I am writing to relay to you all about us having a very positive experience with Dun-Rite. Our son had used them for a bathroom update and was very pleased. Our master bath was 36 years old (1985) and was worn out, dated, and no longer attractive at all. From the initial meeting with Grant, then Brandon coming out to measure and create drawings of the plan, to communication from the office all occurring before starting the job, we were given a strong confidence that Dun-Rite has expertise to successfully execute the design. Communication all through the job went well with only a minor glitch in getting the drywall/painters schedule to fit in. They made up for it by truly being miracle workers. Our lead contractor (Scott) was incredible in every way. Attention to detail, communication, on-time every day, neatness in the house and cleaned up his work area in the garage every day. Scott did the demo, tile, shower build, tub surround, cabinetry, drywall patches, etc. Scotts attention to detail can only be described as impeccable.Joe, the plumber was meticulous and clearly takes pride in doing the job right. The quartz counter guys were fast, efficient, and did exactly what we requested.A true delight was Frederick. He became our site manager and provided additional solutions that demonstrated his many years of experience really paid off. Everyone involved performed above expectations. The end result is a grand integrated design that will provide us much enjoyment. I highly recommend Dun-Rite for your remodeling.
We were very happy with the work done on our kitchen. We had 90s vintage cabinets and needed to upgrade. There was a 4 month lead time in scheduling. However it was worth the wait. We had 2 new cabinets installed and the rest re-faced and also new drawers and slides. Dillon and Eric did a very professional job. They were very willing to listen to suggestions from us and to even include things that were not in the original contract. Cleanup was good and now we have a fabulous new kitchen!
I was privileged to have had Dun Rite update our kitchen. From the initial meeting with Caleb to our final walk-through, Dun Rites professionals treated our home and our project like it was their own. The little things mattered to them. They swept and cleaned every day. They organized their tools in a small corner every day. They came on-time every day. We spent nearly 3 weeks with Dun Rite, and when the project was finished, I was sad to see them go. Like Dun Rites tag line, Ill give you MY word that Dun Rite will treat you right.
Thank you for hiring Brandon. He did an amazing job installing our cabinets, counter tops, and our sink. He was very friendly and fit right in. He did a fantastic job. I am very happy with the time he took. The install was slow enough to turn out amazing. Fast enough I get my kitchen back sooner than expected. Perfect pace of quality and quantity.
Where should i start? Lets start with the customer service. My project manager was Donny. Never met or talked to him until i told a random project manager that stopped by when there was an issue with the tile floor patter to not come back. This guy was rude. Tried to place blame on me and not once said sorry. A new employee with a chip on his shoulder. Donny wasnt much better but none the less better. We had some issues with the provided tub. They were gonna place a kids sized bathtub in my master bath without saying a thing. Well i said something. After the long wait for the new tub i ordered. It was like i was a step child they didnt xare for. I was having white subway tiles put in with black grout. They qere all scared of this. Which was troubling in the forst place. My installer Tim. Who is being put i to managiment was anything but pleasant. He dragged his feet (literally) the whole time. Placed my tiles with maybe 12 spacers for the whole project and it shows. The grout lines are sooo inconsistent! There are crooked tiles, lines were so bad i had sealer put on all the edges bc the lines did not match up at all. He put so much glue on the tiles that it was pushing out the lines. So when he grouted there are huge areas with no black grout at all. Then when he grouted it was sloppy, some areas with no grout, i could seeall the way to the wall. He then left a huge mess with glue on my flooor tiles, glue and grout all over the tub and wall. Tim also installed the tile around my new floor tiles. He skipped a spots that he thought i wouldnt see off the bat, he miss measured but still used the tile on a edge where it meets another room. He didnt have me look at anything when he left. He found me playing with my kids. Waved bye and said good luck with the project. I had no chance to see the bad job he did. Donny then came to try and fix things. He scrapped out some of the glue and regrouted. This fixed maybe half of the issues. The tiles are still crooked. There is still glue sticking out in places. An installer also poured his waste on my neigh ors property thinking no one would see it. They are messing, lazy work and expensive too boot. I suggest finding a new company for your remodel. I wish i did. Dun rite is falling fast. Almost every installer told me this but the issue is that customers are taking the brunt of it not dunrite!. They are way short staffed but taking and starting a ton of new jobs without finishing started porjects with detail. Everything was rushed and you can tell by looking at my bathroom. I was made to feel like i was a Nueces for wanting my project done timely and correctly. Im payibg you 11k to remodel my bathroom. I am not the Nuece. I am the customer that is asking for a service that i paid for. Not sure why but every project manager i encountered had a chip on their shoulder and did not provided expected customer service.
I finally got around to having our old sliding glass patio door replaced with a modern swinging door and glass panel. My installers Jeff and Richard were prompt, courteous, conversational, and above all did a great job getting out the old beast of a door and making the new one look great. They took the time to make sure I knew what was happening and what options were available (did I want angled trim or craftsman, etc).Knocking one star off only because it’s definitely pricier than other companies. We looked into doing a fairly plain bathroom update but even with the best available discounts it was way over budget for our tastes, and there’s pressure to “sign today or miss out” which isn’t feasible when you’re looking at a $15k quote (after discounts) for something you thought would be under $10k.
Dun-Rite is very professional and responsive. They sent a window installer to come out and rip out my old window in the shower and replace with a new shower window. He was prompt and courteous. He worked very hard all day, in order to make sure that everything was done correctly and to my liking. He changed the plan for the outside trim and made it look much better than the original plan. So far I am very happy with their work. Right now they are installing a new tub and shower wall and have not yet completed that yet. Stay tuned. I will follow up with more info on how that turns out.
Tony and Nick were fantastic and professional. They took the time to answer all of our numerous questions, not only about the process but about the tools they were using, and did a wonderful job on our windows. They left everything tidy and we will definitely use them in the future.Thank you guys for your hard work!
