Cristos has delicious coffee and that in itself deserves 5 stars. Unfortunate about losing their supplier of cinnamon rolls, I hope you guys find something else just as good. These guys will always get 5 stars from me though regardless of pastry options because theyre making a stand for truth, freedom, and the Constitution. I think the signs on the door are plenty enough warning for those truly vulnerable and/or living in fear. For those who disagree who are reading this, the point of all this is freedom of choice, so I think its safe to say the owners would respect your decision to take your business just down the street. No need to give a 1 star review for that
Great spot for coffee. I especially appreciate the restaurants attitude toward the ridiculous governmental overreach regarding vaccine and mask mandates (signs on door). That alone is reason enough to come here over big chain coffee shops. Keep up the fight, we will be back to support.
How am I supposed to trust a food and beverage establishment that loudly proclaims it doesn’t believe in public health and safety? Despite the offensive signage on the door (comparing masking to Nazism) I was prepared to get a coffee, however I opened the door and immediately saw an unmasked barista coughing... I mean as much as we all wish it wasnt the case, we are still in a pandemic. Besides as the owner loudly proclaims on the signage on his store, he feels entitled to decide which public health rules count; and I dont have the kind of time to do my own health and safety audit of his kitchen.
I want politics with my coffee about as much as a root canal. One should be able to get said coffee without the side of your least favorite uncle’s Facebook page.Grievance politics isn’t an identity.
Cristos coffee shop is a neighborhood gem. Their coffee is delicious! The beans are roasted in-house by the owners using an electric method. This creates a smooth, perfectly balanced brew that is never bitter or burned. They have a wide selection of lattes and have a lot of the best tasting sugar free syrup options. The baristas craft the drinks skillfully, presenting you with a beautiful cup at the perfect temperature. They have delicious pastries, free wifi, and a spacious venue that is perfect for lounging. Drop by and give them a try sometime.
I used to enjoy this coffee shop, but unfortunately this establishment is anti-mask, with big signs on the door about “government overreach” and the first amendment. I went here with my 5 year old who is unable to get vaccinated yet and realized no one was wearing masks, including the employees making the food.Time to move on.
Delicious Coffee and Relaxing Atmosphere!Christo’s Coffee is located a title far from the population hubs of Denver or Boulder, and it has a much better ambiance for it. With some of the best coffee I’ve tasted, it is well worth the trip if you are in the Boulder Area! I’ve personally found Boulder to be a rather cold and unaccepting place to many people, and it’s often driven me to find other places. I am happy to say I found nothing but loving and accepting vibes at Cristos Coffee. It may not mean much to you if you feel at home in Boulder, but for those of us who often feel ostracized, this is a great and balanced hangout in a time of much unnecessary division. Add the cozy seating area and the numerous nearby trails through open space and farmland and you are met with a cafe like few others in the county.
This establishment did not have much in the way of baked goods, nor breakfast items. My friend ordered coffee, but drowned it in milk and wasnt impressed with the taste. They also have decided that protecting those who are vulnerable with COVID are not worth their time. A huge sign hangs outside on the window talking about Government over-reach with the mask mandate. I had two friends die of COVID and I dont mask for me, I mask for those I care about and those I dont even know. Caring starts with taking steps to protect those around us. Wont be going back, and truthfully, it wasnt exactly teaming with people. It was also very overpriced for what you get and I work hard for my money and I appreciate establishments that recognize that!
My coffee tastes burned, or like its been sitting on a warmer for days... the cinnamon rolls are NOTHING like anyone has described...they look like they are out of a package, and are tasteless...the icing is not cream cheese icing like people have Gloated about... Im very disappointed. Id rather just go to Starbucks and Cinnabon at this point.
Christos is a wonderful family business. The environment is friendly and comfortable and I enjoy coffee there weekly with friends. They make an awesome almond milk latte. They keep the space super clean, the tables are spread out so guests aren’t crammed. Employees are always wearing masks and they make sure to provide an inviting atmosphere. It’s so nice to have a great local business so close.
Big signs hang on the front door complaining about government overreach with mask mandates. This is extremely disrespectful towards anyone who has lost someone during the pandemic. Furthermore, I dont want anything political shoved down my throat when Im just trying to get a cup of coffee.
Dont believe in what haters say.. this place is amazing!!!The atmosphere is great. I see people working there, studying and going as a family. I take my family often and I really enjoy the service, the coffee and the food. If you think about, thats exactly what matters, right? I highly recommend Cristos coffee because its my number 1 place when I want to have a good time with friends and family
Vanilla scone is awesome!! Great spot to work or just enjoy a nice cup of coffee and a breakfast burrito.
