People there are great!However I spent 600 dollars for 2 pair of progressives and they are not made correctly. I have to wear them 2 inches above my ears at an angle to even try to see. Going ask for a refund.

I got my eye exam done there by Dr. Lillie (who by the way was great) not too long ago. Everyone there was super friendly, and the doctors tech was very nice and helpful. Overall, my experience was pretty positive and I was happy with my glasses. A good eye place that I would recommend.

Eyeglass World offers a great accommodating environment. The workers are all extremely nice and helpful to aid in fulfilling my need for frames. Nicole and Tiffany in particular are absolutely lovely! I would definitely recommend this place for affordable frames with wide variety in styles.

Would give a 0 star review if I could. Absolutely terrible customer service. No one there has a clue what they are doing. Both times Ive had to have them order lenses for me they have screwed it up leaving me waiting for glasses for at least a month. First time they screwed up my prescription and the second time they ordered 2 left lenses. I didnt even need the left lense replaced. Would not recommend to anyone.

I got my glasses there but not my son. We went in with his old frames and lenses and they transferred the lenses into the new frames we didn’t even buy from them at no cost!!! Awesome and friendly!

Went to eyeglass world and the sales staff was beyond hopeful. They were short staffed but let me know upon coming in they would be right with me. The frame choices are excellent! Great place!

We have been going to the one on Peach street in Erie for years. This last time was no picnic. We had appointments and customers just walking in were waited on before us. Our glasses had to be mailed to us because it was going to be a 6hr wait. When we did get our glasses I cant see out of mine and refuse to drive another 90+ miles to have them fixed and then have to drive back up to get them. I definitely will not be back for myself and may find a new place for my kids as well.

The amount of wet floors signs here had me super impressed me and my daughter felt so safe thank you will be coming back!

Thought about getting glasses here, so I figured I’d test the waters by getting my current frames adjusted and take a look around a few days ago. Boy, that was a mistake. Took a while to even be acknowledged, about 10 minutes. Then was greeted like the girl was annoyed that I was there. Taylor? Tiana? One of the managers, I’m assuming who’s name started with a T. I could also see 2 more girls sitting at the large desk doing nothing other than being glued to their phones while people needed to be waited on from what I could see. I was going to put some sort of excuse for them but that’s just something you do not want your customers to see. I was also going to say they almost got me to purchase but I like to be honest, wasn’t even close…it’s just not the place for me. I’m sure I’ll have a better experience elsewhere!

Amazing is all I can think to say. I was waited on almost immediately and the BEST part. I had my glasses 🤓 a couple hours later.

First time there. I may be at fault for missing any signs on protocol, but I walked in with my daughter, got about 15 feet in the store, and was approached quickly by a worker with a bit of an attitude asking if he could help us. As I was explaining the reason for the visit he was scanning our foreheads and waited for us to put our hands out so he could make sure we used his hand sanitizer. That was not a good start. We were asked to go look at the frames because they were with other customers. As we were looking and needed their assistance, two other customers came in and were getting service before we did. After some time, we stood by a wall waiting, then just decided to leave. On the upside, it looked like they had a nice selection of frames, but, I will not be going back. Good customer service and a half decent product may still get people coming back. If you can’t start with good customer service, it ends there for me.

My appointment was at 9:45 am And I had an exam done and left while they did my glasses and they were done and I picked them up 2pair for 99.99 and was back out of there before 11:45am. Definitely the best place and best experience I’ve ever had totally recommend 100%

Got my first pair no problem great glasses, 3 stars for now, waiting for the second pair yet, second week.Got my second pair yesterday, very satisfied, they said two weeks for second pair, ( special order) only took one week.I can see now. 😎

I highly recommend Eyeglass world. I first priced another place in the mall area, and then went to Eyeglass world for a second quote. Eyeglass Worlds was a lot less expensive (for the exact same thing...my new prescription in my old frames). They also filled the prescription in less than an hour. I always compare prices but I dont think you can beat Eyeglass Worlds prices or service.

They did get me in and have my glasses done the same day. I am not real happy with the quality of the frames. I hope they dont break

My experience here was phenomenal, incredible probably the best customer service I’ve had in a long time. I wasn’t a customer at the time, but all I needed was an adjustment with frames I didn’t purchase at this store. The gentleman did more than adjust them, I got new nose pads and they cleaned them up for me....without me asking. And the best thing was, it was FREE! From the moment I walked into the door to the moment they walked me out and held the door open it was just a great experience. I will recommend this store and the whole staff to everyone I know!