The care and the attention to detail was impressive. They called when any delays would occur. They did not leave any corrections undone and were easy to work with . I recommend them highly! I work at a big box store that does this kind of work and I know the difference and these folks are very good at what they do. Now my kitchen looks like a magazine
Dun Rite just finished a kitchen refacing project for us. Were very pleased. We were particularly impressed by the carpenter assigned to our job, Brandon. He lived up to the Well treat you right at Dun Rite slogan, which is saying something!
We recently had a bathroom remodeled with a tub to shower conversion. As a homeowner, it was the best experience I could have imagined. We had one Dun-Rite employee, Tim, work all week on the demo and installation. He was polite, courteous, hard working and a great communicator. We had a house full of college students, adult son working from home, and a relentlessly barking dog and Tim was very gracious. We are so pleased with the final product, his workmanship is fantastic!I need to also give credit to Haley explaining the process, telling us about the company, and of course, the design options--selection of colors, tile and flooring. The plumbers that worked on the shower in the beginning and end of the project were also very courteous. My husband said that this bathroom would be a test as to whether we would have the next bathroom project by Dun-Rite. We look forward to calling again soon, and we are definitely going to request that Tim come back.
I have used Dun-Rite twice in 12 years: for a kitchen remodel and replacement of six windows. On both projects all aspects were performed as promised. No problems or issues with the excellent work provided. Extremely rare these days. I will recommend this company to anyone needing their services.
Dun-rite recently completely remolded our master bath and updated our kitchen to add counter-tops, new back-splash, and add gas. Different aspects of the project got delayed a few times, but they were great about letting us know and we are very happy with the results. There have been a few minor touch up items to be handled after project finish and they have remained very responsive and helpful. Would recommend to anyone needing a project. You can see some before and after pics in my review.
Though Dun-Rite is often more expensive than other improvement businesses, we can always depend on return work for anything needing adjustment or repair at no additional cost. My wife and I are retired, I am 73 years old, but I cannot perform tasks as successfully as I could when I was younger. It is worth having Dun-Rite do the hard stuff! Everyone who has helped us has been professional, courteous, and, most of all, pleasant to work with us.
Excellent! Met or exceeded my expectations in all areas except one. Materials, installation, time, installation professionals all A+. Your only needs improvement is communication from the project leader/manager. Think our job got moved from one to the other and I never heard from either until I tracked the person down. This took multiple phone calls, leaving multiple messages and there was a stunning lack of knowledge from phone answerers as to WHO was the lead on our job. This is a critical contact who should routinely be in touch with the homeowner, especially near the end of the installation to deal with the punch list.
We had Dun-Rite do a bathroom and kitchen renovation for us. I couldn’t be more pleased with the way our rooms have turned out. From removing a bathtub to make a walk in shower to refacing cabinets and installing pull out shelves in our kitchen, you can tell the employees take pride in their work and put forth every effort to make sure the end result is as beautiful as you hoped it would be.A huge thanks to Daniel, Jesse, Colt, Austin, Louie, and “kitchen plumber dude” (I am so sorry I’ve forgotten your name!). Everything is beautiful and we thank you for the hard work and extra effort you put in.
Being in the construction business for 40+ years it is refreshing to see a contractor do business the old fashioned way. Complete, on time, and within budget. From the beginning with Michael to finishing with Aaron I cant say enough about the crew at Dun-Rite Home Improvement. You will always find companies out there that will do things cheaper but you wont find a contractor that does it better than Dun-Rite. Thank you for a job well done!
Had kitchen cabinets refaced in 2019. Beautiful walnut doors and drawer faces. Drawer glides have never worked consistently, had company out to repair them many times, continually fail, one just fell off the mounts today after being fixed less than two weeks ago! Cabinet doors and drawer faces finish will not repel even a drop of water which doesnt work well in kitchen environment. Company has been out many times to replace two cabinet doors and each time fail to accomplish task - wrong finish, holes drilled wrong for hinges (twice). I have to call the company to expedite any pending repairs as they do not follow through with warranty work. Very disappointed, should have considered a different option for replacing my old kitchen cabinets. Will probably have to tear out cabinets and replace with new ones after spending tens of thousands of dollars on this failed attempt.
We contracted with Dun-Rite for a master bathroom renovation. From start to finish, Dun-Rite was professional, offered many (on-trend) options to choose from, stuck to their timeframe and completed the project ahead of schedule. Our primary installer, Scott, did a fantastic job with communication, installation and cleanliness. After the project was completed, we had a small drain leak in the new sink and found drywall that was punctured in our mater closet. Dun-Rite follow up from OJ got us on the warranty schedule immediately to resolve. While not the cheapest route for a remodel, the included warranty and immediate response is a true testament that you get what you pay for.We greatly appreciate the Dun-Rite team and look forward to working with them on our next bathroom project!
We used Dun-Rite for our kitchen renovation. The experience was awsome Drywall tiles cabinets. I do have to say all the workers were professional. They explained everything to us step by.step. Very happy especially my wife. You know what they say happy wife happy life. One word about the cabinets. The person who worked on them. Brain Becker. He was a wonderful person knowledgeable and professional. He was our first worker to come. He made us feel that we made the right decision to pick Dun-Rite. Definitely recommend.
Front Door replacedonce I decided: to Go with Dun-Rite:WOW what can I say : from start to Finish : Starting w/ Salesman Tim Malmay to the end with Jeff Scott. And Andrew Nash . and all the Admin: Ladys / guys . the Professionalism was outstanding, stress free process, Let me put it this way, Dun-Rite / DOSE DO IT RIGHT !!
