I am so very pleased with Lakefront Flooring. They were hired through Lowe’s to install my kitchen floor. Lowe’s had me purchase all the supplies needed for the job, and the wonderful men working on my floor ended up not needing the material and told me that I could return it to save some money. Instead of cutting into a large piece of plywood I had bought, they used some scrap plywood they had in their truck since the space needing fixed was so small. I can’t tell you how much that helped me out to save that money. That to me shows that they care about their customers. They also were very helpful when I called with a couple questions months later. So very helpful and kind. My floor looks beautiful, it’s holding up beautifully. I am very happy.

We were very impressed and would highly recommend Lakefront for carpet replacements. We had our second floor and one stairway carpet completely replaced by Lakefront Flooring in December 2020. The guys worked really hard and quick. As a note, we removed almost all the furniture to reduce any dings in the walls and to expedite its completion. That said, the guys finished it in 1 1/2 days.In terms of the carpet selection... they listened to our wishes closely and gave us strong guidance. The carpet we have installed really looks nice, and it’s really comfortable. Finally, they offered to and successfully cut the bottom of our doors so that they wouldn’t rub on the carpet. One door had some paint issues, but you’re going to have that. They kept this extra work within time and original quote.The one beef we had was an employee that talked really loud... only mattered during the pandemic as we had an adult working at home and three kids going to school remotely.All in all... super fast, great quality work, strong guidance, and good communication. I’d highly recommend.

They did a professional job-a 2,000 sq foot apartment that needed carpet installed. They took time to clean up afterwards and no marks on the walls! I definitely would recommend them to anyone who wants the job done right!!

Lakefront Flooring is a small “boutique” flooring store with a really great selection of products to choose from. I highly recommend stopping in here before purchasing flooring from anywhere else!

I have mixed feelings about writing this review because everyone at Lakefront has been very friendly and their prices are fair, but I have to give them 3 stars for a couple reasons. First off, I scheduled a consultation and the guy never showed up. When I called them to see what happened, they just apologized and said it was an unfortunate error on their part and rescheduled. When the guy eventually did come and measured our space, he measured WRONG so the carpet installers didnt have enough to finish the job. They said they would come back in about a week to finish once they recieved the supplies. 11 days pass and they never showed up so I called again and they said they did receive my supplies but the scheduler would need to call me to set up a day for them to come back. Well, that was 2 days ago and she still hasnt called me. We have a partially carpeted floor with nails sticking up all over the place and no date for when it will be finished and Im getting more annoyed with every passing day.

Within the last year, we have purchased tile, carpet and wood stair treads from the Lakefront Flooring showroom on West 12th Street. The showroom staff is awesome, helpful and so patient! Lakefront Flooring installers installed all these items in our home in a timely, professional manner. We had an issue with one of the treads, which prompted a visit from the owner to review and resolve the problem. My stairs look like they were done by a 1st grader. I was told 3 weeks ago they would fix it and I am still waiting. When I call I keep getting the same response---a manager is reviewing it to see how they can make it right. Just about every stair looks like the below images.

Recently had a carpet stretch and re-splice job to do in the refurbished attic of the new house. The team did a fantastic job of salvaging the carpet and making it serviceable again. They also vacuumed after the work! Could not be happier with the execution of the task!

The carpet they installed looks amazing you cant even tell there is a seam in it. they scuffed up my wall a little bit and their customer service about this issue was great.

Was giving a estimate in August and now is October Still not in. Came Oct 7 to put them down said sorry floors not level. Have them fixed and we will working you back in Called today cant work us back in for 2 weeks. We have no rugs just the sub floor. Not Happy!!!

Bad customer service and horrible communication. We went to get carpet and tile for our house. The guy showed me the tile to pick out and told me to take it home and bring it back when we decided. I brought it back and told them which ones I liked and the guy said oh no you cant choose these you were suppose to pick from this section. Well I was only choosing from what he had told me. Then finally after getting what we thought was everything straightened out they never added in the carpet for instulation when I had picked it out at the same time. So we finally said forget it we will go with a different company, so they charged us a $300 restocking fee and never apologized for the 2 errors in communication that they had. Ugh dont use this company, my parents also had problems with them as well.
