The sales department at BMW Encinitas is 5 stars. Did EXACTLY what they promised and be sure to ask for Adham. Also Morgan in financing, AWESOME!!! As for the hyspanic guys in the service department, keep them away from your car. Flares on the bottom of the car had all kinds of hair line scratches after they cleaned the dirt off and when they put the license plate frame on my car, the guy dropped/laid the frame and the hardware on my deck lid and acted as if it was no big deal. So weak and unprofessional. Though everything else; TOP NOTCH!!!

I had my car repaired at body shop after a collision. The experience is so much smooth. All the open ticket issues resolved by the body shop. The paint job is excellent and looks like new. Everything is fine now. I am happy to drive my car again.

Excellent customer service. Sales agent, Clark, was knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant. I traveled from out of state to purchase a used vehicle and was treated like I was an important customer. There were a few glitches in the out of state registration process, but the Finance Manager, Eddie, helped and was accommodating. Dealership is clean and staff was great. Would definitely buy again from them and will recommend others.

Shout out to Jordan in Sales, getting me the EXACT X5 I was looking for, Eddie in finance for explaining in detail everything as I was signing and friendly with my step son, Chris in the service dept for showing top tier professionalism every step of the way until I received my car after some minor work and Heather for calling me and fitting me in the schedule earlier than expected. Service personnel were all courteous and professional. Timely as well. Called me with recs and the Dept had my M2 ready at the stated timeframe. No up-sell was nice. The wash service is a VERY nice touch. Can’t underestimate the importance of seeing one shiny car after another coming out of the BMW Encinitas driveway all the time. It’s free advertising and it works on some level.A bit $ though for a regular service. But alas, knew that when I bought the car.Thanks.

Mike V. is the best Service Advisor currently employed by BMW.Maintenance was incorrectly done on my F80 by another M Certified BMW dealership. Mike V. of BMW of Encinitas was able to fit me in, short notice, unscheduled, on a Friday night, as the service department was closing, to assist in undoing what the other dealership had done. The following week I dropped the car off with him and he jumped through several bureaucratic hoops to ensure that my car would get the maintenance it needed, done correctly, free of charge to me.What is equally impressive is the knowledge he possesses regarding BMW M vehicles. He took his time to look over the car with me for over an hour, answering the numerous questions I had. I just leased a M340i from BMW Encinitas and my Sales Associate was Sarah Pearson, I highly recommend working with this dealership and in particular Sarah as this was a great experience.I was undecided on the model I wanted and Sarah went above and beyond to make sure we test drove every option I was considering.The negotiation was perfect and the completion in the finance office was the best I have had after experiencing recent disappointment at another competing brand dealership.The follow up post transaction has also been the best, Sarah has followed up with calls and emails to make sure all was good and helped coordinate a meeting with the BMW Genius to help me learn about the cars technology.

All around, the best car buying experience I have ever had! The Sales manager Steve was very helpful in helping me secure the car I had my eye on for weeks and at first it was all through email. I filled out the online application for credit which was super easy and approval came in very quickly; same day in fact! The car was now reserved until I could drive down on the weekend to test drive it and make sure everything was good which it was. The finance manager Jeremy was also very helpful and made the last part of the process very pleasant and never felt pressured. The only thing that was missing in the end was one of two keys and the manual but Steve said he would take care of it and send it to me. I AM IMPRESSED!

I found the verbal questions asked were not answered true. How long has the car been sitting on the lot for sale? Only a week he said. It was a transfer from Vista BMW to Encinitas documented on their internal inventory transfer over two months ago. I new the answer before I asked. One example of the beginning of not being honest because you dont want to be in less negotiating position than the customer. Using another strategy to gain negotiating or not losing the sale of the customer walking away like having another salesman call my salesman to say another customer wants to see the same car, who you think youre fooling. That did not play a factor in my position to buy the car. I traded in my car and it evened out the sale price. So the dealer win and I win, a win-win is a good thing right? Well for me as a customer to recognized this experienced in this transaction I LESS likely refer my friends or family, number 2, I will give fair review for others to read, and number 3, I will MOST likely go to another dealership in the future. Now the dealership should think twice with its strategy in sales and negotiating approach. And if it was really bad where it violated business practice I have the state general attorney or the FTC, federal trade commission.

I liked the car, they were able to give me what I wanted for my trade in and I was in and out within 2-3 hours. Sold a car with numerous issues that were overlooked on the inspection that was done prior to the sale. There has been no attempts to make it right whatsoever. Andres was the one who was especially not helpful. I’m writing this for anyone looking to do business with them. Don’t. Save yourself the unneeded stress and worry and don’t buy anything from them. It’s a money hungry scram looking to leave you with little to nothing. They sell bad cars in unfit conditions without notifying the consumer of the defects. Busy place, but folks made it a point to make sure they acknowledged me and that someone would be with me as soon as possible. Purchased an older used car and they were flexible in allowing me to take the vehicle to a 3rd party inspection location, of my choice. This went a long way for me, as some, but not all dealerships had the same flexibility. Though there are the dealer-conducted inspections, for a purchase of an older used car, this gives you the added confidence in the vehicle, from another set of experienced eyes.