Would not recommend dunrite cabinets to anyone that wants quality for their dollar. About 8 years ago my mother purchased about 9 cabinets, solid surface countertops and flooring from dunrite for$12,000. For starters the low quality flooring warped and had to be replaced, the guy that came out to repair it said to much water was being used to clean the floor. The only thing being used was swiffer pads, so I find that impossible. Fast forward to May 10th 2021 I placed a phone call to dunrite to complain about the solid surface countertop because the sink was cracking around the drain. I was told that someone would contact me in the next 24 hours, no call. On May 25th, I Again placed another call to dunrite and was told someone would return my call by the next day, again, no call. I finally sent an email and to my surprise I received a response saying that their warranty guy was out the previous week .That would have been fine but I called 15 days earlier with no response, no excuse. The guy that handles the warranty requests told me to send him a picture of the sink and he would return my call, which I did immediately. As I suspected the issue wasnt covered by warranty. The warranty guy said the issue was caused by hot liquids being poured on a cold surface.BUT, they could replace the counter top for about $1000.00 OR they could cut the sink out and replace it with a metal sink at a cost of about $500.00.Wow!!! I didnt know you couldnt put hot water in a sink thats not exactly the same temperature,to wash dishes. AGAIN low grade materials. Why would I want to pay for inferior materials and replace them with the same product that was supposed to be covered by a 10 year warranty. A warranty is a warranty unless youre dealing with a company thats trying to get out of replacing a product thats low quality. By the way were Still having issues with the flooring .
Dun-Rite has done the remodeling of my kitchen. I am most pleased with the results. From the very beginning they were most helpful in the design and materials. Mike Kellogg (sales) even worked with me on the pricing. The work crews were on time every day. And communicated their progress each day. The counters and sink were installed and then it was discovered the sink was reversed from what I had ordered. There was no issue. Dun-Rite removed the already installed granite counter and sink and made a new granite counter and sink to replace it. The job was then completed to my complete satisfaction. Everyone was cheerful and pleasant. I am truly impressed with the Job Dun-Rite has done that I have also contracted them to redo my three bathrooms.Thank you Dun-Rite. another satisfied customer.
I had decided to have new kitchen cabinets put in. I had been shopping for a while, my son-in-law had suggested quite a few times that I should call Dun-Rite for a free estimate. He told me that they did quality work, with a quality product and that they actually cared about their customers. I was hesitant about it, I assumed that they would be more expensive and that I could get the same results for less money from Lowes or Home Depot. He convinced me eventually, after all, it was a free estimate. Haily came out and she did a great job, she helped me decide what would look good with my counters and floors. She was very patient with me as I had a lot of questions. I wanted to do a change order later, I assumed that it might be a problem, but she was kind and let me know that it was no problem. The Manager for my project was Larry, between him and Daniel, the attention to detail was fantastic. They both stayed very involved with making sure that I was happy with everything throughout the whole process. I guess there was an issue with the functionality of one of my Lazy Susans, which I am not sure that I would have ever noticed, but they pointed it out and set an appointment with me for later to correct it. When I started the process with Haily, I had shown her a large cabinet that I had fallen in love with at Lowes. I asked her if they could build one like it for me. She said it would be no problem. It turned out absolutely beautiful! I am very pleased with the professionalism, attentiveness, and quality from Dun-Rite. I also have to say, in the end, their prices were competitive with everyone else. I will be calling them in the future if the occasion arises, and I would gladly recommend them to anyone who may be looking to update their kitchen!
After going back and forth between hiring a company or an individual to remodel my laundry, I hired Dun-Rite. I had seen the trucks and heard the commercials and knew they had been around as long as I could remember. What a great decision. The fellows were friendly and efficient and I had total confidence in them. Because the project lasted two weeks they were often here alone. They worried about my cats and communicated with each other to make sure they didn’t get out (wanted to know if they were “runners”). That level of care was so important to me.The finished project is gorgeous and I am scheduled for my bathroom.Long comments but just so much to say about the professionalism and commitment to perfection.Bonnie
My overall experience was fine. The quality of the door and installation were excellent. The sales experience was excellent! The crew lead was very communicative and worked around my work scheduled, given work-from-home.I did have a couple of complaints, but, in general, they were addressed. The scheduling process was really difficult. I paid back in 01/05/2021, but it wasnt until the second week of March that I got a call saying what my installation date was. I wasnt given any options. However, they did work around my schedule. The second issue was that one of the two-man crew used foul language a lot. I am glad that I was able to reschedule my clients as my home office is right near the backdoor that needed replacement. I could hear him clear into my kitchen. Nonetheless, I expected this and worked around it. However, it was pretty nerve racking if I needed to meet with clients.
Weve wanted to remodel our master bath for a long time, and weve had several different companies look at it. We decided to call Dun-Rite and were impressed with their suggestions and thorough presentation of all the options. During the demolition phase, we discovered an issue with the way our house was wired, nothing that could have been anticipated ahead of time. Their lead quickly came up with an alternative that allowed us to still get the major part of what we wanted from the remodel. The alternative design turned out to actually be an improvement in many ways over our original design. Further, Dun-Rite kept to their original estimate.Throughout the project, some 3-4 weeks, they communicated every step of the way, involved us with any decisions, and did what they said with real craftmanship. When I was working, part of my job involved project management, and I can appreciate people who know how to make that work. Dun-Rite had the various experts involved in the project there when they were needed, along with any materials needed, at the right time to keep the project on track.Besides all that, my dog liked all of them, and if a German Shepherd likes you, that says something.
We had our kitchen remodeled. Dun-Rite did an amazing job. The finished result was even more beautiful than we had expected. Every single person that was involved with the process were wonderful to work with and they all treated my home with a great deal of care and respect. It was very obvious that everyone on the team takes a great deal of pride in what they do and wanted to ensure that we were happy with their work. Thinking about doing a bathroom next and will definitely use them!
Dun-Rite has done an awesome job. Every installer was on time, efficient, courteous and very professional. I was always kept up to date on how my remodel was going and what to expect. I was told that I had the top installers and I believe this as the kitchen turned out beautifully. Although every installer was great I do want to give a big thank you to Chad who installed my floors and listened as we talked thru the variations. Chad went over and above by fixing a door that was giving him a problem with his install and fixed a stone that had a corner chipped by my fireplace. Thank you Dun-Rite for a job well done.
They remodeled our kitchen over 10 years ago and did a wonderful job, our kitchen still looks and works as great and it did when they completed it with our entire family, kids and all using regularly. They did some cabinet refacing and added some new cabinets to match, with great quality wood. They added a pantry with lots of slide out drawers. Even suggested using extra space next to the stove and created thin cabinet with shelves for spices above and thin cabinet for cookie sheets and cutting boards below. We called them back one year ago to remodel our bathroom, got rid of old tub and shower combo and put in large shower with bench and handicap bars to use when we get older. They also added new cabinets. We feel that we received timely and quality work for a reasonable price.
