I recently found this shop when I needed to have the engine rebuilt in my Subaru, and I couldnt be happier with the services Ive had done here. Not only are the prices very competitive, Vlad and his crew built and installed a new engine for me in about a week. Ive since gone back a few times for oil changes and have nothing but great things to say about this shop. I truly cannot recommend Vlad and Specialized Preferred Auto enough. He’s been my go to for everything from replacing a headlight to a whole new AC system and everything between. He is very knowledgeable, honest and always strives to provide the best value for his customers. Although I’ve now moved about 45 minutes from Vlad’s shop, I would never bring my car anywhere else and will continue to be a loyal customer for years to come.

It’s very rare that your mechanic talks you out of spending money, and I’m fortunate to have met one of those. Vlad always helps me prioritizing my vehicle maintenance and service, and specifies what’s necessary or urgent. I feel like I always get a timely service and extremely fast turnaround at more than reasonable price, even considering my last minute requests. I have to admit, that before my major (used vehicle) purchase I went to see three mechanics(I trust but verify), Vlad was the least pretentious and the most informative person, was able to spot every minor issue, communicate solutions in very simple terms, and gave me a short summary of what to be prepared for. I have had Vlad work on several cars and recommend him most highly. He is very knowledgable, pleasant, and has quick turnaround and extremely competitive prices. I had been using the dealership for some work, but have found Vlads work to be better, less expensive, and easier to schedule. When my sons Subaru Outback had the engine go out unexpectedly, Vlad helped with towing, found a replacement engine, and had the car back on the road within a week and its been running flawlessly ever since.
