My 18 year old son went to minute clinic at this CVS location for a sports physical. Minute clinic staff would not let him do physical without a parent present. He told them he was 18 and didn’t need a parent, they disagreed. I had to leave work and go to clinic. When I challenged the need for me to be there the minute clinic staff person literally laughed loudly in my face. The head staff person told me to leave the store when I asked to see the policy requiring me to be there. They refused to provide their names.Called corporate and they said we were correct, an 18 year old does not need a parent present. They wasted our time and interrupted my job. These clinic people are disrespectful and ignorant of the polices and laws concerning healthcare. What else don’t they know? The store manager was excellent taking my complaint. Avoid the clinic if you can,

I often come at night when less people are there and I have been helped by Rudy at the pharmacy a few times now. She really tries to help me out as I seem to have trouble with nearly every refill I have. But she always finds a way to make it right and take care of the situations.

Always understaffed. Good luck if you’re in the drive-thru after dark, or on a weekend. If there’s a single car in front of you, expect to be there for a while. It’s not too bad during the day time on a Tuesday.

Do not schedule testing with these people, you will get the run around. No one in the building knows where to send you, they had me running in circles even though I made an appointment I ended up going to Walgreens. And I’m canceling my monthly plan. You don’t deserve my business! Very unprofessional

Horribly understaffed pharmacy. Always at least a 15-45 minute wait to even SEE or TALK to a pharmacist or tech. I complained to the front desk and the nice young man said “good luck with that”.

Horrible. They made my mom sit for anitbody test over 30 minutes and after that they said she was too late for her test. She was right on time for het test. Bad bad experience.

Goodbye CVS. North Ave 60126I have called 5 time this morning 02/20/21 time 7:39am Saturday morning. Someone answered the phone and they did not say anything and then hang up. I tried to work around the hold time and press the button for the Pharmacy after several rings someone answered and transferred supposedly to the front customer service team. The phone rang & rang and rang ...someone picked up and then disconnected.BS.Good Morning Walgreen’s!!! CVS Your ACD wait time is as long as the waste of (receipt)paper!

The employees are some of the nicest and best customer service workers Ive encountered. Consistently. They always ask if Im finding everything okay, and they are super polite and courteous. At the cashier, they always take the time to scan all of my coupons and always accept as many as possible, and they always say thank you (not yep or mhhmm.). Idk if anyone cares about this but so many customer service workers just radiate hostility and apathy for their jobs...but not the people who work here. I had to write this review because Ive lived in Elmhurst for 20 yrs and this is my favorite CVS because of the people who work here. I really appreciate their customer service.

Horrible Service. I went to this location for a covid test...received multiple reminders to show up on time for my scheduled appointment. Once I arrived, they have a designated location in lot for covid testing...to stay in car and they will call you when its your turn. I waited for more then 2 hours and received no call. There were others there with elderly and children also waiting in their cars and seemed to be no activity with people going into and out the testing center and no communication. People came, waited, and left.

Had an appointment for the jab and that didnt even matter. Scheduled my day around it and it went an hr past my time. Horrible practice. Vaccine should not take this long to get.

Went to CVS and ask help to transfer a prescription. Amro, the pharmacist on duty, went beyond customer service and helped us get the medication. Very polite, professional and quick! CVS is lucky to have him on their team. Thank you so much, Amro. You’re a blessing to us!

Horrible experience! There is no communication between the pharmacy and the minute clinic and they kept sending me back and fourth to the other to get my scheduled flu shot. I ended up waiting 45 minutes longer than necessary due to neither group paying attention or acknowledging me. I will never come back here if I have a choice. Everyone was so rude to me and was condescending. WORST customer service ever

Horrible experience. Have had many unpleasant and long coversations with pharmacy and never got anything worked out. There is an older women there that is a total time suck. Beware stay away from. Have had ok experiences in the drive thru but inside is really bad. Always seems to be an issue. Lots of wasted time in this place.