We are very pleased with Dun-Rite’s redo of our daughters bathroom. Their cost estimate was similar to others we received but they could do the job in a much more timely manner. Dun-Rite saves the client time because they manufacture all of their custom cabinetry in-house. Grant, our salesman, was very helpful in picking out tile, cabinets, and fixtures which gave a modern look. We can’t praise Donnie, our remodeller, enough. He accomplished the entire job in three weeks, always in a clean, tidy, and non-disruptive manner. This included all of the demolition, and flipping the sink and toilet to the opposite side of the room, requiring concrete jackhammer work. After expanding the size of the bathroom, he installed all of the fixtures, tile work, and cabinetry, as well as texturing and painting. He made several suggestions that saved us money during the process. He was very prompt and dealing with our short punch list after the project was completed. We are very pleased with the beautiful finished product!
Mike is most personable as all the staff weve encountered. Follow-up has been as scheduled. Work times are so far out there. An indication of their reputation. Yet again...a sign of the times.
Dun-Rites quality of work & products used were excellent. All installers were courteous and professional. I am very happy with my 4 different home improvement projects - (1) new kitchen counter top (2) new kitchen pantry floor to ceiling pantry (3) new master bath shower (4) custom built bathroom vanity mirror doors to replace the 3 that had broken on my existing large vanity cabinet. All jobs were completed to my satisfaction.I am a repeat customer - 27 years ago we had our kitchen cabinets all replaced with custom built and were so impressed I chose to use them again on my new home remodel.
Dun-Rite did a great job with the remodel of my 2 small bathrooms and vanity area. I had 2 bathtubs and decided I wanted to convert one into a walk-in shower. Im very pleased with the outcome.Besides the professionalism of all the staff I encountered with Dun-Rite, the quality of their products and excellent workmanship is by far the best Ive ever experienced. I appreciate all the people that worked on this project for me. Theyre the best. I could always count on them to show up when they said they would and just got the job done...no time wasted! I will always recommend Dun-rite to anyone getting ready to remodel .
If I could give them ten stars I would! They sold and installed 9 beautiful new vinyl insulated windows from ProVia featuring Lifetime Warranty and at 40% less than Andersen. From the Sales Agent Mike, to the great installers, Greg, Ricky and Richard they did everything right! Knowledgeable, personable, and kind - they went out of their way to see that we were totally satisfied. And the supervisor, OJ, called the next day to assure the same. I would highly recommend Dun-Rite Home Improvements for you home remodel and especially windows. Colorado sun, storms and cold are hard on windows so go with someone with the product and service you can trust. I so glad we did! John & Donna Bryant, Colorado Springs.
We had a great experience with Dun-Rite. We chose them to totally demolish our existing kitchen including an interior wall and rebuild with cabinets, center island, quartz countertops, sink/plumbing, desk area as well as laminated flooring throughout the kitchen, family room, dining room and foyer. It was a pleasure working with their designers (Mike and Andy), installers (Troy and Chad) and division manager (Greg) among many others. They were very responsive, insisted on our satisfaction with every detail and demonstrated excellent workmanship throughout. Were now having fun living in our expanded state-of-the-art kitchen and adjoining rooms while showing it off to friends and relatives.
So, we hired this company for what they considered to be 2 different projects, a couple of years ago. Im only posting now since we cant seem to find my husbands original post. Strange?!? They completed our bathroom project prior to having a license to work in the city of Aurora. Then tore out my kitchen without having a license still in the city and had a subcontractor pleasure himself in my jutted kitchen while waiting on his team to join him. Please feel free to message me for further details. We have video proof!
We had two old windows and a door replaced last week. The gentlemen that came did a great job and didnt complain even though I know at least one of the windows was a beast to get out! The new products look great and they really want to make sure you are happy. Will use them again if/when we need more windows replaced!
Dun-Rite did a fabulous job converting my old fiberglass tub into an amazing walk in shower. Each step was thorough and professional. Bill was our salesman and we worked well together. Dan was great to come by and check on the progress. Our installer was Morgan and he created the perfect shower for us. We are hoping to have the other bathroom redone with a real tub with tiled walls. I would highly recommend Dun-Rite.
Rarely is a company “as good as their advertisements,” but Dun-Rite lived up to theirs. We recently had our kitchen cabinets re-faced. The workmanship was excellent. Small hiccups in the process were resolved beautifully and without charge (or drama). Possibly the most notable thing is that the salesman called us at the end of the project, and actually came over to the house again to answer questions and show us some of the finer points of using the hardware. I’ve never seen a salesman appear after the sale. Communication was great throughout the process. The job was truly Done Right!
Every one was very nice and all did a great job. We will call again if we need more work done. Thanks especially Kim Richard Tayler. We will do business again Lael and Steve
Will only talk to me in Person and on sight even though we are in the middle of a pandemic!Edit: I hear what you are saying, but this is clearly a pro-company response and not pro-customer. My question to you was: Under normal circumstances, how much does it cost to hang a door? Your response was: We have to come into your home.I reminded you that we are in a pandemic and if I have to get 6 quotes from 6 people ... to hang some doors, the risk to my children would increase significantly having 6 people walk through my house. Your response was: Call someone else.We both know that you will have a standard price sheet with a range depending on needs, and that your goal to come into the house is to up sell your services and increase the likely hood that we go with you and no one else despite any costs, because of the inconvenience to have to get quotes from other sources. You have a ballpark standard range of what it costs to hang a standard door. I was willing to give you measurements, send photos answer any questions.
I used Dun-rite for a kitchen remodel and am extremely happy with everything from start to finish. They did a cabinet re-facing, new countertop, new sink and new flooring. From the salesman who came to my home to showcase my options, to the various workers who came to my home to do the work, everything was explained to me regarding pricing, timing, options, etc.I would very highly recommend them, and will 100% use them again for future bathroom projects.
Great value in the services they offer.