Overall the work was performed correctly and the issue the car was brought in for was fixed. The only negative was that the car was returned to me with a damaged component that was not disclosed, most likely because it wasnt tested after the dashboard was re-assembled to be sure there werent any issues.It too has subsequently been repaired, so everything is back to its original working order.

Excellent selection of well equipped vehicles. Straight forward and transparent pricing. Too many finance and insurance department selections, but we were treated well and made to feel like valued customers. Will be going back here for an M3 next year.As a note, the dealership is very outdated and has a disjointed showroom, but they are moving into a new showroom being built in Carlsbad in the coming months.

Eight years ago I purchased my used BMW 328I from Encinitas BMW, and Ive been taking it there for maintenance ever since. The last two maintenance appointments I was assigned to Mike Voiles as my service advisor. Over the past eight years Ive been assigned a variety of service representatives, both good and bad, but Mike has been by far the best.Mike has consistently displayed a very high level of professionalism, utilizes excellent customer service skills, and has the ability to communicates in an open and honest manner. Mike is highly motivated, extremely knowledgable, clearly describes all maintenance aspects and options for you car, and is alway cognizant of ways to save money on maintenance costs. I’ll never take my car to a BMW dealership for service again, and if for some reason I have to, I will definitely not bring it back to the service center in Encinitas, CA. They took advantage of my situation, gave me contradictory information to the point that after they charged me a lot of money to fix nothing, I picked up my car (still not repaired) and just prayed I’d make it home in one piece. I should just have called AAA or gone to an auto center for assistance, since I understood the general diagnosis better than the staff. Worst “attempted” car repair experience ever because they tried to add an additional thousand dollars to my bill for an issue that wasn’t urgent, did not fix my urgent issue at all, but still charged me $200, I had to pay $75 for my own transportation, and they left me hanging all day telling me misinformation until I was frantic because I had critical appointments I absolutely couldn’t miss - which they knew about in advance. SO….this is why people tell you not to waste your time and money getting your car serviced at a dealership. My past experiences with other BMW locations were so-so/okay, but this last one in Encinitas was a nightmare! Ps. I want to specify that call center staff I talked with were excellent, it was the actual on-site staff that either took advantage on purpose or due to incompetence, perhaps both.

After test driving the car right away based on my “Must have” and few options considered, we found an agreement and Less than an hour later I ended up driving the car home after having finished signing all the paperwork. From start to finish, even with bringing two little kids with us, we felt valued, welcome, and at home. No weird pressure, just a complicated process made easier amongst BMW connoisseurs. I was at this dealership for inspection of my car before a long trip. Even though the car checked out fine they performed an unnecessary oil & filter change. It was recommended they told me and I requested do it only if necessary. They told me it was necessary and did it and charged me more than $560. They did not offer any available discounts initially then said 10% after my request to search. I had an offer from BMW in an e-mail offering $ 75 for service greater than $500. Since their initial charge was for $640; they gave me $75 off .In my opinion, this dealership lacks helpfulness, honesty and integrity in service. For them customer does not come first.

Had a great experience buying a used 2014 Dodge Challenger Rallye Redline. We were in and out in less than an hour and a half purchasing my sons car...financing was a snap.....Ask For Ben, the salesperson with whom we dealt and Devin the finance guy.When we got home, there was an oil leak and wires hanging out from the right front air dam. Since it is under warranty, AutoNation did repair the gasket leak--completely. They helped me fix the air dam issue and, since there was no way to prove that it was done before or after purchase, we split the repair 50/50.I am not a shyster, and I know there are many out there, but they gave me the benefit of the doubt. I worked with the Sales Manager, I worked with Davin in finance (go to him for finance), and Ben (salesperson). Everyone on the team was courteous and helped as much as they could. Need a little more accountability, access, and follow-through. When I sign for my car, I expect it to be the beginning of our relationship. But, send me off with a missing spare key and a promise to get it me but then forget. Don’t respond to messages. Accidentally call me back when management says to call for a survey. Purchase was great and smooth and I was very satisfied, at first. However, I traded in my old vehicle and it took the dealership several weeks to send payment for the vehicle purchase resulting in me still being charged by my old finance company for the vehicle I no longer owned. BMW Encinitas said it was because I didnt turn off my auto-pay... I have never experienced this issue with a trade in that was on auto pay, and I have made a handful of car purchases with a trade in on auto pay with none resulting in this issue. My old loan provider confirmed that the payoff amount from BMW didnt come through until roughly 3 weeks after my purchase/trade-in transaction. I am supremely disappointed in this dealership, as I spent a full day calling the dealership to speak to a person, any person, regarding what went wrong and I couldnt get a hold of anyone, I finally had to dig out to poor sales reps number and had him run down the correct personnel. I expected a slightly more high touch service than what I received and am now left closing the loop on my old vehicle purchase just to ensure I receive the monthly payment back that shouldnt have been taken out

Overall a good experience. However, usually when I buy a car Im offered a bottle of water and meet the sales manager. I was given water AFTER I bought the vehicle and was driving off the lot. And the sales manager that I made the deal with didnt introduce himself. Doesnt sound like a big deal, but when youre paying a lot for a luxury car, little things like that are expected. A place like Fletcher Jones treats customers like royalty. BMW Encinitas does not, apparently. For a luxury dealership, I wasnt made to feel very special. Very average experience.

