I went through the Hunter Education class, and passed the class. I arrived there to purchase a 22G Henry single shot. But was denied. I just wanted to hunt rabbits, and squirrels. Many knowledgeable men and women will answer your questions! Visit them!

These are difficult times in this industry, given the lack of availability of product. I will continue to try and support this locally owned small business.

Very disappointed with this place when I called the guy was very rude told me one price through the phone when in person told me a higher price these the owner on this place should be ashamed of him self he treats his customers very rudely second time I called he just hung up the phone on me after I asked questions about a rifle. They just lost an 1800 dollar sale because the sales guy wouldnt let me touch a Colt new frontier they have for sale. Was a real jerk about it. Just means they will never get any money out of me again.

Smallest selection of ammo and firearms in a gun shop that I have ever seen in my entire life. Called to see if they had 3” 12 gauge loads and they said they had some when they did not. Second time they did not have what I was looking for. Never going back again.

The staff is friendly. I called them asking about Glock products.They said there out of stock of all glock products. When I go in they have a few glocks why be dishonest.

I purchased my CZ online and used Presque Isle as my shipping FFL. They promptly called when the item arrived. I went filled out the papers and paid a fee of about 35 dollars for the transfer. The two gentleman in the store were nice and seamed happy I used them for the transfer. All in all I was very happy with my transaction. Ill be back.On a side note another customer got a great deal on a like new Beretta when I was waiting. I was jealous over his purchase.

Only place that had blue dot powder. I drove from outside buffalo there the only ones that had it would deffently go again.

I stopped in to see if they would price match Field and Streams price. The owner was extremely ignorant and has no personality at all. He told me he would within reason I said is 20 bucks within reason he said yes. I asked if I would still get my Military discount that they so proudly advertise. He said one or the other, that he wont do both. I turned around and walked out. As I got to the door he tried stopping me but I was disgusted and kept walking.Field and stream had a lower price by 20 dollars and STILL honored the 5% military and veteran discount they advertise. I am a combat veteran and do not believe anybody owes me anything.... Except when they offer it then I feel like I deserve it. If you dont want to honor our veterans and active duty then dont advertise it and try to act like you support our troops.Fellow veterans go to field and stream. The customer service is above and beyond and the prices are lower than Presque isle gun shops prices.... What a rip off!

First gun didnt fire waited for them to send it out to be fixed, 12 days later they said it would cost more to fix it then what it was worth. Why did you sell this.firearm.

There is no other gun store in the Erie, PA region that competes with Presque Isle Gun. Dave Wurst and his partners will give the best value for trade ins, and given enough time they will get whatever firearm you desire. I have tried to beat his prices by using Gunbroker, but he always matches or comes in lower on most everything using the GB barometer. Presque Isle gun has excellent and competitive prices on both ammo and gear, and will find you those odd cartridges. I recommend all my friends to the small town feel, but big town options at Presque Isle Gun.

Updated review, I had purchased several pistols here. I wanted something more Target oriented and decided to trade in my prior purchase. The person behind the counter clearly had no firearm knowledge. Incorrectly identify the pistol and offered $165.00 AFTER correctly identify the pistol (a as new M&P V-TAC edition 9mm) while absorbing this information I hear him selling sniper subsonic ammunition to a woman who was using a .22 semiautomatic for self defense! This is what happens when you give friends and family jobs based on personal relationships. Later that day I traded the pistol in at Keystone Armoury for just under $400.00...

The owner was extremely rude and short with us simply because we were not as informed as he is on guns and accessories. We felt unwelcome and insulted by the man and will not be returning to this shop. Work on your customer service skills sir, Im sorry Im not as American as you since I dont devote my life to guns.

This is the only firearms dealer I deal with. They are very reputable, knowledgeable and patient. Whether you are and old hand or a beginner you will be treated well.They also have military and law enforcement discounts.

Allow me to retract my original 5 star rating. Purchase was great. Dealt with a guy who gave me a box of shells as the PIC system was down and I had to come back next day. Awesome.Made my purchase approx 3 weeks ago. Brand new.Came in today. I was only person in the store. My pistol will not breakdown for cleaning. I wanted some professional advise as I just spent $500. I was told by Dave and I quote I dont know anything about the takedown on those guns. Im a Glock guy.Call S & W- I dont know anything about those ShieldsFunny when making a $500 purchase, it was the best thing since sliced bread. Product knowledge is key. Seems like since I wasnt spending money at that moment he didnt care to help me.I took it out to Bobs in McKean, not only did he know I didnt buy the gun there, but he disassembled it and fixed the problem in 10 minutes. For free to help a newbie out. So I bought range time, an IWB holster, and 200 rounds. Same business I would have given Presque Isle had I recieved ANY advice. A stranger would have thought I had the plague when I walked in. Poor customer service and I wont be back. For the record, all of my business will be done at Bobs from now on. He seems to care about the little guy, not the guy who walks in and drops $700 on a Glock because the Internet said so.