DunRite came out and helped us design our bathroom remodel and then installed it. They had done our new fantastic kitchen and front bathroom a few months earlier – which turned out well and why we invited them back. Joe was the sales/design person (all 3 projects) and he was great to work with – very easy going, experienced, good selection of materials to choose from, and gave us a sense that the project would live up to their name!Steve was the sole installer on the bath and he was super responsive. He was on time for 3 weeks every day, no excuses, making progress each day, never left mess, took all fixtures away in his truck on demo day, and was as good as they come. Quality of his work was excellent. They supplied us with high quality fixtures, materials, and took the demo in the bath to the insulation and floor joist. They used the concrete board on the floor and in shower to install the new materials. Tile work in shower came out great along with the new shower door. He really did an excellent job laying the floor planks. I can only say that it came out better than expected and we are still digging it 3-4 weeks later. Thanks to the team at DunRite as they did live up to their name!
Worst remodel experience I have ever had. A 2 to 2-1/2 week project took 39 days! Tile install looked like a 5 year old did the work, damage to the floor and there was no interest in repair, and when mentioned, the subject was pretty much dropped. Poor communication, I had to place a phone call to find out if any work was being done that day. Would not recommend this company to my worst enemy!
I have had Dun-Rite in my home on multiple occasions every time has been a pleasant experience. The workmanship is of the highest quality and their employees are very professional. I have been extremely happy with nthe end result both right after completion and over the long term. on the one occasion I needed some warranty work done they where right on top of of it no questions and resolved and called to follow up.
I just retired from the medical field. I managed service teams repairing MRI, CT and XRay devices. So I had no experience in refurbishing a Kitchen. I had 4 contractors measure and quote me to refurbish my kitchen cabinets. Dun-Rite was my first choice. It took four days to complete and I was 100% surprised on how well it all turned out. The cabinets were from 1986 so they were in pretty bad shape. They simply looked fantastic! Money well spent and I would recommend them to anyone. Jim
The work is quality. Robert did a wonderful job with the demo work and then the cabinet install and painting. He takes pride in his work and it shows. Chad did a wonderful job on the floor installation. Again, another quality job by someone that knows his stuff and takes pride in his work. Brian with the plumbing went above and beyond by bringing back into the house the washer and dryer. Jeff and Richard did a wonderful job with the doors; so much so I’m having them back again to install the front door and another closet door.Overall, I’m very pleased with DunRite. ( this is the 4th project).
I recently used Dun-Rite to reface my kitchen cabinets. Originally, I was not very happy with the service, since it felt as though the project was taking much too long considering my kitchen was very small. The quality of work was great, I just didnt think my project was being prioritized properly. After talking through my concerns, Im happy to say that my original project manager worked with Tracy at the company to make it right. They seemed to take feedback into consideration in a way that indicated some changes could be made to improve in the future. Im very satisfied with the service, and I take the ability to handle customer concerns by a company very seriously when choosing who to work with. For that, I ended up going with 5 stars. Thanks so much for making it right, I greatly appreciate it and the cabinets look great!
This was our worst home improvement experience in 33 years. The main issues were:-Finger size gaps around the woodwork-Woodwork so out of square the screens didnt work-Caulking tracked onto the carpet
We love our new bathroom. Sinesa, who did the majority of the work, went above and beyond to make sure even the smallest details were just right! We really appreciated his attention to detail and extra work to make our bathroom look so great!
Great experience with Dun-Rite replacing my sliding patio door. Appreciated professional friendly service of the first contacts, for ordering and measuring, and then the efficient and careful job of installers later, when the door was ready. Thanks!
We called Dun-Rite to get an estimate on remodeling our master bathroom and redo the tile in the shower of the guest bathroom. Joe was our sales guy and he was fantastic! He took the time to go over all of our options and designs. We were so excited when the day came to start the remodel. Yasin was the main guy working on the demo/remodel. There are not enough adjectives to describe how incredibly amazing of a job Yasin did. Every step of the way he made sure he reviewed the plans and offered suggestions for different designs with the job. Having never remodeled a bathroom before, I appreciated him taking the time to do that for us. Then there was Yasins actual work. I could tell from day 1 that he was meticulous and took so much pride in his work. The bathrooms turned out better than I ever could have expected!!!! You all are so lucky to have someone like Yasin on your team. Give that man a fat raise! Thank you again Yasin! My only issue with the whole process is the timing of getting the shower door. Its no fun to have a brand new shower you still have to wait another 2 weeks before it can be used. If that could have been measured and ordered sooner in the process that would have been better, but I know itll be worth it! Thank you Dun-Rite for being an awesome company with awesome employees, there arent too many companies left that treat their customers right. Well definitely use you guys again!
I have used Dun-Rite on 5 occasions. Once for a total kitchen remodel, once for a total laundry room remodel and 3 separate times to replace all the windows in my mountain home with ProVia windows. They have always shown up on time and delivered what was promised. They are fast, efficient and courteous. I will most likely use them again and will always recommend this company for excellent service
I was first was introduced to Dun Rite Home Improvement at the Home and Garden Show at the Convention Center in Denver. The reprehensive impressed me as a craftsman working for a professional company. When I wanted to remodel my kitchen I contacted Dun-Rite . They re-surfaced my cabinets and installed a new counter top, sink and faucet. They installed a tile floor in kitchen and two bathrooms and front door entry. The result was beautiful! Last year they installed a new front door and a full glass storm door. Great improvement to my home. They were clean and efficient and did a wonderful job. Dun-Rite has answered any question or concern that I have had. The installers, sales persons and the company itself I consider to be craftsmen in their trade and professionals in caring for their work and customers. Dun-Rite will help me on my next project. We had an excellent experience with Dun-Rite from sales through the completion of the project. Dun-Rite replaced old tile kitchen counter tops with quartz counters. The demo was difficult because they were built in place. All the Dun-Rite craftsmen were professional with their conduct and the workmanship was excellent. If you want to do a remodel job in your house and not worry about the outcome I recommend Dun-Rite.
