This my third time coming here I don’t come often but I haven’t been disappointed not once. The service is great and gives you a homey feeling even the type of diner it is you get the same feeling. Breakfast was good had Caramel Pancakes and Turkey Bacon Omelette w/ Homefries & Toast. Will return n not be so long in between with visitation.
After a hike this meal completely brought me back to life. French onion soup was phenomenal the Greek salad was outstanding the burger… only word which comes to mind is amazing. Crispy unique bun. We also got a Dominican breakfast which was perfect and authentic. The staff was so kind and helpful, Hanna specifically was lovely. I will be back soon that’s for sure. Thank you for an amazing experience!
Great food and wonderful staff. Even tho they are mainly a diner, they also offer awesome Dominican dishes as well. The 4 golpes was excellent!
Spanish breakfast is not authentic, the person paying the bill got there order forgotten. Yes we gave a credit but we are all eating except that individual. You couldnt even offer the sandwich to be delivered again. Overly expensive for mensa mensa food.
Been going here for years but just now got around to leaving a review. The staff are really terrific and working under very ifficult conditions now. Its classic old diner and very convenient for our family.

Great service, everything was tasty, friendly waitresses and very reasonable pricing along with portions. Would definitely reccomend for either a quick bite or a nice dinner!
The service was exceptional but the food not to much
The service was lovely. Really great people. Parking was easy in a lot right next to the diner. The interior is not fancy but its clean enough. However the food was not very good tasting, to us. My eggplant parm was in a brownish sauce that tasted more like barbeque than tomato sauce. The waffle was overly sweet. Take this with a grain of salt. Im probably the toughest rater on diners, because in this area there are so many great ones. This one is fine but its not my favorite by far unfortunately.
This is a update about my earlier experience. Eventhough there was some confusion about my order and delivery, I must say I am satisfied that they called to clear all my issues credit me and apologize for any and all concerns I had.

The prices are over priced. They literally took almost an hour to prepare the food thats on your breakfast menu and the restaurant had 4 Tables with customers.
Very good food, good portions and a family atmosphere. Love the Dominican menu options too! Highly recommended.

WORST FOOD EVER!!! Eggs was not cooked, even had an eggshell in it. Ordered strawberry french toast and they gave me burnt french toast with cold strawberries on the side. I had to ask for silverware. Had to ask for syrup. Had to ask for napkins. Coffee had coffee grains at the bottom of my cup. Avoid this place!!!!! And had the nerve to over charge me.
We ate outside. The food is good as diners go,but they close early around 3pm.
Great service from when you walk in. Very clean and organized. Great staff very attentive! Bacon egg and cheese and cafe con leche were simply amazing. Great family business.

This is a family owned business and the vibe is warm and cozy. The staff is friendly, the diner is impeccably clean, and the food was great. They support local teams and encourage meeting groups. They are very accommodating. While I was there the owner was preparing food to be delivered to one of her patrons who she was concerned about at the hospital.

Worst place I’ve ever walked into. I’m pregnant and with a low blood sugar and just needed a coke to bring up my sugar so I didn’t pass out and they refused to serve me due to only having a card and wasn’t spending over $5. Told them I’ve been here many times before and never had this issue before so what’s the big deal now. People were very rude and wouldn’t make an exception. Never walking in or recommending this place to anyone.
Very nice waitress (Hannah)but they need more help. Also, the coffee needs to be changed - what they served was somewhat bitter.

I was very disappointed in the management team. I went there today for first in twenty years, there was a Spanish couple sitting in front of me and as soon as the waitress placed the food on the table, the Spanish lady starting vomiting all over the ground, and no one said anything......I think she has covid and wants to spread it..... I wont be going here again.Thank you management for your response note she could have aspirated at your restaurant after her abortion, in addition she kept eating and vomiting and NO one asked them to leave, and then the baby killer started sticking her middle finger up at me and the Doctor. I wish you the best in your business the doctor and I will never eat here again....

What can I say about the Englewood diner. They are my favorite diner. I love everything they make. The flavor in the food is spectacular. The head cook has been working in diners since the 70s. His experience surprises me every time more and more. The owners deserve an award for running such a great establishment. They are amazing at what they do. I recommend this diner to everyone from all ages. The best by far.
Stopped by for a bite to eat I was expecting such delicious food. This diner really surprised me. I had a really friendly waitress who made me relax after all the holiday shopping. I ordered the chicken Alfredo which I get very often. This pasta was mind blowing. It was soooo good. I couldn’t finish so I took the rest home. Definitely will be back. Great service. Great food. Very clean.