A wonderful shop with wonderful people! Everyone is welcoming, kind, and has great drink recommendations. The coffee is so good! And may I add, keeping our freedom at its finest. Such a great escape and glad to see a place that isnt corrupt. Highly recommend!
Delicious! So nice to see all of the smiling faces.
Great place for coffee. The staff was great
Fantastic coffee! Enjoyed what I ordered and am happy to see people being themselves. Comfortable atmosphere, and am pleased to report my family hours there week after week.To those that cry about masks indoors or outdoors, remember your mask will save you. If you dont feel comfortable, then please wear 2. If 2 isnt enough, then wear another! Or perhaps, consider going to McDs drive through for faster corporate service.
Cristos Coffee is one of the many gems in Erie. The coffee is great and the staff is even better! Very friendly and welcoming! They have a great selection of beverages and baked goods as well. If I don’t know what to get, I can always rely on them for a great recommendation! Very clean, inviting space to relax and sip on a cup of coffee.
I really like that my grandkids can enjoy something appropriate for their young age as well as I can...a place not just for adults.
Excellent daily coffee as always and pastries and now in new location for more room! Of course you have your usual lattes and breakfast buritos, etc. Enjoy!
The best coffee shop in town. Very nice people work there. You can seat inside with you laptop, there is nice work corner. Coffee is very tasty, sometimes we buy coffee beans there. Very recommended! ❤️
I love this beautiful cafe! It has the best atmosphere with friendly kind staff. The baristas are always knowledgeable and helpful. I love the coffee and lattes. I ordered A London Fog and it was amazing! I’ve been sharing this gem of a cafe with friends and family and We will absolutely be back!
Delicious coffee and a great atmosphere! I adore the Tony latte. A great place to meet a friend or a client. Plenty of space to spread out for social distancing. It is one of my go-to coffee places in Erie. A gem for sure!
Love this coffee shop! Love their coffee and their welcoming environment. I appreciate their willingness to fight for and observe my rights as an American. I appreciate the fact that they have kept their doors open and have provided a safe environment to come and be welcomed when much of Colorado has not!
Cristos is a great! Lots of food and beverage choices with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere! Their staff is always warm and courteous and lots of places to spread out and work or just enjoy being out and about. Love this place and am so glad that Erie has a great, family-owned business like this!
I loved the Pineapple smoothie and it was very fun to play on the Nintendo switch with my friends!
The drip coffee and coffee drinks are delicious here and that shouldn’t be a surprise. Cristos’ owner is passionate and knowledgeable about the beans he uses. My favorite is the Columbian beans, which I purchase to brew in my own kitchen when I can’t get to the coffee shop.If I’m hungry for something to go with what’s in my cup, there’s plenty of breakfast items and snacks to choose from. These include some of the best cinnamon rolls I’ve found in the area, topped with tons of cream cheese frosting.Customers feel like family at Cristos. Not only to their friendly baristas take time to talk to newcomers, but they also get to know regulars too and make them feel right at home. This is even easier now in Cristos’ new location. It’s at the other end of the same building and is just like their previous place only roomier. It’s a wonderful spot to linger during a morning, to get work done, or schedule a meeting.
I love Cristos. The staff is friendly and I always feel welcome when I’m there.I don’t drink coffee but I do enjoy trying the other variety of drinks, specialty items and yummy pastries.I am thankful their business is part of our community.
I love Cristos Coffee. The atmosphere is relaxing & welcoming. The coffee is delicious. So thankful for a little haven to retreat to in the madness of this world right now. Thank you for your boldness, kindness & delicious coffee, Cristos!
Fantastic coffee and other treats! Gluten free options as well as 6 different kinds of milks and dairy free whipped cream!!! Relaxing positive atmosphere. Super friendly staff. If feel like wearing a mask cool, if not also cool! Plus they absolutely love America.
I love this place so much! They have such great coffee and are such supporters of the community. I love that their employees wear masks and it’s open to the community. They’ve created a safe space for people to go and not feel the ugly weight of COVID. I love this place and the owners’ heart is in a good place!