Firstly, the guys that do the work tend to do a really good job. The ones who do the actual work are fine. You may need them to come back out and do some touch-ups, but theyll certainly do it. I had them do my kitchen, main bathroom, master bathroom, indoor patio, and full window replacement. I dont have any issue with the work thats been done nor the workers themselves. They are good.
The project included refacing my 1970s kitchen cabinets, installing a handmade modern tile backsplash and custom solid surface countertops complete with a larger stainless steel sink. Sounds like an easy job to most people but it gets complicated when updating existing outdated construction. There were a few bumps in the road during the process (took slightly longer to complete the project than I expected) but Dun-Rite management and project crews made sure that my new kitchen was completed exactly as planned and well worth the wait. Am I happy with the results? You bet I am--my new kitchen shows no traces of the 1970s and is all about quality workmanship which will last a lifetime. I highly recommend Dun-Rite!
Dun-Rite, over the years has performed many home improvement projects for me- tile and cabinets in my kitchen, bathroom project, drywall fixes, custom front door, etc. Their sales team and all of their contractors are top notch and do great work on time and on budget. I have my own small business that is very customer focused to the high net market so I understand very well what exceptional service and quality looks like as well as what it takes to retain good people on both the client and staff side. Dun-Rite does both well. They are my go to one stop shop. If nothing else, get a quote and you will see from introduction one a difference.
I hired Dun-Rite to complete a kitchen remodel in my new home. The scope of work included cabinet refacing, new tile backsplash, and new countertops. A fairly large plumbing issue occurred mid remodel, but Dun-Rite immediately made it right (the company name is definitely fitting). Not only did they make all necessary repairs to rectify the problem, but they went above and beyond to take care of me. The project was completed expediently, and it looks amazing. I couldn’t be happier with the quality of work and professionalism. Shout out to the whole team involved with my project, including Tim, Dylan, Ryan, Gabriel, and many more. I will be hiring Dunn-Rite for future remodel projects and would recommend them to anyone looking for high quality work completed by a reliable company. Thanks, Dun-Rite!
Like many of you, we were completely happy with our remodel. Then, we started noticing our basement ceiling was getting stained right under our toilet upstairs. Called Dun-rite they came out, they agreed our toilet wasnt installed properly. They fixed the improper toilet installation. Refused to repair the damage done by the leaking toilet! On to 8 short years later and our $30,000 kitchen cabinets are peeling, the laminate floors are coming up. Dun-rite came out. Their reply, oh, sorry we discontinued those cabinets. Basically leaving us with cabinet doors, facings and drawers that are warped and peeling.. The laminate, has a 15 year warranty, but they will NOT call us back to repair the floor.Think twice, triple and quadruple before having Dun-WRONG do your remodel.UPDATE:Tracy D did contact us after this review. DunRite sent out yet another representative (this is the 3rd since our inital contact regarding this issue). The representative came out, did meaurements and left once again saying well let you know if we find these cabinets. They contacted us about a week later, and let us know, they DID find a match!!An appointment was made and kept to install new cabinet doors, drawers and facings. Our kitchen cabinets are back to looking nice again! As for the floors, DunRite has said out of warranty. We are in contact with the manufacturer of the flooring.
We had Dunrite do our kitchen maybe 2 years ago, 3 years ago max. Our experience started with a kind sales person Who Did gives off some high pressure vibes. We had a normal couple weeks of construction that put us out of our kitchen obviously and I relocated because our dogs were big barkers. The tech went over the two week install period, Working less than half a day far too often making excuses as to why he needed to leave early. Well, I fell for it a little bit too long and by the time I reached out to management, they ended up sharing with me that they knew that his productivity was not the greatest and that they were planning to let him go. I actually did appreciate the transparency at the time but in retrospect it fueled my irritation. The countertop installer it was really awesome and even worked weekends to get us back on track. There were quite a bit of punchlist items that they did take care of for us. I don’t think that the kitchen is incredibly detailed craftsmanship. And originally we did absolutely hate the dark hard surface countertop we chose because you could see every scratch with our higher than normal natural lighting and they did replace it for us no charge. I will tell you, We were definitely difficult because We were just not happy with the overall product and I think I just didn’t see the value in what we spent at that point. You can cut $ corners all you want but kitchens are never cheap. They did handle as well and I actually did what was fair for the countertop. Less than a year had passed and we ended up with a crack where the countertop against the wall meets the peninsula. It’s at least a foot and then some long starting right from the inner corner. We reported it to dunrite and I guess after all of our interactions during install with an absurd punch list and the countertop concerns, they felt the appropriate response was to tell us that the crack was obviously our fault due to misuse and that they were not going to discuss replacing our countertop either. I’m trying to be very objective here and tell you the good and the bad, and That completely took me aback. They even told me that at one point they saw a griddle on my countertop and that it was in my warranty that I shouldn’t put hot things on my counter because it will affect the countertop at the seams. First of all that’s nuts, no griddle ever? Are we just Assuming that the customer is the idiot enemy now? Second of all the area that’s cracked is 100% seam free and the location within the kitchen does not make it the most suitable place for me for to even put a griddle so absolutely nothing was on that corner to cause a crack. It’s still cracked and to this day because I was so offended by the response I just let it go. Now about six months ago we noticed the wrap on our cabinet doors to the left and the right of the stove are pulling away from the doors. We didn’t even want to deal with them so we didn’t call. But my husband had a project he was calling around for just called today to actually have them bid for new business… Why we bother to consider that I don’t even know… He asked them on the side about having that Looked at and they said there’s only a one year warranty. So my kitchen now has a counter top crack and cabinet wrap pulling away from cabinet doors forever. I’m sure they are assuming I turned the oven on extra hot all day long to cause this damage and create A headache for them again. But with the couple handful of times I’ve use this oven to heat up pizza rolls in the last couple of years, I’m very disappointed to see that the doors did not manage to withstand that “excess” of heat. If they don’t think it’s theirs or the products fault it sure as anything isn’t mine. It took me this long to write this review because I really don’t like writing negative reviews. But at the very least I’m hoping that they choose to reach out to actually address these items. It’s just not cool to be cut off 😕
Just started the process but our meeting with there salad rep Mike was awesome so professional and like pressure. Looking forward to having the job completed.
