Located down in the quayside in Lymington, with partial views around the quayside. Plenty of seating inside and out. Good selection of light bites, starters, mains and desserts. Prompt good service, tasty food. The only issue was a number of flies in the restaurant that constantly bothered you when eating (otherwise would have given a 5*) another nice touch would reduce the lighting inside to make it a bit more personal and romantic. However definitely worth a visit.
Lovely waterside restaurant with great views and great value delicious food. The portions were enormous. The staff were all welcoming, professional and attentive, even to the dog. We were lucky and managed to get a table despite not booking although it was pretty busy at lunch so I would advise booking particularly for the evenings when I imagine it gets really busy!
We topped off a lovely dog walk around the sea wall the other night with an aperol & cider at the Haven. We were given such a lovely warm welcome, even the dog. Shown to a table on the terrace, which we were lucky to get, it was busy and we hadnt booked. I just wish wed planned ourselves better and booked a table for food. I know its delicious from previous visits. The Haven team are always friendly, helpful and welcoming. Thanks team, well be back again soon.
The Haven Bar and Restaurant not only has an enviable location nestled amongst the marina yachts but offers excellent food and service. On my visit I had oysters, white bait, dressed crab and panna cotta - all were excellent. The staff were really helpful and polite and always around when needed. And finally - a fine selection of drinks available.Overall I would thoroughly recommend.
Great upper level spot overlooking the Yacht Haven. Spacious layout, good facilities, nice seafood. Limited but decent menu. Food was nicely cooked and well presented. Will go back.
This is without doubt one to go and visit. The views from the Terrace are stunning over looking the Yachts and Boats and further on to the Solent. Food was incredible totally recommend the Mussels and Frites. It was a hearty portion and took us a while to finish. The staff were super friendly and chatty. And although it was full, the staff had made sure that you were not to close together. Thanks Haven Bar and Restaurant, we willdefinitely be back next year 👍👍👍
Superb food in a lovely location overlooking the marina. Good service in a nicely decorated restaurant creates a great atmosphere
Stopped for lunch was impressed! Lovely setting, and a warm welcome from a Friendly young team. Had the ‘famous fish finger butty’ it was really nice amd a generous sized portion. Well worth a visit!
Love love love The Haven - always fantastic service and food. The famous fish ginger sandwich is a must and HUGE….the crab is also the best I’ve had - salmon platter amazing too. So many great choices - always consistent and feel serves all the credit is receives .
Staff were excellent thanks see you again soon.
Great location, Good fresh fish, prices you would expect for dinner. The only issue was that the restaurant was not overly full but the girls were struggling with service. My advice, get the wine out and we will wait a bit longer.Would we go again, absolutely.
Great place by the marina - had a fab lunch on a sunny day, excellent service and very friendly atmosphere. If youre not into seafood, there are other options, but the seafood is great! Not cheap, but good for a special lunch and I imagine a great place for drinks in the evening.
The Haven Bar & Restaurant is in a beautiful spot over looking the boat marina.Inside is tastefully decorated with social distancing tables in place. There food was very tasty with manageable prices and the staff were very friendly and welcoming.I would recommend visiting the Haven Bar & Restaurant.
Definatly on my list of places to go back to. The location is lovely, being right in the marina. The food is delicious and very generous portions! The place is comfortable and really nicely decorated. A great place to go.
Lovely setting down in the harbour and nicely decorated inside. Interesting, different menu choices like the Indonesian fish curry & puréed cauliflower (photo below). Food was all nice but lacked anything special enough to rate it 5*. Fish curry or hake probably the best dishes we had. Mussels = enormous portion. The service staff were all nice but didn’t seem to know much about any of the drinks.Photo is the hake fillet with an almond crust, cauliflower purée, carrots, spinach with a side of crushed peas & bacon. I loved the purée.
Great food and location. Cant be faulted. However, I would encourage management to better train staff on the hygienic way to deliver drinks and glasses. The first waitress delivered water glasses with 3 in each hand by putting her fingers in the glasses to carry them. The second waitress served the drinks from the the rim of the glasses. COVID or not, this isnt the way to serve drinks.
Great outlook both indoors and outdoors over the marina, reserve a window seat if you want the view. Decent beer and the fish finger sandwich and fries was excellent.
What an amazing restaurant, the food was awesome and the staff were fabulous. Highly recommend.
We sat out on the decking very nice good service excellent tea and cake will definitely visit again
I love this place, the food is excellent if a little pricey. The waitresses are delightful and the views are a bonus. Better on a fine day so you can sit outside.
Best food I’ve had in ages! Fantastic salmon starter and the sea bass was amazing. Friendly staff and great looking place. Loved it.
