Honestly, this is some of the best customer service Ive ever had. After calling for a tow truck my phone died before I was able to give Rick My complete location, he went out looking and eventually found me. He was able to help pinpoint some of the problems with my motorcycle and work with me so that I was able to continue my trip. He was even gracious enough to drive me to a hotel he helped me find at the end of the day. My whole experience with Rick Sornberger automotive was excellent, he went above and beyond what I ever would have expected.

I was rescued by the kindness of Rick Sornberger Automotive. 4 hours into a 6 hour road trip from Michigan to a campsite in Pennsylvania I had a tire blow on my pop-up camper. After working with/waiting on AAA for 6 hours and sitting on the side of the freeway I called Rick Sornberger (after normal business hours) and left a voicemail with a plea for help. Rick called me back and after giving some additional detail determined that he may be able to help. Not only did he come to get our blown tire and spare tire (which was unusable) but he also coordinated getting a new tire on the blown and replacing the missing stem valve from the spare. Within 2 hours of my first call to him I was back on the road and able to make it to my campsite later that night.Rick is an absolute stand up person who could have charged me an arm and a leg, but gave us a very reasonable price for his above and beyond assistance. He saved the day when AAA fell short. He left his dinner table to save a stranger from Michigan on the side of the freeway when he could have easily ignored my message. If you have a need for roadside assistance in the Erie area, Rick has my full support!

These guys towed my car when my transmission went out. Fast, professional, affordable and most importantly (no offense other tow companies) but I didnt feel at all like I was over paying. I was nervous about getting a tow, and in the end, Im glad I did it. No regrets. Good company.

My electric car needed to be towed. It’s battery was totally discharged (“my bad”). I called Nissan Roadside Assistance and they sent Rick Sornberger. I was very glad they did! Rick was helpful and a really nice guy.The car was in my garage and would not start, so it could not be shifted into Neutral to push it out. Rick did the problem-solving and safely moved it; loaded it on the tow truck platform and delivered it to my dealer’s service garage.Thank you, Rick.

Transmission went out on interstate and this wrecker service had a very fast response and fair price. Dispatcher, driver and owner were professional and courteous and made an unexpected situation a pleasant experience.

Outstanding service! The mechanic inspecting my vehicle called to inform me that although my rear breaks would pass, they were very low and should be replaced very soon. He was able to replace the breaks and rotors that afternoon, which was very convenient and most importantly, made my vehicle much safer, especially with bad weather soon arriving.

Rick and his crew went above and beyond to help me during a tight situation. I had just moved to the area and he was able to assist me with an issue that every other garage was unable to help me with. Whether its a simple tow or mechanical repair...do yourself a huge favor and call Rick.

Car broke down this morning and was stranded on the side of the road. Within 30 minutes of me calling, they were there to tow it to my mechanic. Rick, the tow truck driver, looked under my car and found the problem and relayed the information to my mechanic. Outstanding work!

Got a rack and pinion installed. I was told it would have a life time warranty if I get a filter installed to it. Everything went well until I went to leave work and I lost all power steering because the whole filter exploded and leaked out all the fluid. This happened 3 times. After the 3rd time they never fixed it and left me hanging. I gave up and sold my car later down the road after not wanting to deal with it again.

Oil change with no drama. Care taken, still clean inside when job was done. No cross threaded oil plug. Good crew. Recommend!

While on vacation I missed seeing my family for Christmas, after I return I hear about an encounter between my father and this man, after all the snow issues Im sure rick was out helping people. My father went around him while he was towing someone due to his jeep having 4wd. Rick then followed my father and shouted obscenities at him about his driving. Please do not use this mans services, clearly he has no respect for people, and on Christmas of all the days.

Only giving 4 stars because they are quite expensive compared to others but I called they were here in 15 minutes and during winter during on and off snow and ice so they are good as far as getting to you quicker when you need them even though they are expensive I will call them again when and if needed the lady on the other end of the phone is very nice.