Dun-Rite Home improvement has done 2 windows and a shower for us.Our house is old (1920) so each project was a rebuild. The product, service and workmanship were excellent. Dun-Rite did projects other companies would not do. Fixed a project (window ) done so poorly it leaked into the basement causing damage. It is hard to find words how thankful we are to have Dun-Rite do our improvements, cant hardly wait until the next project !! J and D Fort Lupton
My wife and I hired Dun-Rite for our kitchen remodel as well as a few door and window replacements. We couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the very first meeting with our sales rep Brian, to the very final touches, the final product was as good if not better than we had hoped for. Every employee that entered our home was respectful and very attentive to our needs making sure every aspect of our remodel was executed to our specifications. Our project manager Jason communicated a great deal near the end of the project to ensure the final touches were just right. It was all done professionally and in a timely manner. Thanks so much Dun-Right for living up to your reputation. We truly appreciate it!
The low-key sales presentation not only answered all our questions, but also offered a side-by-side comparison of colors and finishes. The professionalism exhibited by each member of the team demonstrated their concern for quality. The price was a pleasant surprise, when compared to similar products from other suppliers.Overall, their complete product (including tear-out, installation, attention to detail, and customer follow-up) is a great value! My wife is happy, so I am happy!
The initial installer did a poor job and was very creepy. We have had to have their team come back 3-4 times to fix his mistakes- including putting the crown molding back up because if fell down. However, They are very fast to call to make follow up appointments to rectify the situation. We paid $17,000 to reface old cabinets. Photo below.
They created custom barn doors for us to turn the dining room into an official office and they turned out amazing! When getting quotes for this project I had some idea of what would look the best but with any other company I can’t believe they would have turned out as beautiful. They were professional, kind and truly cared about our project! Thank you guys so much and when we are ready to remodel the kitchen we will be giving you a call!
Dun-Rite did an awesome job on our kitchen remodel. They did Classic cabinet refacing, which are high quality and thick wood, and beautiful countertops and hardware. Price was reasonable and everyone I dealt with was very professional. They have a good system down, so you always know what to expect and how the timing will work. I was especially impressed by the initial appointment, when Brian brought the samples and stayed over 2 hours to explain our options. The one and only glitch was the wrong color sink was put in, so that did add a slight delay to change out—though they were super quick and responsive about correcting the mistake. Will definitely use Dun-Rite again when the time comes to remodel our bathrooms!
Dun-Rite replaced our windows, and they were great in accommodating our schedule. The project manager was friendly and professional. The work was completed 100% on the planned schedule, and they kept our house clean throughout.
We are repeat customers of Dun-Rite Home Improvements because of one reason… they are the best in the business! In June of 2018 we had our original kitchen cabinets resurfaced, a couple of custom kitchen cabinets built, new sink and new counter tops. The Dun-Rite crew of Dominic, Justin and Andre were exceptional! As master craftsmen their work exceeded our expectations! Any issues that came up were quickly resolved. We love how the kitchen looks now. We were so impressed with our experience with Dun-Rite we decided we would have them install our lower level flooring. Brian did a great job of working with us to find the right type and color of luxury vinyl plank flooring. Our new floor was installed by Ryan who did an exceptional job, a master craftsman with amazing attention to detail! We love our new floors, love working with Dun-Rite and their crews and wouldn’t hesitate to be repeat customers again. Dun-Rite made our home beautiful and increased its value. We have great confidence in Dun-Rite and highly recommend them! Thanks Dun-Rite!
Great work! I plan on using them in the futureThey refaced our cabinets and they looked great. The corner drawers had an issue because the old didnt have handles. So one draw opened into the handle of another. They tried changing the gap on the effect drawer which worked but they were not satisfied so ordered a slightly smaller door and drawer face.Put it on and wallah!
We are very impressed with Dun-Rite Kitchens and Baths. The salesman who first came to our house was very helpful in showing us all of our options and helping us to narrow and eliminate our selections to get to a final decision. All of the subsequent employees who either came to our house or worked with us on the phone—from the finish carpenter, to the countertop installers, plumber, project manager, and the tile craftsman- were skilled, personable, and responsible. All of the workmen vacuumed the floor and work areas before they left for the day. We are very happy with the work that was done on our kitchen project. My parents had Dun-Rite re-face their kitchen cabinets about 20 years ago and they still look great. The Company hires talented people to work for it and the workmanship stands the test of time.
We had our master bath redone. They did a great job with everything. Everyday before they left they took a lot of time to clean everything perfectly! They finished it right on time. They were always touching base with us to make sure all the details were covered. Highly recommend them 👍
We wanted to update our small kitchen that had older golden oak cabinets that had decent construction. To avoid the expense and hassle of replacing the cabinets, we researched refacing, and decided Dun-Rite was the best choice, since they use quarter-inch wood with nails. It took 5 days to complete all the cabinet doors and drawers, and we are very pleased with the hickory wood, Shaker style we chose! The installer, Jose, paid attention to details, such as around the mounted microwave, and was delightful to work with. We would recommend Dun-Rite to anyone wanting a quality cabinet refacing.
This was our 4th job with Dunrite, at three different residences for kitchen and bath remodeling. If you are someone who wants to spend a lot of time dallying over small differences between various styles and color shades, this is not the firm for you. But if you want someone who is good at narrowing down choices and then implementing the plan, they are excellent. I just hope that we dont need to use them again (meaning I am tired of remodeling, but my wife might not be)
Super overpriced! We were quoted more for laminate countertops than other companies had quoted us for granite, quartz, and marble counters haha! The estimator they send to your house is pushy like a car salesman. I did give them a star because they are very friendly, on time, and have good customer service. Just a bummer they are taking advantage of people if they think you have money or live in an expensive area of town.
I am an Engineer and I am a stickler for details as well as a sceptic. From the time I met Grant (salesman) until the first of three jobs was completed, Ive been impressed. Professionalism at is best. The team said what they would do and did what they said they would do. I trust the Dun-Rite team (Donnie, Irwin, Mike, Kate and the shower door installer (dont remember his name sorry). They are fast and efficient with their highest quality of work. Theyre not the cheapest, but I would consider them the best that Ive seen. When you share trust between the customer and supplier it makes everything so much easier. Yes, I highly recommend these guys!
