Staff is knowledgeable, reasonable prices and good quality of work. Had issue with delivery of car, gave my car at 11am, originally told that it will be up to 3 hours and then before the close of business(5pm). Finally handed over to me at 5:30pm. I was totally fine if they would have told me it will be 5:30pm, but they missed all the communication about delay or original estimate.

Horrible service. Terrible experience.I went in for a simple oil change I had scheduled weeks prior. I had been waiting for an hour and a half when the technician pulled me into the repair room to “show me something”. He had apparently stripped the threads on the oil pan. The technician and manager (Shane) both exclaimed it “wasn’t there fault” and threatened me they would make me leave with a dripping oil pan!I was forced to pay triple what I originally was told! Never visit this store!

Was originally told i was in dire need of new brakes. Turns out thats not true, and I really appreciate the new owner not putting brakes that i did not need on my car (saved me $$). And they also helped me get rid of the tire light that wouldnt go away no matter how many times i checked the air, for free! Super friendly and helpful!

This is a two-part review, so make sure and read all of this. Despite the slow start, I would definitely recommend this location and will definitely go back.The visit did not start off very well, as they didnt even look at my car until 5 hours after I dropped it off. I specifically made an appointment for 9:00 a.m. When I called several hours later, I was told that everyone had an appointment. Not really sure how that works if everyone gets an appointment.After the slow start, some challenging communication, and incorrect parts being ordered, everything was made right. Mickaylin went out of her way to clear up the issues. She figured out why the wrong parts had been sent over and got additional parts over ASAP. And Anthony did a great job working on the vehicle.Will definitely bring my vehicle back for future service.

I was referred to Brakes Plus in Erie after buying new tires at Discount Tires in Lafayette. My date of service was Wednesday afternoon, 10-6-21. I only interacted with the Gentleman and young lady at the front desks, but I cant recall their names even though they told me. They showed me an analysis of my wheels that indicated I needed a full alignment, which did not surprise me since I could visually see I needed it even though there were no symptoms. I really enjoyed my time there talking to them as my car was being serviced. They were both very personable and professional, not to mention that the price was right too! I certainly will return for any future mechanical needs that they can service. Keep up the great work and thanks again!

If you are like me, not mechanically inclined but need a place you can trust with your vehicle, this is the place for you! My suv had a strange sound and the check engine light kept coming on. I took it to several other places but none could figure out what it was. I took it to Leah and Tim and they not only figured out what it was, but took care of it right away. They were so nice and went above and beyond! I can’t believe what a pain free experience this was… They patiently explained what was wrong and needed fixing now. They also explained what I’d need in the future so I can plan appropriately. I will never go anywhere else!!!! Leah and Tim, you are the best!!!!! I highly, highly, highly recommend!!!!! PS)The only thing this place lacks is a shop dog. Every shop needs a dog!!!

Great team and great service at this location. My car was in need of a slew of minor repairs. The mechanics were able to tackle all of them. The car was ready the next day and is running as smooth as butter now. I will be returning here for future maintenance, and I recommend this shop to anyone that is looking for a repair shop to settle on.

I went in for an oil change during finals week, where I was so stressed that the oil change required light turning on in my car was the catalyst for a full breakdown and the last thing I wanted to deal with. Some plastic bit had also broken and was dangling under my car and I said if it was possible to fix then please add it onto the service. Imagine my surprise when I came back to pick up my car (quicker than the estimated completion time) and not only had Tim fixed dangly plastic bit for no charge, but he also replaced the broken windshield wiper that I hadnt even mentioned. That level of extra service meant everything to me and turned my whole week around. Even though I dont even live in Erie anymore, Ill bypass three closer locations to go back to this one. Id give 30 stars if I could.

Went in because someone told me I needed new break pads. Turns out mine were fine. Staff here is very knowledgeable and honest. They called me and told me the truth and sent me on my way. I will definitely be going here for all my future maintenance. Highly recommend.

Not only did Brakes Plus plus make it happen, they did it in only one afternoon and for half the cost of what Ford had quoted.They even saw that my wipers were being held on by zip ties and replaced those for me too! After Discount Tire cross threaded a wheel stud while installing new tires and then could not fix the problem. I was sent to Brakes Plus. The fine folks at Brakes Plus Erie, squeezed me in, fixed the issue, and billed Discount Tire for the trouble. Their staff, especially their manager and the gentleman who worked on my truck, not only fixed the problem but were helpful, friendly, and offered some great advice. I really appreciate their willingness to fix someone elses mistake.

The first time I went in there I wasn’t impressed and went elsewhere for the last several months. Went back today, because of their location, and it’s a completely different operation. Shane was great, communication was better than expected, customer service was awesome, and they did great work.

Ive been telling friends about my excellent experience with Brakes Plus in Erie and thought Id spread the word a bit further. During a recent (excellent) brake job there was a minor glitch — no ones fault, really — but the owner insisted on going the extra mile to make it perfect. Spreaking of extra miles, I drive past another Brakes Plus to get to the Erie store. Its well worth the trip.

I saw consistent great customer service, great attitudes, and even an older woman was told that they determined she did not need an oil change as she had not been driving much. The employees were so nice and professional! they did my oil change and even informed me about another part on my car that needed to be changed and ordered the part for it to be fixed the next day! I really appreciated that as I’m not a car person so I don’t know when things need to be replaced 😅 I felt like they were only doing to my car what really needed to be done and not trying to rip me off r be shady in anyway. They also offer a shuttle which is great cause I work nearby. This is my new favorite brakes plus!

There is a new manager who jumped right in and took a look at the car right away. He diagnosed the problem which thankfully turned out to be minor and had me on my way again really quickly!
