I have been going to A-1 Auto since Dennis first opened up many years ago. He is honest and professional. Recently, I was in Sarasota and my car would not start. I had it towed from Sarasota to A-! in Englewood, as I would never go to anyone else. It needed a relay and that was taken care of promptly. I highly recommend A-1 Auto!!

Absolutely wonderful!! I can not thank these guys enough. I drove in from Tennessee for work and had issues with my vehicle while on the highway saying the transmission fluid temp was too high. This morning as Im a nervous wreck, they got me in as soon as they could to check my car. Turned out that my ball joints were really bad and my tires were almost bald on top of needing a filter for my transmission. Cecil is probably the sweetest man ever!!!! He drove me back to my friends house and picked me up when my car was finished. I still have tears in my eyes for how grateful I am to everyone that was there today!!!! Thank you again ❤

A-1 Auto Care was awesome! I had a bad scraping noise coming from my front brake and on the off chance late in the day I swung in and Dennis said hed take a look. He put it up on the lift and all he had to do was bend some metal back and VIOLA! NO MORE NOISE ! He didnt even charge me! Thats HONEST HOMETOWN SERVICE!

One of the most difficult things to do is find an honest mechanic. Well look no more. A-1 Auto Care is spectacular.Im big on customer service, and they have it in spades.One thing that impressed me was the overall knowledge on display. All the techs there are great and they are ASC certified.The turnaround time is great as well. Out of my many visits Ive only had to leave my truck there overnight once. We had them repair our Toyota that was not running properly. After 1 month the car began running poorly again. One of the parts they replaced was defective. They replaced it in less than 1 hour, free of charge. Its been running fine for 3 months now. Ill go back!

This guy is disrespectfull and over charged my grandfather grandmother and tried to lie to us about the repairs. Hes very slick as in building elderly trust . And his reviews are old and yes its say 5 star lol but only 15 reviews no . Shops in Florida need stop taking advantage of elderly like this guy . Be careful check baby is best bet.

I recently took my 2009 Honda Accord into the Port Charlotte Honda dealer for a scheduled service call dealing with recurring ABS and VSA lights appearing on my dashboard instrument panel.I was told that I would need to replace the ABS Computer Module - to the tune of $1,400.00 + tax.I had my auto serviced prior at A-1 Auto Care by Dennis and his team and decided to have them provide me a 2nd opinion of the problem.The findings by A-1 Auto Care was a totally different assessment. They ran a diagnostic scope on my Honda, road-tested it for good measure prior to providing me what they thought was the fix and as an end result.. it was a faulty rear brake sensor that was the culprit. Dennis does quality work

I used them for years for all my auto needs. Then, one summer, I received a coupon in my mailbox for a free oil change at another local auto shop and tried them for a bit. After a year of standard oil changes, this new shop told me I suddenly had a $3,500 problem with my new 2008 Toyota. The guy said he heard something in the engine. I went back to A1 for a second quote and they found nothing wrong. Mr. Guzik test drove the car, opened the hood, and hooked it up to a computer- something the other place didnt even attempt but wanted me to shell out some big cash for something he heard that I wasnt capable of hearing... even though Im a professional, classically trained and degreed musician. I will never leave Dennis Guzik and his amazing staff at A1 Auto Care again! They give me the truth every time with reasonable pricing. You cant beat honest, clean, and efficient business.