Every time I have been to this location I have a bad experience. The pharmacy personnel act like you are bothering them when you try to pick up prescriptions. They lost my film and havent called me back about it.

I have a disabled brother; He has had higher than normal temperature, I a conversation with the doctor she brought-up his oxygen saturation. At 11:00 PM I went to this 24 hour CVS and purchased an Oximeter. It was right behind the cashier across the counter; she reached out and gave me one. I rushed home and tried to get my brothers O2 saturation. Guess what, even though the box indicated batteries included, there were no batteries in the package. Then at midnight I had to go and find batteries. They call themselves Pharmacy but their staffs are so irresponsible that even steel the batteries from the boxes of oximeters.Funny part is that at the same time I that I was buying the Oximeter the cashier had called the Police for a customers shoplifting.I do not understand why we are wearing masks these days when even the Pharmacy is stealing from the customers who are patient or taking care of a patient!!!?

I could never say enough negative things about this experience to really encourage people enough to not waste their money or time going to this clinic. I was there for close to an hour. A large portion of the time was spent updating my medical records. Linda was more interested in updating my medical history and getting my credit card information than she was in finding out what was causing bumps to appear all over my body. $129 later her recommendation was to take Benadryl which I had just bought before the pharmacist and my friend talked me into going to the clinic. 24 hours later I am getting more bumps that are itching and even starting to hurt and I have no idea what is wrong with me. CVS is truly only interested in one thing. MONEY. I would guess that I will be getting inundated with advertising emails because they were also very interested in getting all of the contact information they could possibly get. They did do a follow up call and that person was so rude I could not believe it. She actually said she would hang up if I did not give her my mailing address for verification. Why did she need it. I gave her my name and birth date. How many people could have my name on my birth date who went to this clinic yesterday? They did not care how I was, they cared about getting my mailing address so they can attempt to sell me more of their useless help. I used to shop occasionally at CVS but it is Walgreens all the way for me now. I will NEVER go to CVS again and I suggest you never use their clinic if you want to recover from whatever illness you may have.

I walked into the clinic after checking on line for a 0 minute wait. I drove 25 minutes and there was a 45 minute wait for lunch. Not a huge deal so I put my name down. I waited 45 minutes because its too far to go home and back. The staff was 20 minutes late from their lunch getting back and just said we will start again soon and walked away. It has now been an additional 20 minutes and no one has said anything. Its been an hour and a half to be seen at the minute clinic even though I check before driving here and even registered early like I should. Go to any other minute clinic because they clearly dont care about anyone elses time except their own.

Signed in at 358pm given estimated wait of 36 minutes. Which ended up being accurate. So 436pm patient ahead of me done. So here is my guess the np wouldnt take me because she was done at 5pm and we would run over. And the next shift np wouldnt start seeing patients til 5pm. So here we wait and are going to be late to another appointment. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE customer service

Went to the drive thru around 9:50 pm after a trip to the ER with my toddler...I pushed the call button 4 times and the pharmacist never came to the window, nor did he say anything through the speaker to let me know he’d be right with me...I waited a total of 8 minutes before I had enough. I pulled out of the drive thru and called the store manager and complained. The pharmacy was NOT busy, so I would’ve expected to be helped. This location disappoints me time after time.

The Minuite Clinic always has at least an hour of wait time. They keep the Benadryl behind locked glass, which is stupid. The 24 hr pharmacy is well run and very convienient.

The store is about what you would expect. The pharmacy however appears grossly overburdened with prescriptions and the staff either undertrained or incompetent. Go to another pharmacy or waste a few months before deciding.

This is the worst pharmacy Ive been to. They are very under staffed at night and you wait a ridiculous about of time just for your persciption. They dont even answer the phones when you call. Very unprofessional.

When I came to do Covid test for my little child at a drive thru, the pharmacist give me a supply and told me to do the test at a parking lot, because there is a line behind me with cars and then walk back to the drive thru window to drop the test bag:(. Never again - very disappointed

Oh, a very bloody manager. He never wants to spend more than one coupon so they put offers together if they do not accept more than one coupon.