Very nice fish restaurant in the marina in Lymington. Staff were friendly and helpful. Nice selection of drinks and a very good menu with fresh fish dishes.
A really lovely place for outstanding food and service. Food was excellent quality and portion sizes were ample. Staff were so accommodating, friendly and polite. I would definitely recommend this place. Book in advance to avoid disappointment. A definite place to return to.
Despite not having booked the staff managed to find a table for us, the food was excellent and exceeded our expectations the home madetartare sauce with fish and chips was the best I have tasted, an excellent evening!
Pretty, atmospheric restaurant with beautiful views, friendly staff and honestly the most delicious moules marinière Ive ever eaten (big statement, I know!) would definitely recommend and visit again.
Just divine! Perfect breakfast spot pre-boat trip and a lovely suntrap with stunning views
Lovely place with a great view. Mussels were lovely
Boring menu and overpriced service charge. Have to pre book way in advance, but many locations i speak to have tables set aside for local walk its. The owners will ultimately have to appreciate local support over the winter period.
A wonderful dining experience. Great food and the highest quality of service. A great atmospheres
Really enjoyed my sea bass and decent price too. Not sure about draft beers though, so drop one star. Wine list good.
Service was fantastic. Food was excellent and the view is gorgeous. We had a wonderful family lunch on the last day of our holiday... I can highly recommend the Oysters and the dressed crab! Yum.
Outstanding views - fabulous location and amazing food. Something for everyone- both cocktails 🍸 and mocktails are delicious- highly recommended!
Excellent food and great service will certainly return and a wonderful view
Only stoped in for a drink.Great views.Service was a little slow but in these times they might have had staff shortages.
Excellent food, nice setting, friendly atmosphere and staff.
Very good food and staff very attentive. We sat in the bar area, which we thought was more intimate than the restaurant area. Try the cosmopolitan cocktail, excellent
Excellent! Friendly customer service, great food, lovely views, thoroughly recommend 👍🙂
Great view and set-up but the young duty staff couldnt or wouldnt help with a very easy breakfast menu variation due to low-carb diet issues. And whilst we were there (only one other occupied table) nobody answered the phone which kept ringing.Complacent? Arrogant? Lazy?Or lack of training and supervision.Oh dear.
A lovely place to soak in the sun and enjoy amazing food
Beautiful little place, nice and shaded in the hot weather. Food is great I will definitely visit again.
Upper deck establishment with terrace and indoor seating. Cannot fault them on decor, and of course nicely spaced out tables as this is written during covid-19 restrictions. Staff very efficient and a rather nice touch when we ordered was that they could adapt some meals to be vegan friendly. Portion wise I found the food was deceptively generous and of course beautifully presented. The view out onto the marina and over the water to The Isle of Wight was unobscured by the glass paneling in our area - enabling you to idly watch the ferries dwindle into he distance.
Good food and well run restaurant in interesting boaty location. Definitely one to recommend. Well be back.
All of Sailing Spooks, Lymington Sailing holiday guests love this place, views are lovely, the food is great and the staff are fantastic.Just simply a great Bar and restaurant but book early its very popular.Russ Sailing Spook

A superb location overlooking the boat yard and out to sea. Light, bright and breezy. Lovely outside area with a selection of large and smaller seating. Dog friendly outside and near the bar. Great food. A perfect location for a sea wall walk and then breakfast. A fab lunchtime eating place, and always a treat in the evening for dinner. Love it!
We had a great lunchtime overlooking the harbour

Good, stayed outside, a slightly chilly wind so they put the outside heaters on for us.
Pretty good, quick service and lots of outdoor seating
Fantastic food and amazing views. What more could you ask for!
Great service, wonderful view to Solent and IOW.Excellent value, well cooked and presented.
Very nice if a bit blustery. Best to sit inside if windy.
Great food and friendly service. They even provided hot water bottles!
Lovely location and excellent dressed crab
Food expert presented lovely 👌
Great service, food and atmosphere
Overpriced for what it is.£22.50 for an 8oz sirloin with more gristle than meat.
Friendly staff, excellent food, great setting.
Love visiting this place especially in the summer on a Sunday where they play live music. Now accessible via a lift which makes life easier for those with disabilities. Its the place to be seen at, great range of food and drinks including free chilled tap water available, dogs and children welcomed. Booking recommended for the restaurant. Great views across to the Isle of Wight.Frequented by locals and also a convienient place for walkers to pop into for a drink (beautiful walk on the Lymington to Keyhaven sea wall).
Lovely location and well organised. Not much choice for vegetarians but this maybe due to a restricted menu due to covid.