I’ve been getting my glasses at Eye Glass World now for a few years and always have a pleasant experience. Yesterday I went in and got an eye exam and new glasses picked out. Not only was the optician Lauren great and very helpful the Manager Kate was also extremely helpful with an issue with my insurance

Amid this pandemic and all the craziness, I went to eyeglass world just to get my glasses fixed. When I walked in..it was the typical mask wearing, temperature taking, hand sanitizing safety protocols. I was taken care of by Edward, (seemed like he was the only one working) and I’ve never seen someone multitask with so many people yet still keep me as a priority cause I was waited on first. I did see the girl workers laughing and joking behind the desk, but that’s besides the point...all I know is I got helped immediately and I’ll be back to actually purchase glasses now!

I visited this store on Thursday and it was by far the best experience I’ve had. Everyone was so nice and efficient all though they were kinda busy when I was there...I will recommend this store and staff to everyone I know! Thank you.

The staff was friendly and professional and the frame selection was very nice. I got the two for $78 glasses and they were ready for pick up the next day. I would definitely go back to Eyeglass World.

This is the second time I scheduled an appointment for an eye exam on a Saturday and the doctor did not show up. I waited in the waiting room after picking glasses when the assistant advised that the doctor will not be in coming in today. The assistance was just as shocked. Feel bad for the 3 customer and staff that had been blindsided themselves by this. Very unprofessional I will never go there again.

I read some reviews for eyeglass world that were really harsh and I was nervous. But after going there to get new glasses I was impressed. So impressed I took my mom there the next day. Great customer service. I was able to walk in and get an appointment. Nice selection. And Katrina spent extra time making sure my glasses fit well. Am talking them up among my friends online.

I recently broke my glasses, I snapped the screw off in the ear piece and the glasses frame. I called Eyeglass World, where I purchased them, and was told by a gentleman Yes, I believe we can extract and replace that screw. I asked about cost and was told there would be no cost.So a few days later I made the 20 mile drive into Eyeglass World, and was greeted by a nice young lady who took my glasses into the back. She came out within a minute and said you purchased these 3 years ago. I said I didnt realize I had had them that long, but okay, can they be fixed? I was told no, they couldnt extract the screw, and the frames were discontinued, but if they could find the frame at another of their stores they would sell them to me for $109.......for discontinued frames. But since its been three years I could get my eyes examined and purchase new glasses. However this pair cost me several hundred dollars even with insurance. So I thanked her and said I thought I might have a drill bit that would work on these frames.On the way home I stopped at the hardware store and purchased a set of precision drill bits for my Dremel, went home and fixed them myself.I was disappointed that they: didnt tell me on the phone that after a certain amount of time they wouldnt repair glasses, werent even willing to fix the glasses for a reasonable fee, and wanted to charge me $109 for discontinued frames that probably cost pennies to produce!So, since my insurance has reached the point that I can get an exam and new glasses I probably will. But it isnt going to be at Eyeglass World!

I accompanied my step father in to get his eyes checked and get a new pair of glasses. Unfortunately, the one pair of glasses he got was $418. He needed new bifocals and opted for the progressives. The optician technician, Tyson, was amazing. He was so kind and just so happy! Made the experience so great. He treated us like family. My step dad was told he’d get two pairs of glasses, but I don’t think that is the case. Maybe we should have inquired a little more. All in all, it was a good visit.

Thank you Ashley, for your prompt and courteous help. Being from out of town, and having loosened my lens so that the wire needed replacement, I was thrilled to have quick response time, courteous service, and lots of smiles. It was the come back anytime that will make my return trips to Erie a little better if I have any future problems with my much needed lenses!

We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door and everyone was friendly and extremely helpful. I live in Canada and I was on vacation down in Erie, Pennsylvania with my family. It was our second day on our vacation when it turned for the worst and my glasses broke. I did not have any clue on where to take them or where to go to get new ones. So I called Eyeglass world and they immediately suggested that I came into the store so they could take a look. As soon as I got there I was greeted by Ashley who was beyond nice. Right then and there I realized I was in the right hands. Even though it seemed busy Ashley and Edward made it a priority that I was taken care of. It was super easy and quick. Next thing you know my glasses were fixed and I was walked out of the store with them holding the door for me, smiling from start to finish. I will ALWAYS recommend this store and company to everyone. Thank you so much.

Worst experience I have ever had getting glasses. Could not see road signs on the way home and was told to keep wearing them till I get used to them. Now waiting on a refund for glasses I paid cash for. I won’t be back. However the Dr and her assistant were great.

Dr Lillie and staff were very professional and nice. HOWEVER, I went there because my frame had broken and I was in need of new glasses quickly. Its now 10 DAYS later and no sign of my new glasses. This is ridiculous...UPDATE: Day 14 finally got my glasses. Got no reason, just dumbfounded looks from the staff.