This place was ok, let me explain why. I love the vibe of the place, pricing pretty great, and customer service even alright, Hannah and Nicole was very accommodating. Place seem a bit short staff but they made it work. The reason theyre ok, is due to the fact my food was alright. I order the salmon Alfredo and shrimp scampi. Which by the way I do not recommend. While my food wasnt very tasty, shrimps had a sour taste(like too much lemon or something) thats not what turned me off. When I went home I had a upset stomach, all through the night I was in pain. I shared my food with my sisters and theyre stomach was hurting as well. The next day I called and spoke with Hannah (to see what she can do to compensate me, what! I was miserable through out the night!) she reassured me nothing was wrong with my food cause she personally handle it. (Im just wondering though, did she cooked it too?) Which I really appreciate, however dont feel 10% is good enough of an compensation with all the pain I endure throughout the night. In conclusion, the place seem pretty solid my sisters enjoyed theyre food, i chalked it up to just having a bad experience based off what I order, but felt like she could of compensated me better somehow. Overall seems like a pretty decent place. So, the question is, would I come back? hmm..Maybe!🤷🏾♀️
Quaint lovely little place. Inviting setting. The staff was welcoming upon entrance. Great prices and terrific food!! I ate the Breakfast special for like $5 which included 2 eggs, choice of french fries or home fries, and your choice of toast or short stack pancakes, and your choice of bacon sausage, or pork roll!!I chose 2 Eggs over medium with Home Fries (which have Fried Onions & Seasoning) Pork Roll & White Toast. I was very satisfied with my choice of breakfast foods.
I have been eating at the Englewood Diner for many years, and what sets it apart from others is the love that goes into the preparation of every meal by the Salazar family. Every meal is prepared like you are a member of their family so you feel like you are at a real family restaurant. Recommended for Good Eats!

Not so great. We were there at about 8 on a Saturday morning, I think the typical wait staff wasnt there yet. I ordered 2 eggs, over easy, and English muffin, nothing fancy, and they got the eggs wrong. They did make new eggs quickly, so cant complain about that. Hash browns on the side, my husband got an omelette. The food was just ok. I think there are other diners nearby that are better.
This place is Awesome! Have a good select of breakfast food, the staff is so welcoming. I absolutely love this place. I have been to several diners in the area, but really found this to be a hidden Gem!

You can relax, eat, read, think and no one bothers you.The pretty waitresses just asks you if you want more coffee! Which is also delicious! ✨🌝✨
This place is the best in north jersey. The people are very nice and attentive. The food is amazing and homemade. The place is extremely clean and that’s hard to find. Came to town to see the Jack Hanna Live show and decided to stop in here because my family loves diners. The pancakes were doughy and oily. Burgers super greasy. The salmon burger practically raw. The waitress offered to get us something else but we were all too grossed out to eat anything else. The only positive aspect of the place was the kind owner and cleanliness.
This place holds a special place in my heart, during Hurricane Sandy they took exceptional care of us, we had no electricity. The owners were very welcoming, when we sat down the waitresses were very friendly and welcomed us with open arms. Years later, nothing has changed, Food is Fantastic, the prices are phenomenal, and the girls are friendly, inviting, talkative and beautiful. This place treats you like FAMILY, We love them and are grateful for them.❤❤❤❤❤❤ P.S. I am in the service industry, some people can be terrible, little note, If you go out to complain, maybe you should eat at home.

Warm ambiance with a friendly and accommodating staff that seek to please at any turn. The ambiance, welcoming, the service, fast, the plate of food I ordered, savory.One could only wonder what previous reviews mentions about this excellent diners negative reviews but I’ve met nothing but a warm welcome and a delicious plate (plates, I also had an apple pie).I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to settle in to what a classic New Jersey diner is like.
My favorite diner of all. The Englewood Diner has been my favorite diner since I can remember. I enjoy everything I order. It’s really hard finding a diner with southern flavor. These people know how to cook up breakfast like Virginia. It’s tastes like a good homemade meal my mom or grandma makes. I can’t wait to visit again. Excellent!!

My food was naughty so I request a refund. I get my refund and the girl tells me never to come back. I wasnt prepared for that!!!! I wasnt going to anyways?!That was very rude for her to say. Dont go there please, you will regret it. Eggs and bacon is the only think they get away with.
Best hungry man breakfast I ve experienced & keep the spanakopita & feta cheese coming please. & Dont forget the calamata olives too & gyro on pita. Awesome food for snakes.

Food was okay. Pancakes were kinda sloppy looking. My bacon was cooked just right and service excellent. Price just right.The diner could use some modernization. Restroom I had to touch everything to: turn on lights, flush, wash my hands, towels. Most places everything is automated.