Call this review snobby if you like, but I do have a ton of experience in the industry…so heres goes: I feel like the last thing the world needs is another example of how bad coffee can taste and how much sugar you need to make it taste acceptable. I don’t know where the roaster gets the coffees, whether they are Commodity grade or Specialty, but I’d assume the former, due to the dark roast level (what are you trying to cover up by roasting that dark? Defects, probably). The staff was very friendly and I feel bad that they weren’t properly trained on how to make coffee, how to brew espresso, how to steam, how to pour, and on the general qualities of coffees from different regions. I don’t at all hope they go out of business, but it sure would be nice for independent shops like this to do their research on their main product and put some care into it. My advice to the owner is to give the following books to your staff and let them begin the learning process: 1. Every book by Scott Rao. 2. Water for Coffee 3. Blue Bottle Craft of Coffee, God in a Cup 4. Subscribe to Standart and Drift Magazines. I promise you’ll be transformed after those. Best of luck.
This place is wonderful! Always a welcoming staff, fun friendly atmosphere. I could care less about their mask policies, and the people who are scared should stay away, or just wear a mask when they are in there.100% recommend, always!
What a lovely gem! My daughter found this place and fell in love with it. I was skeptical but decided to give it a shot. What a pleasant surprise. This is a great coffee shop with really good Chai Tea and treats. My youngest got the gluten free chocolate zucchini cake and loved it.Also for the reviewers that are upset about the “no mandatory mask” thing. This shop is very safe and sanitary. The people that made our drinks and rang us up wore masks and a lot of the patrons also were wearing masks until they sat down. The bathrooms were also very clean. From a virus standpoint I felt less likely to catch something here than in most big box stores I’ve been in.
Cristos is such a great and friendly place to visit! It’s worth the drive from Longmont to Erie! We absolutely love it! We personally choose to wear a mask and take them off when we sit down. Our son doesn’t wear a mask (nose problems) and we feel very comfortable walking in to a clean place knowing we will NOT BE SHAMED for him not wearing a mask! We choose Cristos, because we feel at home and are treated like family!
Love their hot chocolate! Pair with a pastry for a sweet treat. Love the ambiance and their new location is fabulous and cozy. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!
$5 for a small 12oz latte that tasted badly and watered down, not my idea of a good time.
Love, love, love this place!! They have adorable hand-written signs that let us know were beautiful and loved. Their staff is friendly, and the owners are sweet and caring. Like many businesses, they have struggled throughout the pandemic, but they are staying loyal to their values, and make sure their patrons feel comfortable and welcome. We will not go to any other cafe now!
I like this place a lot, though I am not a coffee drinker myself. The new space they just moved into is great, so much bigger and nicer than before, great place to sit and relax and chat. I for one also am a conservative leaning business owner in the area as well, and I really get sick of seeing great places like this get drug through the mud with fake negative reviews from liberals. There are plenty of other coffee shops like Starbucks that will cater to every liberals desire, in fact there are probably 10 within 5 miles of my house, maybe more. This is a mom and pop local family owned business, let them do their thing while you go virtue signal somewhere else. Grow up, move along, take your money where you want to take it and be done with it.
Great coffee! Wonderful spot for our family! We love bringing our 2 year old here to read books while we drink our coffee. Employees have all been so helpful and friendly!
Staff is amazing and coffee is amazing! Seriously one of the best cold brews I’ve ever had! I love that they have themed coffees flavors for each Holiday and new month! On top of that. I am thankful for a place that gives me freedom to decide whether or not to wear a mask with no judgement. Due to health concerns, I understand the difficulty of wearing a mask. It is great to have a business that allows me to get my coffee however I want, mask or no mask. It is my God given right to decide how I will take care of my health, it’s not the job of the government or of any business. Thank you, Cristo’s for allowing me to keep my freedom to choose still mine.
Great coffee, and even better atmosphere.Edit: And now they are comparing mask mandates to the Holocaust on their Facebook. Time to go elsewhere.
I love this place! Always welcoming, non-discriminating based on masks (which should ALWAYS be a personal choice), clean and sunny place with amazing coffee and tea! I tell everyone to go there. Their matcha latte rocks!
Absolutely will visit every chance I can!! The atmosphere is perfect for a grab and go or stay a while to read/ get work done. Grateful for their commitment to America and care for our freedom.
Our family loves Cristos. The coffee is amazing and the pastries are delicious. The location is convenient and its children friendly. We appreciate the cleanliness and the friendly staff. Keep up the good work.
Love this place! Good values, good customers, great coffee! I love that they support all customers as provide amazing service. The staff are amazing and the vibe is perfect to sit and relax!
This place is so inviting! The coffee is amazing and the staff are all so nice. I love the different selections of coffee that they offer. Thankful to have this gem in Erie.
