The weather can change here in Denver pretty quickly, so you learn how to strategically layer in order to stay comfortable. It can be a struggle to find quality accessories that are as equally warm and comfortable as they are fashionable. Besides the obvious beauty of the products, what really intrigued me about Loveknitz is their commitment to making quality products with natural fibers that arent mass produced. I received my pearl stitched ombre hat and scarf as a Christmas gift from my husband, and my already high expectations were greatly exceeded upon unwrapping each piece. First the hat, which Ive been wearing for almost 3 months now and its fit hasnt changed at all. The stretch of the knit is comfortable enough to wear all day without the fear of it falling off your head when you’re active. It is one of the warmest hats I’ve worn and I’ve been really happy with how it repels moisture. It looks great whether it’s worn slouchy or fitted, and I’ve been getting tons of compliments on it. I did not anticipate how much I would love the detachable fox-fur pom. I thought I would find myself removing it more often for different looks, but I just miss it when it’s not there! It really is the icing on the cake with the texture and color it adds. The scarf is another item I had no idea I needed as much as I did. I’ve since gotten rid of all my big bulky scarves, as I found myself grabbing this one every time I left the house. Everything about the fabric is amazing: the color and ombre effect, how soft and light weight it feels, and how ridiculously warm it is! In addition to it completing my outerwear look, I’ve also worn it to accessorize a comfy sweater, and I regularly wear it opened as a shawl while I’m at work. The prices of each item were not cheap – but I can already tell that they’re worth the investment. I know that these pieces will be in my wardrobe for many years, and I’m looking forward to adding other styles and colors in the future.
