They have very good coffee and drinks that are well-balanced (not overly sweet). I also really appreciate that they have compostable cups and work to support the local community. The baristas and owner are always very friendly and make personal connections. A great local coffee shop.

A couple months back my business associate and I decided to look for another meeting place. We checked out another local shop, way too noisy and crowded, tables too close together. We then tried a nearby restaurant. It was fine for a couple meetings then the internet went spotty and unusable.So we kept searching and for Fox-Dog. What a pleasant surprise. It is currently less crowded and has a break out room off to the side making good great. We can converse without shouting, fighting music.Carb-friendly - I watch carbs. I was shocked when I asked for a carb-friendly Latte and they were able to offer a Latte with unsweetened Almond Milk. That is the deal-clencher.

Ive been coming here every so often since they opened and its always been such a wonderful experience. Their coffee has always been delicious, their employees always friendly and helpful, and their decor/vibe modern and welcoming.

We planned to meet with a friend for coffee but Foxdog has not yet opened up for indoor seating. This was disappointing but the sun came out and we enjoyed sitting outside with our always wonderful lattes and delicious quiche we hadnt tried before! Gotta love Colorado weather!

I want to update my review after coming here somewhat regularly since theyve opened around a year ago...1. Their coffee is still amazing.2. The pastries and baked goods they sell are always a delicious treat, and they cover sweet and savory3. The whole bean coffee they sell has been top notch4. I have gained so much respect for them in their diligence to follow Covid social distancing guidelines. They have no indoor seating at the moment but on nice days there are great outdoor areas. You can also call in your order and theyll bring it out to you if you forgot your mask. Other coffee shops in the area have taken a decidedly different approach to social distancing guidelines, so much respect goes to the owners at Fox Dog .Long story short, keep supporting this awesome business in downtown!

Visited here with my wife two days ago. I heard that this coffee shop is great, so I finally went to Erie from Boulder just because of this coffee shop. We ordered a cortado and a latte and both were GREAT. I tried many well-known coffee shops in CO, but I surely can say here is one of the best coffee shops in Colorado. Also, staff was so friendly. Everything was perfect.

This coffee shop offers delicious food and beverages to perk up your morning. When you ask the barista for a recommendation, and they suggest the drip coffee, you know that their beans are high-quality. You also know that whatever else you enjoy their coffee with, like specialty lattes and mochas, will be amazing. The shop’s food is also great, but it sells out quickly. Many mornings you have to get there early to enjoy specialty quiches and some of their more delicious baked items.Fox Dog’s staff also goes above and beyond to make sure customers are happy. One morning, I happened to go by earlier than usual and it was a few minutes before opening. Although that time of day must offer staff the chance to get a few more things done and be ready for the day, they put down what they were doing to let me in, and they filled my order. That’s going above and beyond, and that spirit is why I’ll back time and time again.

Great spot, better coffee and excellent staff that greet you with smiles (through masks!) and warm conversation. These guys are a welcome addition to downtown Erie. Highly recommend.

Great quality coffee from a great denver roaster (Purple Door). Well-trained baristas who know about 10x what a Starbucks barista knows about coffee. They use a Kees Vander Westen espresso machine (amazing!) and the milk is always steamed to the right temperature to maintain the sugars and body of it. Great place to go to stop drinking terrible coffee at the chains we see so often that do nothing for our world. Support these fine folks, because your money will do more to better producers’ lives, and you’ll definitely enjoy the taste. My go-to: a cortado: equal parts steamed milk and espresso. Yum.

Our favorite coffee shop in Erie. In addition to the high quality coffee, they have a good selection of pastries, scones, and quiche. Theyre famous for their pumpkin spice latte, which is made with pumpkin butter instead of overly sweet syrup. The owner is a super cool guy and all the staff is very friendly and helpful. Great seating outside and they are taking all the covid precautions.

The quality of the espresso here is truly top notch, which makes the lattes smooth and flavorful. The owners and employees are always friendly and make sure our drinks are spot-on, so we now come here a little too often :) Its also downtown which makes it easy to walk around, and the outdoor seatings makes for a good place to chat with others in a social-distant manner.

I love Fox Dog, they truly care about an exceptional coffee experience from the type of beans they use to what you like in your coffee. One of the employees there took the time to explain that they do flavors by the gram (versus the typical shop that goes by pumps) to ensure the most consistent and delicious coffee. Amazing.I love their indoor and outdoor seating, all outdoor now due to covid ... And their employees are friendly and easy to chat with. Great service, coffees, baked goods and location!

So glad I found this great little coffee shop! My oat milk latte’ was excellent, as was my daughter’s oat milk chai. We shared delicious scones, a blueberry and a pecan, while we sat at an outdoor table. The staff was super friendly and we appreciate that they follow Covid protocol.Can’t wait to get back to Fox-Dog!

Simply Outstanding vibe, quality, staff, and price. Local family owned. The quality of the beans was amazing and they had all the alternative milk options which is a huge plus for me with my dairy intolerance. Everything on the menu was about $1-2 cheaper than anywhere Ive been in the state for this level of quality brew which I didnt think was possible. I wish there was one near me in Denver.

Would rather come here then other local shops, coffee its better and staff is WAY faster. Unfortunately they very rarely carry white chocolate so I have to go elsewhere.Update- Thanks SO much! Love the coffee and will definitely be back!

Good coffee, clean space, friendly staff. I wish it felt more homey and cozy, instead of bright and modern, but thats just my preference. I would love to see more variety in the breakfast food choices. The main reason I continue to choose Christos most days is because I try to avoid sugar, and they also offer burritos and sandwiches. If Foxdog had non-sugary breakfast options, if probably go there more often. Overall, a great addition to downtown Erie.

Tried the pumpkin spice latte the other day. It was absolutely amazingly delicious! Im not usually one for that type of coffee, but I had heard lots of rave reviews about it and decided to give it a try. Highly recommend!

Wonderful brew! I have been a amature home roaster for years and rarely go to a shop for my daily fix but I was so pleased I stopped. I got an oat milk latte and the flavor profile was sugar browning, nutty, malt like, and full bodied. I will certainly return and everyone should check them out!!!

Literally the best coffee around for miles. Atmosphere is welcoming, foam is smooth, beans are sweet. Its a complete joy watching the owner train with care. So incredibly impressed, and thankful I dont have to drive for a great latte anymore.