Love the coffee and the service is great. The new location is bigger and has a great relaxing atmosphere. My daughters love grabbing some delicious pastries and a coffee for mom. Great for all.
Its a nice environment. Its just ruined by the guy behind the counter complaining about his job, masks, customers, etc. He wants others to change their behavior. I would suggest to management that you might ask him to change his attitude towards people or find a job that doesnt involve working with the public. We are treated the way we treat people.
Beware, as having two small children without the ability to be vaccinated, this place was very anti-mask with very confrontational signs on the front door, therefore we will not be able to visit this establishment.
This place is great, with friendly, accommodating owners. They have great snack/pastry options and they promote other small local businesses. It is my understanding that the owner served in the military to preserve our right as adults to make our own informed decisions (not just to listen to what Mommy and Daddy Government tell us what to do)... If you have a problem with freedom of choice, put your hall-monitor pass away and go elsewhere... No one wants to hear a bunch of so-called adults whine like snotty-nosed little brats.Thank you Cristos!
Best coffee shop in Erie! The staff are super friendly and helpful. Service is fast. Wide selection of drinks for us non-caffeine people. Definitely our new go-to coffee shop!
Wonderful little coffee shop, havent had anything I disliked! And to top it off, the employees are always so kind
Last weekend was our very first time to Cristos! We loved the vibe and atmosphere of the coffee shop! Great ice tea and the strawberry scone was delicious! Will definitely be returning!
Great little place for coffee and treats. Warm and inviting, and awesome owners! The door is open for air flow, but up to you whether or not to wear a mask when I was last there - the county stance is “In Weld County, we believe in the individual responsibility of citizens to determine how best to protect themselves, their family, their business and their consumers,” Weld County Chair Mike Freeman said. I appreciate that!
Cristos Coffee is a great local brewer of fine coffees. Friendly staff who serve their customer with a pleasing YES! attitude. They earn my business by being consistent.
Love their coffee and there friendliness. If you haven’t been here it is a must try! You won’t be sorry! It’s great!!
This is by far my favorite coffee shop in the area! The owners are incredible! They are the kind of people that would give you a hug if you were having a bad day even if you’ve never met. In a world where people are losing their humanity this is a place where you can find it.
Such great coffee and nice staff! Also great selection of snacks. Always friendly faces any time I’ve stopped in
This is a fantastic coffee shop. I really enjoy the coffee and atmosphere. The workers are great! Cannot recommend it enough.
Great place! Great new location, people choose to hang out and grab coffee from Cristos.Their staff is the best! All these ladies behind the counter are exceptional in service and they care for the community in Erie.Keep up the good work!Cristos is open, their new location is open and the are ready to serve you!Thank you Cristos! You guys are the best! You rock!Stay strong! In God we Trust!
Such a great local coffee shop. Great coffee and food and the staff is awesome. Perfect little shop!
Latte was great but cashier was not wearing a mask. my breakfast burrito would have been tasty if it werent ice cold in the center, which I fault to the huge egg chunks.
Cristos is a great place to get some amazing coffee! Best coffee in Erie! Make sure you check it out. Taking all the safety precautions required as well to protect their customers.
It is April 16th 230pm and I called this coffee shop to see if they have outlets to plug my laptop in so I can work and drink some coffee. There is this guy that picked up the phone and he couldn’t hear me because my gps was on so he hung up. I’ve been trying to call again and the guy picks up the phone and hangs up without even letting me talk then he picks up the phone again and leaves it on the counter without taking my call... what kind of establishment behaves that way? Very unprofessional staff
As soon as we walked in, we were sold! Its so cozy and cute. They even have a little area with couches where you can sit and play some games. Their coffee is great, and they have yummy pastries too. We will be back soon!
Best coffee shop in Erie. Covid precautions in place. I felt safe, coffee is yummy, and many comfortable spaces to read, work and meet. Love the new location/space!
It’s an okay coffee shop. They aren’t ready by 7am with the day’s pastries or other items. Left overs only! The egg item they show in the website picture isn’t available. How about come in early and get ready for the breakfast rush. Just a thought #disappointed again!
Great tasting drinks so close to home! Lovely atmosphere with friendly baristas. I really enjoy Cristos.
Perfect place to go and meet friends. Coffee, tea and scrumptious bakery items. Staff is amazing!