First time purchasing glasses. Was helped by Connor who made the experience a breeze. He was super knowledgeable and I got my glasses the same day. I dont think I could possibly shop anywhere else for eyewear after this fantastic experience.

I dropped my fiancee off to get an eye exam and new bifocals while I ran some errands. He is physically disabled with balance issues and weakness in the legs. He walks with a cane. Five minutes after I dropped him off he called for me to pick him up at Country Fair. When I got there he said that he asked where the restroom was and was told there was none. He said he really needed to use the restroom before his appointment. He was told he needed to walk up the hill to Country Fair. Unbelievable!! He did not go back and I will not either. I find it hard to believe people can work there with no restrooms. You have lost 2 customers with this insensitivity. I wear daily wear multi-focal contact lens and bifocal glasses. We will both take our business elsewhere.

First time there was awesome, they got me an appointment right away. All of the people there are really nice, especially the doctor. and I got my glasses the same day I picked them out.

I got my prescription 1 year and 11 days ago and they will not let me buy sunglasses... an obvious money making scam to keep people from being able to buy glasses. I could understand every few years but this is ridiculous..

Dr. Julie Lillie was wonderful to work with. She was wonderful to my 4yr old son also, who wasnt even there for an appt. I wasnt pleased with the follow-up to pick up my contacts. I was told they would be ordered and I would get a call in a week to pick them up. Well that call never came, and both times I was in the facility there were about 5 women sitting on their butts chit chatting. Love the Dr, but the assistants, not so much.

I received a prescription from another eye doctor and decided to go to Eyeglass world to get glasses due to the previous doctor not having a large selection of frames and I couldnt find a pair I liked. I entered eyeglass world and was immediately greeted and asked what services I was there for. I was instructed to start looking at frames and someone would be with me shortly (there was no shortage of frames to choose from here!). I took as long as I needed to look at frames, was not rushed and was not pushed. When I found the frames I wanted, Ashley sat down with me to get lenses and discuss pricing. Ashley was extremely helpful and accommodating (I was a pain to deal with, as I kept asking her to price so many different things). It was a pleasant experience and will be back next time I need glasses!

I was in there today. My daughter and I had exams and were planning on buying contacts. After waiting to cash out for almost a half hour I decided to just cash out and buy my contacts elsewhere. The doctor and his assistant were wonderful. The rest of the operation was understaffed. Id rather go somewhere else and pay out of pocket.

Dr. Lillie seems pretty good. If you would like to order glasses else where for like half the price(or more), make sure that you ask them to measure you PD (pupil distance). Ask one of the glasses sales people after you have your appointment. They withhold this info to try to make you buy from the store for a lot more $$. No good reason why the dr. appt cannot give you this info at time of appt, others do.

This was third time choosing them, I am completely satisfied.

They didnt even make eye contact when I walked in they completely ignored me. When I asked for help the guy was extremely rude. I told him what I needed but he said he couldnt help me, he didnt even get to see the frames I was talking about. Will never go there again. They dont even deserve one star.

The worst service you could expect. No one acknowledges your presence after you have waited there for 20 minutes. They dont care about why you are here. No intention to help from any of the employee there. Stay away at all cost.

If youre looking for quality, do not go here. Had problems with the left lens 4 different times. I was told I was subconsciously seeing hazing in the left lens because the manager was not able to see it himself yet other people could see it. Most times I did not receive the phone call that I was told I would receive which would be letting me know when my glasses were in or what they were doing to fix the problem.

After picking 2 frames I waited at the service area for my turn. The male employee took my presentation to make a copies and asked me to sit at his desk. While I was sitting waiting a young family walked up to th r area where he was making the copies and asked him a question I thought ok no biggie 5 min then 10 mi I timed it !!!! so I asked for my script and left. ..what a waist of my yome

My wife and I went through a month of deception and excuses. They attempted to get out of advertised offers and, when turned over to the Attorney Generals office, they provided a store credit. When it came time to collect on that store credit (with the very same people who were involved in the original agreement) they suddenly didnt know anything about that agreement (which was supposed to be recorded in our account). Fortunately, I had full documentation on it and they begrudgingly provided the credit. Weve never even considered walking into that place again.

Slow. Unprepared. Lack of communication. The place is a joke.

Terrible service. They called and made us reschedule our initial appointment then called back at the last minute to cancel. Every other place in Erie was booked solid at that point, but they literally could care less.

Dr took away my option to wear contacts because he dont think I should have them. What kind of crap is that? I can have glasses but not contacts for no other reason then he doesnt think I should.
