Aaron is by far the best with customer service and helping you with your problem in and out of the store helped me with my ps5 issue last week with the new update 1.40 version took time on his day off to send me YouTube videos how to fix the issue and even offered to fix it for me . Great prices! Check the games before you leave. We bought 5 games, 1 ended up being super scratched and another was missing. Returned them and got 2 new ones, didnt check them like I should have, the one game case had a completely different game in it..

The shop is well organized and has an excellent inventory of games and gaming platforms. There are also refurbished home computers and laptops at fairly reasonable prices. The owner is quite friendly and helpful, and he really knows his stuff. I recommend this store to anyone looking for home electronics.

They were sold out of every system except n64 what kind of gaming store is this? My roommate got an xbox one from here and the online adapter malfunctions all the time so we have to get an ethernet cord. Shady business

Went for dvds and we were happy with selection, helpful sales person.

The owner went above and beyond helping me select the device I wanted for my sons birthday. He even extended the warranty because it was a few weeks before the birthday and he wanted it actually to get used before the return period ran out. I will absolutely buy here again.

Sold my Apple Watch to two gentlemen working here. Not sure of their names, but we had a lovely conversation while they were looking it over and I enjoyed their company. I got about the amount I expected for the watch, no surprises there!

Favorite Place to Trade and Sell Video Games

Just got a Nintendo Switch from here; it was used, but youd never know it! Incredible condition, great pricing. Im going back today to grab some more games! This place blows the competitors out of the water, even the big name stores.

We make it a point while we visit areas camping to stop and shop at local hobby shops . The photos on the search showed a wall of RC cars and trucks. I was very excited as we pulled up to see a Traxxas sign and RC cars on thier sign. There were exactly zero ! Not one car, truck anything on the shelf. Wasted trip ! I cant speak for thier other services but the RC were nonexistent.

I gave this place 5 stars previously it is now a 1 star. I do not know if it is under new management or what but I went in, the service was rude, the guy got all political, and they didnt have the item I had just called and asked them if they had and confirmed. This is not the first time I received bad service but it will be the last, I only stay a customer so long before I stop patronizing a business that treats customers so awful.

The worker Ive talked to the few times Ive been there was extremely personable and nice to talk to. He was helpful and shared the same interests in games as me, so it feels like my kind of store. Cant say anything for the RC side but they have good deals on used games and systems.

Slowly working my way back into the RC hobby. The staff was very helpful and patient with my questions and concerns. Its hard to find staff that is well informed on products nowadays. Shoppers are typically left to do their own research online.

This place is fantastic and the owner/employees are always very nice and helpful. I dont understand all the negative reviews I think people are just hating because they are used to gamestop and other corporate electronics stores where they buy everything and have unlimited inventory. There just some local nerds running a business and doing a.really good job. They deserve way more love

I went for retro games and the selection was my good. Just as an example, all Atari games were 4.95. Way over priced. I only saw 1 game that was decent, double dragon 2 for $10 but had a lot of label damage.

Play World is HORRIBLE! My experience: I drove many miles to visit Play World and from their website it looked nice, WRONG, it was a dump, the place was filthy. The place was covered in dust, smelled like mildew, and I believe that there was mold in the ceiling or walls! There was only about 70% of the stuff that they had in the pictures and the place looked like it was run by pigs. The guy behind the counter was cursing and using foul language when talking to a customer when a bunch of small children where around! These guys were cursing left and right and didnt care at all. they were full on said the F-Bomb multiple times. It was saddening. After that I had found a lord of the Rings collectors set for all three of the movies, there were gray/white tags on each that said $2.99 or $3.99 but the movies were not in the box but instead behind the counter in a small room. I brought the empty cases to the guy behind the main counter (if you could even call it that) and he went to the back room to get the movies, he came back and asked if I wanted the movies and then I noticed that he had put a pink $9.99 sticker on the top right of each box. I said then said: wait, those stickers werent on there before then the guy behind the counter flipped out and started yelling! He was yelling at me to: GET THE F**K OUT OF THE STORE, IM SERIOUS LIKE THE PLAGUE!.(that is what he really said) At that point I was so confused that I just stood there for a moment and tried to find out what just happened and why he freaked out. I wasnt intimidated because he was a low testosterone, short, (around) 52, 300lb, man-baby that smelled really bad and looked like he lived in his moms basement and played video games all day. (Im not targeting or harassing him, I am just stating his appearance) I hadnt done anything wrong and had been friendly to everyone the entire time I was there! Im not sure if he had flipped out at me because I caught him changing the price and lying or if he flipped out because he has very few friends and works at a dump. He looks kinda like the guy in the photo that I will add. Extremely disappointed and saddened at the quality of the place and the employees. It could be much better. (I AM NOT MAKING FUN OF THE GUY, JUST DESCRIBING WHAT HE LOOKS LIKE)

He began to answer the phone not saying a word sitting on the phone in silence for about 30 seconds to say can I help you or what I told him what I had speaker wise to get rid of an got a nasty response of not looking for anything and hung the phone up. Never will I contact or visit this place.