This place is fantastic. Not just because of the offerings (great coffee, tea, and edibles), nor the service (incredibly friendly), nor the atmosphere (very warm and welcoming, and a great patio as well), but for the dedication to what has made our country the most amazing experiment in the history of mankind - freedom.Posting the 1st Amendment to the Constitution on the door? Brilliant. More people today need to actually read that. Handing out free copies of the entire Constitution? In this town? Where most of the population thinks Rights are things to be given and taken depending on the political winds? Unheard of bravery. This is my new favorite place in all of Erie. Perhaps all of Boulder County. It will have my undying support until the owners choose to close up shop. We need more businesses willing to stand up to the obnoxiously loud voices advocating for the death of freedom. If you care at all about freedom, youll support them as well.
Love Cristos Coffee and their new location! The staff and owner are so friendly and great to our community and the new location has plenty of space for social distancing while still being a comfy cozy coffee shop and they have a great corner are for kids oh and WONDERFUL DRINKS!
Our local coffee shop is a gem. Friendly, fast service and coffee that tastes perfect every time. We love Cristos Coffee!
Been going here since opening and am so happy this quaint little café grew into a beautiful new location! Wonderful selection of drinks and food and always friendly customer service!
I visited last week with my family and some friends, and we all loved it! They have delicious pastries - and vegan options! What a friendly environment (unfortunately very rare nowadays)! We will be going back often.
The best coffee place in Erie! They do practice social distancing, and really do take their customers safety first! If you want the best cup of coffee you can get in Erie, give them a try you will not be disappointed.
Cristos is the cutest, coziest little cafe around. We drive there from Westminster because its absolutely worth the trip! The owners are great, and they always make sure their customers feel comfortable and at home. We will continue to use Cristos for gatherings with friends and family!
Great place to get a nice coffee. Awesome at home feel when inside. Great customer service. Owners really go out of their way to give awesome customer service.
Love this place! The baristas are always super friendly and the coffee is great. A must when in Erie!
Cristos is a sprinkle of Joy needed to your day!! It’s a happy welcoming & inviting place to be!! My fave is an oat milk toffee nut latte!!
This place has consistent quality of their coffee and treats. The new location is roomy and awesome.
Great coffee! Excellent pastries! Amazing customer service! Can’t wait to go back!
One of my favorite coffee spots. Starbucks who? They have great specialty drinks and their espresso is really good. Very friendly staff and cozy atmosphere
Great coffee, great atmosphere, and great people. This is a gem of an establishment in Erie. Definitely must check it out!
The coffee is great and the service has always been very friendly. However, they are currently not practicing any sort of social distancing or limitation of people in the store. I went in the other day to a packed coffee house with no space between the tables. 20+ people in a confined space with no masks. Incredibly irresponsible. I wont be going back until either the virus has passed or they begin to take it seriously.
Yummy coffee and relaxing atmosphere. Super sweet staff ❤
I love Cristos! Best coffee, breakfast treats and service around!! Thank you for being amazing and so customer focused!!
Great coffee and service at a locally owned and operated shop! Love supporting local businesses!
Delicious coffee, many gluten-free options, very friendly staff, plus ample indoor and outdoor seating options. I am honored to support a local coffee shop that respects our choice in wanting to breathe freely. They are brave and compassionate business owners! Thank you!
Cristos has the best coffee in town. The baked goods are excellent and the staff is friendly.
Indoor dining is open in a red zone? Like come on. Masks are not required. No respect for those who are high risk and could die from covid. No guidelines are being followed. I wouldn’t come here ever again, complete disregard for human life.
My favorite coffee shop. Friendly, accommodating and have the best coffee in town. One of the few places here that value and respect their customers.
Love their coffee... love their pastries.. and great atmosphere. Its nice to sit someplace and have a cup of coffee with like minded folks who have a brain AND a spine... unlike the liberal twits who hang out at Starbucks.
This place is one of my favourites! Love supporting small business that offers high quality delicious coffee.
The staff are all kind and helpful, the owner is wonderful, coffee and creative assortment of packaged snacks are yummy and the environment is gorgeous!
Great fresh roasted coffee! been drinking it for several years here and never get tired of it.
The coffee is horrible (watered down), and I only came back for the cinnamon roll which was really good last time I was here, but as I was about to walk in, I saw they had posted a hand scrawled sign on the door with some weird political raving about the governor and being anti mask and a bunch of other loony bin stuff. Im not sure why they think promoting that a place that prepares food is anti health regulations is a good idea, but I just turned around and went somewhere else; the cinnamon rolls werent good enough to deal with that sort of crazy.
I love this coffee spot! The coffee, the staff, and the fact that they are not natzees is refreshing! They respect their patrons and our freedom! I love that!
