by a very large margin. The exchange is decent but its not even a competition.

They had specifically what I was looking for I called ahead and asked for the item to be set aside. I showed up and was happy to see there was a few options for me to choose from at reasonable prices. I will say it was a little unwelcoming entering the store, there wasnt a lot of space between myself and the salesperson (especially during a pandemic). I feel like I might have stayed to look around a bit more if the salesperson had encouraged me to look around and given me some space to do so. I would call back again to look for specific retro game items as needed! Im not sure if I would stop in just to look though.

Sadly my review is based on them not being open during hours of operation. Came to Erie on vacation, and being a retro gamer this was high on my personal list for places to visit. Saved it for the last day. Drove almost half an hour from the hotel to find the doors locked. Google says you open at 11am and we got there almost noon.

Drastically increases prices of the product. Attempting to sell products over 200% market value. Members dont really care of the product or how they sell a product. Couldnt care less about your business so we shouldnt care about them. Dont shop here.

Just went here for the first time. I came in 20 minutes before they closed. I talked to the owner. He was very nice and I really enjoyed my time there. I was impressed with the large selection and they have great prices. I will definately go here again. This is now one of my favorite stores in erie.

Changing my review. They were really nice when we were trying to get a memory card for a game cube, but now they are never open even when the signs say open! Always closing early, and I understand emergencies come up and its just him running it most of the time, but its never open!

I do not recommend this place. The environment that comes with it makes me uncomfortable, the employees are very disrespectful in my opinion. After my experience I went and did my research and I found he seems to rip a lot of people off. Not only that but there is a lot of drama between this place and another. I no longer trust him. I believe when 2 businesses have drama its an immediate red flag. I understand businesses will have competition with others, but how they approach that and deal with it are the key factor. I have read very many unproffessional comments made by this owner. Im very glad that some people have had a good experience, but I sadly, will be one of those that cant say that. Please take this comment into consideration before going here.

If I’m being honest, this is a really great pawn shop with almost any electronic you could possibly need or want. It saves the trip of having to go to different stores, why would you when everything is here in one spot? From game systems, to TVs, to computers, and all accessories you can’t go wrong. They’re always posting deals and sales on Facebook to keep their customers informed on how they can save money if they come shop there. GameStop will charge you an arm and a leg but over at Bayfront Entertainment they’re willing to work with you, highly recommend!

The staff is disrespectful. It’s just not a good environment. There is a very limited selection of retro games. Try “Play World” or “The Exchange.”The Exchange and Play World have a bigger selection and a much friendlier staff.

The guy who runs the place is a really nice guy. He got me hooked on collecting vintage consoles and I can see myself coming back over and over for more.

The guy is a cheap pos didnt wanna give me what i wanted but tried to boast in my face after he gave me money that it was worth 10x the amount he gave me i dont care about moneyi got plenty that was for my grandfather... the point is hes very cheap completely ignorant he broke open the protective case my unopened game was in then offered me change he wants your money not your company i recorded him when people came in his building completely being ignorant behind their back completely unprofessional im glad i decided to record my little time with him everyone can see

I bought god of war their for 50$ and i didnt like it so he told me to come in and hed give me 40$ in trade... And i wanted grand theft auto 5 which was 25$ and would of left me with 15$ in trade and he wouldnt let me cause he didnt have many copies which was bs so i got stuck getting metal gear solid and mafia 3 which is fine but dont tell me your gonna do something and not do it and it took me 3 days to get him to be at the store which again was bs! He was also very ruid and all he did was rush me and i asked if i did the trade for black ops 4 and payed the rest if he would when he had 6 copies on the shelf and he said they were pre orders from other people tjen put them in the back dude foreal thats messed up but Im not going their to shop anymore!