I went to this store several years ago and they were really rude to me. Then their old location got demolished and they got a new place. I decided to go there again because it was in a new building and I had hoped that they would have gotten rid of the rude worker. I went into the new place and I was treated very poorly. Why do they expect people to buy stuff if all they are is rude to the customers. I had like 2 questions for the owner but that was just too much for the owner to handle even though there was no one else in the store. I would have bought something if I wasnt treated so bad.

Playworld RC is awesome. The manager for playworld RC Greg Is very nice and gets the job done in just in a few days or less. Almost any part you need is under 20 bucks. I think any one reading this needs to go and shop there super nice people!

They are fair about the prices they give you for your trade ins, as well as what they sell. The employees arent very friendly, but if you are looking for a place with good working used entertainment items, this place is wonderful for it.

The store was very disappointing from what they had posted on their website. I dont remember reading that you had to order the radio controlled items and then pick them up. It was mostly a repeat of many other kinds of stories with games games games games games.

Good toys but way overpriced in some cases.

Greg that runs the RC shop is great to work with, knowledgeable and stays competitive with online shops.

I went in with my RC, and blew quite a bit on parts I needed, but the prices were fair, maybe marked up a little, but its a hobby shop, its there for when you need a part right now. Anyways, Greg helped me and my little brother with beefing up our toys. He was knowledgeable, easy to talk with, and willing to help above all. Ive been in multiple times and I love goin in just to look at the RCs and all the parts I could throw at my toy. I think every time Ive been in there Ive stayed over an hour at least just lookin at stuff and thinking of ideas. My other little brother ventured into the games section and got(if I remember correctly) 4 or 5 games at low prices, which all worked btw. Overall, I love the place and hope its here to stay.

Good prices can find just about anything

I absolutely love this place. Its not too large and the employees there are EXTREMELY helpful! They have good games for cheap. (I got Pokemon LeafGreen for 15 bucks.) The one worker allowed me to test out a gamesystem that i was intrested in, Gameboy SP, it worked just fine and even threw in a GBA link cable for free, which I also tested. This is an excellent place to go to, I highly suggest it for nerds everywhere!

Stood by the counter waiting for help wanted a laptop, not a single employee approached or asked if we needed help and they werent helping other customers just talking about out of work stuff. After 10 mins figured might as well spend my money somewhere else. Sucks because I believe in supporting small local businesses.

The guy with the pony tail and glasses sucks but aside from him Ive been treated very well everytime Ive been there. The playworld rc side is what has been most impressive to me. Greg is very knowledgeable and willing to help. While I was a poor college student he would wheel and deal with me and kept my hobby affordable. Rude worker... was a bit disappointed with the customer service.I had gone in to see if they sold a charger for my sons laptop and all the had were universal chargers. He said that their charger would work because it was hp, but I told him I was just at Best buy and they showed me two universals and neither would work. I asked if he could open it and show me the ends and he told me no that I had to buy it. So I asked if I just bought it and checked it and it didnt work if I could return it. He told me no that he didnt have time that I could buy it and return it another day. He kept sighing like he was annoyed with me and I wasnt please with his attitude.I came back another time and was looking at some of the Skylanders for my son and different rep was nice and told me he had a box of Skylanders in the back and showed me and I bought a few.I came back a couple days later and the rep that I talked about the cord with was back... I asked if I could see the Skylanders in the box in the back and he said there was none. I told him they had just showed me a box the other day and he told me they sold out of them. I had a suspicion that the guy was just not wanting to show me them so I left and came back the next day. There thankfully was a different rep that day and I asked him if they had any Skylanders in the back and he pulled out the box. I said oh I thought these were all gone? He told me no.Im not sure whats up with the reps attitude with me, and you think he would be a bit nicer to a paying customer. I am have always been friendly with him even when he got rude.
