I was referred to this shop by a friend after dealing with a couple of the bigger dealers, my friend has family working at the dealers and they recommended this place. What a pleasure was dealing with Mr. Alli, professional and honest, he will communicate with you and try to help with your automotive needs without trying to squeeze every dollar out of your bank account. He has now taken care of both my vehicles. Since I have a basic understanding of mechanics and know how many hours it takes to do many jobs, some I could do myself just dont have the tools or the time, I feel very comfortable recommending everyone to go there.

Simply fantastic from start to finish. Ali took time to call and make sure he understood the problem I had before starting work. Then he called with an update letting me know he was running a bit long. Finally he offered to stay late so I could get there after hours to pick up my car. I made other arrangements with him which made picking it up after hours a breeze. Once done he called and offered a suggestion of some additional things to watch. All of this for a very reasonable price. Ive found a new mechanic for my car. Oh yeah, he also personally called the next day to make sure it was working well. Im hooked!

For several years I and the other adults in my household have been taking our cars exclusively to Safari Auto for maintenance, repair, and inspection. Ali is always very thorough in his explanation of what needs to be done, and he is accurate with his cost and time estimates. The costs are very reasonable, and the work is completed when promised. There is never a surprise when I go to pick up the car. If he finds a problem that we didnt discuss, he calls and explains what it is, how urgent it is, and what the options are for dealing with it.My car is a 16 year old PT Cruiser with a manual transmission. Recently the shift action had become loose to the point that it was sometimes difficult to find the right gear. Ali diagnosed the problem as a worn out bushing on the shift cable, but a replacement part was not available. He fashioned a replacement from another part, and now the shift action is as good as new. He only charged me for the half hour it took to install the part.

We came here looking for a car for our teenage sons, backed with multiple reviews from neighbors and coworkers that we would receive a honest small business owner that was easy to work with. We purchased a car and he was honest and helpful in helping us make the decision between a few options in our price point. Ali was amazing and very helpful for an issue with our sunroof that the dealership refused to help with. He was able to just get the parts that I needed without having to replace the entire assembly. It was easy to schedule an appointment, and they have reasonable prices. I’ve gone twice, once for an oil change and they topped off all my fluids, and the second time was for a check engine light, which ended up just being my gas cap not closed fully - they didn’t charge me for that one. I intend to go again when I need to get new tires (which they said I’d need soon when I had my oil changed). I feel like they look after their customers and are easy to work with.

He will take care of all his customers and this is his word. If you need your car worked on come here! I was in Allentown PA on vacation, when my car started acting funny. When I got here I met with Don and was told that he was booked for the night but would try his best to get me in. And he did! He went above and beyond expectations, he called everyone he knew and got all of the parts to fix my car, convinced his workers to stay late, and even found me a coupon to cut the price down. If you come here ask for Don, hes a hard worker and gives it his all for the customer.

I had an emergency situation with my car along with a time crunch and place to be. The employee greeted me with such kindness and understanding. Immediately stopped what he was doing to try and help me get this resolved as fast as he could so I could get to where I needed to go. You dont usually get this kind of excellent service when you pull in unexpectedly. I was so thankful for both the owner and the employee for not only handling my issue respectfully and in a timely manner but also explaining everything thoroughly throughout the process. Fantastic service!The first time I went was to get an oil change because the price was reasonable and was helped right away. Didnt have to wait long which i loved (Walmart was gonna have me wait for 4 hours)I remembered the owner being super friendly which is why i decided to go back and get front brakes and rotors in thereAnd again fast service! I will be advising friends and family against participating in business with this establishment. Readers digest version of my roommates interaction with Safari Automotive service.... she woke up to a flat tire on her car on a Sunday, and was grateful to hear that Safari could remedy her problem. Wonderful, right? She brings the car to the shop and he takes it right back. Upon trying to leave, hiss, the tire is again leaking. For a second time the mechanic takes the vehicle back and then tells her he cannot patch the hole as it is too close to the wheel wall. Still okay, he offers to sell a tire with similar tread to the others tires. He takes the car back and changes the tire. Again, she tries to leave. And again the tire (the new tire) is leaking. The guy admits that he missed seeing a hole in the new tire! Third try now, gotta be the lucky try, right? He puts the third tire on and she drives away. Happy ending?Not so much. Two months later, take the car in for routine oil change at a different garage. The mechanic offers tire rotation, but whats this? The tire purchased from safari automotive is in such poor shape, that the tire they made her pay for is in such awful condition and worn so unevenly, that its bad and the tires cant be rotated.Save your time and money. Get your car services done at a more reliable, trustworthy establishment.

This shop is reliable in its diagnostics, the repairs are all top quality, they were accommodating when it came to working around my work schedule for vehicle drop off, pick up, prioritizing what work must be done, projecting what work I might need in the future and making payment easy and convenient. The owner even makes it a point to call me directly a few days after I have my vehicle back to make sure that everything is working properly and that I am satisfied with the repair work! Ive been going to Safari Auto since we moved to Emmaus in 2009. Ali has always taken care of my cars. I recently ran into a situation where both my cars broke down. I took them to Safari and Ali quickly identified the issue with both cars and fixed them within a reasonable timeline and cost, way cheaper than anyone else near by was quoting me for the repairs. If he finds additional issues with the car he lets you know if it needs to resolved right away or it can wait. He doesnt just make the repair without your approval. He also shows you what was damaged and the new parts he used to replaced them. Lets see how many auto shops do that without you asking.
