The emporia location always has pretty good stock of anything you need. Their deals are average with other stores, right now they have some pretty good clearance items. Theres one employee that is exceptional above all his name is John an older gentleman awesome by far. Now if you get the unfortunate experience of dealing with anybody else youre probably going to feel about 2 in tall or have the wrong part given to you or pretty much just indirectly told your S.O.L. I would say this is a personal opinion but even friends and specifically my mother has gone in there and came out with the same opinion. I would be grateful for curbside to go cuz then you dont have to deal with too much interaction with the employees. The 2 star rating is for their inventory and mostly John(employee).

Usually have what im looking for. Seems they could use a little more help in store at times. They get a little overwhelmed.All in all I still miss Vista. I think thats why I still go here.(For non locals, Vista was an old drive in burger place. One left in Manhattan. Good memories)

Good people. John is one of the most friendly hard working guy. He goes way above and beyond to take care of any customer. Henry is a good manage. He is straight forward and to the point. Both men are easy to deal with and show lots of respect. Very knowledgeable, outgoing, friendly, honest, well spoken, well mannered, helpful guys. They deserve anything the company has to offer. They have stayed open a little late at times if they knew i was coming in and it was quick. They didnt seemed stressed or in a hurry. Store is very clean and stuff is easy to find. They know where everything is and never leave you to find something on your own. Great family and personal place. I recommend this store to anyone for anything vehicle needed. John has went outside and helped figure out a problem with my vehicle several times. They will answer any question without being annoyed even if its a dumb question. They smile and joke. They are in the perfect store. Always busy and ready for anything.

Ive gone to AutoZone as my exclusive auto parts store for at least 10 years. Jim, the lead customer service guy, sets the standard as an example and mentor to the men and women that work with him. These folks will patiently answer your questions, loan you equipment, hook up analysis machines to your vehicle and explain the answer, call other stores for parts they dont have in stock and exchange windshield wipers that have been opened for the correct part and then install the wipers in the rain, in the dark, 10 minutes before closing. Ive seen it.

Cross County move & broke down on the side of the highway. Made it to AutoZone, & John was amazing help... got tools & parts we needed to try & fix it... unfortunately it was beyond my repair capabilities. But they were nice, courteous & honest. Helped decipher the codes as well... Even though we couldnt fix it, they recommend a great mechanic Big Bens that helped us the next day.

Have had most everything I have gone in looking for over the years. Helpful and knowledgable staff that have helped me many times. They also provide tools with a deposit so you dont have to buy an expensive tool that your only going to use once.

My truck broke down between Emporia and Topeka, at 7 PM, 5 hours from home. After getting towed to AutoZone, we were able to get what we needed, borrow the stores tools, and fix it in their parking lot. An employee then jump started the truck for us. The employees were very friendly and helpful. Very impressed!

My drivers side windshield wiper stopped working during a rainstorm while traveling from Wichita to Lawrence. It was after 6 pm so we were worried wed be stuck. We called the Autozone in Emporia and the gentleman that answered said to stop in and they would take a look. The bolt that secures the actual wiper to the vehicle was extremly loose and bent. Autozone employee Nelson R. secured the bolt, bent the arm back in place and realigned both wipers. What a life saver! I offered him money but he refused stating theyre not allowed to accept tips. We were back on the road in no time and safely arrived in Lawrence. Thanks, Nelson R., youre the best!!