I recently traded in a car and purchased a new vehicle from BMW of Encinitas and am happy to report it was a great experience from stepping foot on the lot until I drove off in my new car. I did comparison shopping across several manufactures as well as dealerships in my area for a few weeks. While several were very professional in getting back to me; BMW of Encinitas soon stood out. I had called ahead when I was ready to buy/talk in person about a trade in and what they could do for me. They set up a very convenient time for my schedule and the sales team ensured I was kept up to date (if there was a potential wait/schedule overrun) via text. Upon arrival I was very professionally and politely showed the inventory on hand and was also shown available vehicles in the area. They made a very strong offer on my trade-in, were open as well as fair about the negotiation process for my new car (no pressure or disappearing to talk with managers), and bettered the standing financing offer I had from my bank (they did that while not delaying the process and had me in and out of the finance office in short order). Sales Team (Schuyler was my primary and Justin set everything up for my appointment and greeted me upon arrival) and finance office (sorry I forgot his name but only the 4th day on the job and he was super efficient and friendly) were excellent. Only thing that holds me back from a perfect score is the lot is jammed packed, parking is hard to find, and the layout is a bit of a labyrinth. Could use an move to a bigger and better set up/ location.

Mike is sincerely the most reliable person that I have worked with in BMW. I have been to 3 BMW dealerships and all of them give good service. However, I feel Mike Voiles consistently goes above and beyond. I have worked with him for the past 8 years and he professional, transparent and easy to work with. Mike has always tried to get me the best price and when he cannot, he is honest about it. It is one of the reasons that I bring all my cars to BMW Encinitas. When I need a loader (and the front desk states they have none), he somehow comes up with a loaner car for me to make it less inconvenient for me. If you want great service, ask for him. Outstanding job.

We’ve been customers at BMW Encinitas for a few years now and we couldn’t be happier. The dealership and it’s service department is wonderful, but the main reason we’ve had such a remarkable experience is because of a Service Manager there named Joey. Sadly, he recently transferred to a different dealership location. But based on the amazing service experience we’ve had with Joey over the years, we’ll be customers for life. He provided us the type of personal care and customer service that they write about in business and marketing books. The type of service the creates lifelong relationships with customers.Whenever my wife has had to bring her car in for service, she did so with zero worry because she was 100% confident she’d be taken care of and we could count on the best service and work on her beloved car possible.She happened to bring her car in for work the Joey was transferring and she let him know how disappointed she was to hear this. To make sure we were ok, after services were complete, Joey even took the time to call and reassure me that his team and service department manager, Mikey, would continue to make sure that we were always well taken care of and that nothing would change on their end — so we had nothing to worry about. Talk about going the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. It doesn’t get any better than this. Thanks so much to Joey, Mikey, and the entire BMW Encinitas service team. I was interested in one of their incoming vehicles and signed the pricing sheet to secure the deal.Kept track of the cars progress over the weeks up until it said delivered at the dealership, and then tried reaching out to the salesperson I was working with, Ben Regis. Didnt hear back until days later that his manager sold the car to someone else. Placed the blame on his team due to gross incompetence.Sent an email to him and the manager with no response. Instead, I worked with BMW irvine on my purchase.

Great service, took my car on time, were done within the time estimate they gave me and gave it back washed (and it looked like they waxed it too because it was much shinier than when I wash it) and vacuumed. Very happy with their service!

I purchased a CPO 17 3 series in Oct. 20 with ~18K miles. My car said service was soon due and I also received an email so I scheduled a service appointment and took it in this a.m. (5/28 - appt. scheduled for 0900). When the service rep. (Art A.) called me to go over the service that was showing as being needed, the service quote was initially $1199.00 which I was not happy with.The services he said that were needed included a 36 point inspection, wiper blade replacement, key FOB battery, oil/oil filter change, cabin filter replacement, fluids topped off, etc. I told him I didnt need all that but he said he couldnt clear the service required unless it was done. He then told me I could purchase an extended warranty for $1000.00 that was good only until Sept. 21 (that was a 48 mo./50K warranty that was good from original in service date of 09/16/17), hence 4 month and the warranty is done. I was also advised that it would take ~ 1 - 1 1/2 hrs., almost 2 1/2 hrs. later it was finished (yes, I was there waiting for it). Leaving there very angry, I get home to review the bill and 2 outright lies are stated on the bill. 1) Customer requested multi-point inspection performed this visit (I NEVER requested this, I was told I had to have the services indicated, or they couldnt clear the service message) and 2) Customer states that wipers are streaking, please check and advise. Both lies and Im extremely disgusted with this! So, again, after reviewing the bill, I had a pair of wipers, oil change and cabin filter.This, in my opinion, is by FAR, the WORST experience Ive ever had from any service center and would never recommend to anyone.