We have had three home improvement projects done by Dun-Rite. All were completed in the time quoted in the contract.1. The workmen all put protective material on floor surfaces that they would me trafficking on during the project.2. The work area was cleaned and tools put away each evening.3. The workmen were all courteous, respectful and knowledgeable.4. The project was completed in a workman like manner and looked very nice when completed.5. Would recommend to family and friends.
We contracted Dun-Rite to reface our kitchen cabinets. Mike K. came to the house with many samples of styles, colors, fixtures they have to select from for the door and drawer fronts. After measurements the products were delivered to the warehouse. We were notified of installation date.Dave J., the installer was great. He was able to set up the equipment in the garage and work from there.Dave was always prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. If there was any question he took care of it right away. Dun-Rite is fortunate to have him as an employee. The value and quality was great. We enjoy our refaced kitchen cabinets.
Dun-Rite performed both a kitchen remodel and a laminate flooring installation for us. Their team was responsive, professional, and took the time to ensure that our projects were completed the way we envisioned. Any questions or items of concern we had were promptly addressed and I appreciate that one of the owners personally contacted me to ensure I was receiving good service during the project. Our kitchen turned out the way we had hoped and was completed in less time than we were quoted by other contractors. We are pleased with the results and feel the price was well worth the value received.
Brian did a wonderful job removing the old tub and tiles and installing a walk in shower and retiling. Thank you Brian. If, I could attach a photograph, I would....a very professional job.
Was just cussed out at a car wash by one of their employees for taking too long. Was one of the most childish and unprofessional displays I have ever seen. Work only goes so far when your employees act like this.
Dun-Rite did bathroom remodels in both my bathrooms in January 2020. Mike was the project coordinator and Vaughn and David did the work at my house. They were exceptional, started the day they said they would be here and finished one week sooner than they said. That was even after they ran into unexpected problems in my downstairs bathroom. They cleaned up every evening and took special care to not get our carpets and house dirty. They were very particular in every aspect of the job; treating it as if it were there own home and wanted everything done perfectly. Even after some unexpected problems they had to fix, they finished early and at no additional costs. I was very pleased with the project and my wife and I love our new bathrooms. Initially we thought the price was a little high, but after seeing what all they did to make sure everything was done correctly we feel our money was well spent. We would highly recommend Dun-Rite and would use them again.
I have used Dun-Rite Home Improvements on four separate occasions during the past twenty years, so obviously I have had good experiences. I dont care to shop for cabinets, tile, hardware, etc. Dun-Rite makes it easy for me by bringing the showroom to me. They offer a good selection from which to choose, making it very easy to make my decisions. They stick to their schedule, starting and finishing the projects on time. What I like most is their desire to please. They address any concerns I have to make sure I am happy. Mike Linsman has been especially helpful in resolving any issues I have.
Dun-Rite installed 17 new windows in our home. I couldnt be happier. The Provia window they use is a great product. Theyve made a noticeable difference in the south and west facing rooms. The process was easy and went as it was described. They showed up when they said the would. From sales, to measuring, to the installation, to clean up, everything was great. The new windows are in like they were always there. I was contacted to ensure I was satisfied with all the installation and clean up the crew did. Before choosing Dun-Rite I had bids from 3 other companies. Dun-Rite had the best window at the best price. Im glad I chose Dun-Rite. Everyone I encountered during the process was polite, courteous, and professional. When it comes time to put new windows in the back of the of the house Dun-Rite will be the only company I call.
Bought new windows from Dun-Rite. They installed 15 windows in 3 days (completely, including foam filling voids, inside and outside caulking, cleanup). New windows not only look great but make a big difference! I no longer get cold in the master bedroom at night - in fact I have to kick my covers off from getting too hot! Therefore I was able to turn the thermostat down which should save money on utilities. Also, the new windows help block sound from the road behind the house which is nice. Cant wait to see how they help cooling in the summer!
Dun-Rite recently completed a re-facing of my large kitchen, which included a 9-foot island and a large built-in pantry. Sean L. was the lead craftsman, and he was assisted by several different associates, including Donny and Jose. The work was done during Thanksgiving week, during which over 3 feet of snow fell at our home! First, I am delighted with the outcome, and feel like I have a brand new kitchen, even though the layout and the basic skeleton of the kitchen are the same. Sean and his crew were respectful of our home and us, and were quick to consult when more than one option was available. At the end of each workday, all of the debris was removed and hauled away, the kitchen was vacuumed, and I was able to work around the construction to prepare basic meals. For anyone who is contemplating the expensive and disruptive endeavor of replacing kitchen cabinets, I urge you to consider this option if your basic cabinet boxes are in good shape. The Dun-Rite designer came to our home to work with me, and it was great to be able to make choices about the wood and stain right in my own kitchen. Because we live in a full-log home, there were some challenges! Bottom line - as I said above, I am delighted with the result, and the process was made as painless as possible by Sean and his crew. Thank you, Dun-Rite!
We had two bathrooms remodeled. We had several estimates and Dunn-Rite was competitively priced. The thing that sets them apart is that they are able to schedule each phase of the job with in-house plumbers and electricians to keep the project moving and on time. The time estimate to complete both bathrooms was significantly shorter than anyone else we contacted. They were there when they said they said they would be there and did not leave the house a mess. The lead installer was there through the whole project and coordinated the job from start to end, he did an excellent job. Both bathrooms were completed ahead of the estimated date and that included a snow storm and the long Thanksgiving weekend .Communication was excellent throughout the entire remodel. We had a couple of concerns during the remodel that were addressed quickly and to our satisfaction. The quality of their work is top notch. I would not hesitate to use them again for future home projects.
Dun-rite did a great job doing my parents kitchen refaceThe work and quality was outstandingThe work was done on time and respectful of their homeThank you again
Dun Rite did a great job with our 2 new sliding Sunroom Doors!
