Stopped in here for the first time on a recommendation from a coworker and I was impressed - the moment I saw 3 hearses parked out front I had a good feeling about this place.They have a great selection of back issues, and tons of toys and figures, along with clothing and decorative pieces as well.The staff was laid back and helpful, the atmosphere is light and informal, and its just a cool place.I was pleasantly surprised by their comic prices as well - I was able to get 3 back issues of Saga and 4 X-Men back issues for half of what 1 Saga back issue wouldve cost me going to that other giant comic book store...you know the one.Kudos to Vision for fair prices, great selection, and a fantastic store - I will definitely return!

Absolutely love this place. Staff was super friendly and didnt mind me taking a good amount of time to look around. I wound up only buying a Funko Pop, but only because I didnt have enough money for more stuff. This place is a haven for any horror enthusiasts, comic book lovers, and lovers of anything occult. Man this place is rad! A nice selection of comics, manga, cool figures and pops through out the store. The staff there is super chill and helped me out with any questions I had, and there prices are great its hard to leave without buying something. I say if you like comics and other pop culture stuff definitely stop by and browse around!

This place is really cool! We were vacationing in Denver and stopped at several comic shops, this was the coolest and most friendly of them all. Staff greeted you upon entry. They have a good selection of back issues, that are appropriately priced, and lots of other nerdy goodies. I am a niche collector so they did not have anything on my want list, but that is not their fault, everything they had I had LOL. This is the kind of local shop where I would like to leave some money at. My son got some cool earrings and a couple of other little items, and also says this was the spot of all the ones we visited. If you are local or visiting, add this place to your comic crawl.

This place is great. They have a ton of stuff and a great atmosphere. I go to shops in every city I go to and they are one of the better gems Ive found so far.

After having a bad experience at another LCS I felt it appropriate to tell everyone about my good experiences at other shops. The crew at Vision Comics & Oddities are awesome, they’re always very welcoming and polite. Their prices are some of the best in town and they have a great selection of very nice “wall comics” and back issues. Give them a shot, you won’t be disappointed!!

Really cool owners and staff. Super helpful. Good deals. There are a lot of comic book stores in the Denver metro area but if you like unique finds with a darker punk rock/horror vibe this store is worth checking out.

HUGE selection of back issues with incredibly friendly, helpful, and funny employees! The books are all organized really well and its easy to find different lines. I will definitely be coming back here if Im in town again!

I have been to a hundred comic shops (or more) in my life and this is one of the best I have EVER seen. Amazing floor plan, 50k+ long box comics, awesome toys and esoterica collections, and a super-fun horror theme. You MUST stop at Chris’s shop! Not your typical comic store... in addition to the large back issue selection and weekly release wall, they also have a ton of cool stuff including figures and everything horror themed. Owner/staff are friendly and helpful.

Like an island for misfit toys run by misfit toys, no matter how oddly or straight cut your personal edges may be you get treated like family here. I bought a lifelong dream collectable here that I will cherish until I die. Thats a win!!

Friendly gave me a good deal on some graphic novels

Before arriving at this store, I wondered about the oddities. What would they be? And how odd, really? Upon entering, I got it. This is a store that’s half comic-books, and half Halloween – yes, a costume shop. Like if The Wizard’s Chest had a full comics area instead of games and gaming downstairs. I think there’s another half to this shop that’s indie rock and roll, but that would be three halves, and that’s a wild, unproven theory based on clues here and there. I suppose I should just stick to the facts.The primary fact is this: it’s a combination that works in an entertaining, fun way. There are bizarre costumes, and creepy figures, and scary statues, and masks and toys and props… and comics, too, lots of comics. Another fact: it’s a large building, and very open toward the back, with lots of floor space. I bet when they have special events, they are able to really go all out.The owner/manager/person on duty told me they do enjoy putting on such events, particularly for kids. They have a Back-to-School night among the other, more typical comic-book happenings (like FCBD). There is a kid’s corner, with lots and lots of toys (some adorably creepy) and a nice selection of kid-appropriate comics on display, too.Just considering comic-related facts, here’s what you’ll find: a good, broad selection of new comics, a lot of long boxes dedicated to back issues, a small selection of older comics (Bronze Age, a few Silver), a lot of shelves for an interesting mix of trades and hardcovers. There are sections for manga, Harry Potter books and toys, Star Wars comics and books and toys, and sci-fi books, and horror books (naturally), and posters and DVDs.There are a few pinball machines, too! If I were a kid who lived near this shop, I would be hanging out here all the time! They would have had a lot of trouble getting rid of me at closing time. When I visited recently, I stayed a lot longer than I intended. I didn’t play pinball, but next time…

Best collectible shop, amazing prices, and the absolute coolest guy runs this store. I sat there and talked for about 20 minutes and I never do that but this guy is the coolest and has a great story.

Clean nice place with a great variety of new issues not bagged and boarded and many many back issues that are all bagged and boarded. Loads of Figures and all manner of collectibles. Vision has a pinball machine a play area for kids and MOST IMPORTANT- really good pricing and a very friendly and helpful man inside!If you a collector and you have not been here, you owe it to yourself to drop by.

We went there just expecting comics and maybe some funko pops but were beyond delighted to find oddities means horror collectibles, taxidermy, tons of local artist fare, alternative clothes, and more. If you love horror, goth, creepy, or otherwise truly odd things youll love this place. Someone going with kids and a traditional x-tian mindset may faint but theyve got plenty of places in the world to shop so oh well. Definitely going to visit again and again. We got so many cool things and had great convos with all the staff. Looove.

This place is amazing. The owner is a super chill dude. Punk rock on the radio everytime I come in. I get a real good sense of customer appreciation from this guy. Hes got back issues for days which is exactly what I am in the market for. Vision is hands down my favorite shop in the greater Denver area. Will be a regular visitor so long this place is open.

I met this interesting man named Chris who owns the store today, a store I have passed by millions of times since Ive been in Colorado and today I stopped by and my mind was blown away by the many different types of collectibles offered at this location! Chris is an awesome guy who you can tell lives and breathes comics and odd things. He gets just as excited as you do when you find something new! I love the local artist area he has set up, and hes such a chill guy to talk with. He has a large variety of comics, including horror comics. His prices are amazing, and given the fact hes the only person working there makes how much new stuff comes to the floor that much more impressive.

Excellent place for exactly what it says in the business name. The owner is amazing and knowledgeable. The shop has all the comics I can ask for and theres a great feel to the place. Anywhere I can pick up my comics, find dragons, zombies, and toys is far up on my list of places to be. Definitely come in and youll see this is a rare gem and worth coming to often. Cool anime figures and Star Wars collectibles. Didnt brows their comics too much. But they had some solid Captain America comics there. Dont remember if tpb or just back issues. Odd to say the least. In a good way. Do you like flesh chairs? They have them? Old anime figures? Check.

Great comic and collectibles shop with a great and wide selection of whatever youre after. There are even toys spread throughout that the kiddos can play with while you peruse. The guy who owns and runs Vision is a really cool guy who remembers his customers so you never feel like youre just another transaction to him.

Cool store, more than only comics, worth another trip and to spend a bit more time looking for some specifics.

Very awesome place!!! Did not know how cool it was until I walked in. If you are a comic fan in Colorado this is a must go. Talked with Chris about how much he supports local artists. Thats what its about and I will be back soon.

This is my new favorite comic book shop. The space is kid friendly with all the higher end collectables at eye level or behind glass. The owner is very helpful and the prices are spot on and extremely fair. We will be back soon.
