They went above and beyond to install new carpeting and flooring throughout all but 2 rooms within my house. They made sure that it was completed before moving in and ensured we had quality products! Extremely happy with how my floors turned out and the installation crews were amazing and friendly! Made sure we were well informed on care of our new flooring as well.

Ive been searching for carpet in our den for the past week. Went to many of the carpet stores in Erie. What I found extremely frustrating was the carpet samples by many of the manufactures are a mix of colors on an oversize awkward heavy board. The sample boards were not conducive to placing them against our wall or furniture to help us get a good perspective on how well the carpet matches the room. When I walked into Shillings I had a smile from ear to ear. A majority of their carpet samples were mat size samples where you could take the sample and easily place them in areas where sample boards simply cant fit! The color tone my wife and I are looking at are very close in range. To have a mat size sample to work with makes a world of difference! It quickly narrowed down the color and tone we wanted after getting a perspective in different areas of our room. Im really surprised manufactures are continuing to use those heavy awkward sample boards! Thanks Shillings! It really narrowed down the selection and color process quickly. The salesman was also very friendly and helpful.

We originally got an estimate from a big box store that suddenly became $700 more than we had originally been quoted with 30 percent waste. We decided to check out Shillings and we are so glad we did. We got great customer service, fairly priced carpet with minimal waste and the best part it was ordered and installed within two weeks in time for Christmas. We couldn’t be happier. We will definitely use them again for our flooring needs.

I have 3 kids and 2 dogs and a cat. I called Schillings, they came out and did an amazing job cleaning my carpets. The gentleman that came out and did the work was Matt Leonard. He was very nice and respectful, could not have asked for a nicer person...its a shame that I can only give 5 stars. Id definitely recommend them for all your carpet needs.

Theyre all very friendly. The price was reasonable and they worked around a busy office schedule. We painted before we installed the carpet so the coving would go over the fresh paint. The carpet looked great. I only had two issues. They fixed a desk support they broke, which I was happy with the result, but the install team scuffed or scraped every wall in my office. One or two was expected, but 20-30 scuffs was a bit excessive for having 16 walls. I now have magic eraser marks all over the walls which cost thousands to paint three days prior.

Just got carpet and installed very easy process and great work done by professionals made my room go from ugly to classy thank you Kayla and her dad,& Matt and all the other staff your the best!!!!!!

If you are looking for a reliable carpet company that offers timely service, this is not the place for you. Carpet One did not show up on the proper scheduled measuring date. When they showed up the following week to measure my basement I was told that I would have an estimate within a couple days. I called a week later and was told again I would be receiving it in a couple days. I called the following week and still no estimate. It has now been 3 weeks. Needless to say, I went to Home Depot and they were at my home in 3 days with an estimate.

I needed carpet in my old house so that we could get it on the market. I chose Schillings on some recommendations from friends. The house is empty and there was no short deadline, so I figured that it would be an easy job. I met with Jeff Weyand and picked out the carpet, had him do the estimate, and paid in full.After the job was supposed to be done I went over to inspect and found a big pile of carpet and padding scraps in one room, and none of my closet doors installed. I called Mr. Weyend on a Tuesday and explained my issues. He agreed that the scraps should have been removed and the doors installed, but told me that they were having issues with their vans so he couldnt have anyone come out for a few days. He promised to call me by Friday to let me know when someone could be out. I got no call Friday and on Tuesday I called and left a message. On Wednesday afternoon I still hadnt heard anything so I actually went back over to the Schillings showroom and was able to talk to Mr. Weyand. He seemed surprised that the work hadnt been done and told me that he hadnt checked his messages since early yesterday. He said he would talk to his installer and promised that they would be out there to correct everything I the morning.When I stopped after work check the work walked upstairs I found the pile of carpet scraps and my closet doors still uninstalled. I called again and was able to speak to Mr. Weyand. I told him that nothing had been done and he said he would have the installer get a hold of me.Within ten minutes I got a call from the installer who, in an accusing tone, asked if I was the person who kept calling and saying that he hadnt come to the house. I said that I was indeed that person, because it appeared he hadnt. He told me that he was there and he picked up the scraps. I told him that the scraps were still sitting in my house, and he replied that he had taken the padding scraps and that the scraps he left were the good scraps that I could use if anyone spilled anything. I then said that my closet doors were also not installed and he replied Well I didnt take them off. At this point I was very angry and confused by this conversation but I know that arguing with an idiot never gets you anywhere. I told the installer that I would find a handyman to install my doors and told him to have a good day before hanging up on him.The fact that the padding scraps were mixed in with the carpet shows that this was the installers garbage pile and I have a feeling that he was simply too lazy to haul it all out of there, so he just left it. Even if they were good scraps (and they really arent), I dont understand how much clearer I could have been about not wanting them. Also, doors have to be reinstalled after the flooring because the height of the flooring changes, regardless of who takes the doors off. Either the installer didnt know that or was just to lazy to do the work....I do not know which option is worse.After I hung up on the installer I left the house and locked it up. I got several calls and texts from Schillings. I ignored the calls, but the texts promised to finally fix this problem. But it was too little too late, as I simply cant trust them to actually do anything that they say. I have also given them more than enough time and opportunities and they failed at all of them.If you do still decide to go to Schillings I would suggest putting down only the minimum deposit on your job and doing a very thorough walk-through before you pay the balance. If you do that they might actually respond to you in a timely and adequate fashion, because I can assure you that, at least in my case, they could not have cared less....

I Call the Schillings carpet store to get a quote on cleaning the service technician Matt Leonard stopped out gave me a quote that was unbelievable and told me he could clean my carpets and get them back to the new state. I had them clean my carpets. I was amazed at the condition of the carpet after he was done cleaning
