Very happy with our daughter’s Elmo cake. How cute is this! Always a good experience at Lezza’s, the staff is super friendly and the pastries are delicious.

I wanted to love this place, but unfortunately it was a big disappointment. Ive ordered a hot latte today, but it came out with no milk foam AT ALL. Guys, do you have any idea how latte should look like? This is not americano with milk, NO!Extra star just for the taste of coffee itself, I like Lavazza as a brand.

Our wedding cake was delicious AND adorable. We went into our tasting with virtually no ideas, but between the woman helping us and their portfolio of previous cakes, we came up with an idea we were happy with. It turned out so well! And it was absolutely delicious. I am really picky about cakes and especially buttercream because it’s just so sweet, but I was very happy with how ours tasted. We went with red velvet and strawberry mousse for the top layer and red velvet and Bavarian cream for the bottom. Both were excellent!We’ve been in a handful of times now and every time both the other customers and the staff have been a joy to be around. You know that feeling you get in a store where everyone is happy and upbeat? I’m sure they have their off days, but to this point it has been that way every time.

Oh my gosh the food is so good there oh, I had a coffee as well which was really excellent. A real gem in Elmhurst

We came for Gelato (delicious) and left with cake sized donuts (also delicious). Great, friendly service with a cozy outdoor front patio in front of the store. Highly recommend.

Embarrassed by the execution of the custom cake I ordered and extremely disappointed by the way I was treated by the store manager Kristina and owner.I was unhappy with the way my cake turned out even after the staff redid the cake. When I told this to Kristina she was extremely rude to me. She sated that there was nothing she could do about how the cake looked, and that the bakery had to finish two wedding cakes before my graduation cake and it just wasnt a priority for them to fix my cake. She was completely unapologetic and had no interest in helping me. She simply told me to just take a cake from their refrigerator. When I mentioned that I would be posting these picture and a review on Yelp she said she would have the owner call me to see what they can do. When the owner called me he yelled that I was trying to ruin his business. Even when I explained that I just wanted them to fix their wrong he basically told me they would not be doing anything to help me.

Quality cakes and desserts. Has quickly become our go to cake place. They do excellent custom cakes for any occasion. Cupcakes are also very good with a nice selection. You can pick up some good coffee and get a tasty cake or cookie for not to much money. Highly recommend.

I had a wedding mid September and Lezza was the bakery our venue goes through for the wedding cake. The tasting went great and we had picked out a purple ombre cake, which was pictured in the book we had looked through at the tasting. The woman even said it would be very easy because they can use the same design from the book. Come our wedding day, and we were told that Lezza had FORGOTTEN to make our WEDDING CAKE! We received no apology or explanation from Lezza. We had to have our venue reach out to them to ask if they would make a cake because of their mistake. They said they were going to use our original document to decorate our cake.... We came to pick up our cake and it was the WRONG COLOR! We told the girl serving us it was the wrong color, and all she did was look at us and hand us the cake. We still have received no apology from anyone in management for them not making our wedding cake. I would NEVER recommend using this bakery for any occasion. They truly do not care about their customers.

Lezza was included with our vendor so we just went with this company. The first meeting with them went really well or so we thought. There was mix ups between our vendor and their wedding coordinator at the time. Long story short we had to go back and basically re-deisgn our entire cake due to the mix up. Im not that big on eating cake anyways so it wasnt a huge deal to me however I did say I wanted it to look good. Over all the cake tasted good and they did a nice job on the design. I understand designing on a piece of paper is one thing and may not turn out exactly on the actual cake. However our top tier of the cake was in my opinion the MOST important as it was strictly towards our theme (bride and groom), and you couldnt even tell what it was and wasnt anything like we provided to them. There was also other design features that we had designed on paper that werent even done on the cake. So that was extremely disappointing. I understand there was miscommunication between vendors but the wedding couple should have been notified of changes if something was to be changed. I thought it tasted great and the design concept was awesome just some things were disappointing on how they turned out.

The staff is amazing. We had a few outstanding desserts and coffee/expresso. Their outside umbrella table area is so relaxing. It is hard to find a place like this open on Sundays.. You have to try this place!

This was the second time that I ordered birthday cake for my daughter.It was peppa pig themed cake(whip cream with raspberry filling). The lady who took the order promised a lot of stuff..she said she will do some grass, sun, flowers and some music notes, etc. But she later just did some flowers and music notes..We specifically said that we want a colorful cake but we got a very plain looking white cake. Moreover, the cream was overly sweet and the cake was a little dry..I hoped that service would be as good as last time but we got really disappointed this time..

Our family loves this place, we get their coffee cakes for events and stop by for Gelato all summer long.

Attempted to place a phone order. I waited on the line for five minutes before someone finally came on to take my order. Called mid-day. Could not understand the difference between a raspberry cheese coffee cake and a cheesecake. I wanted the former. She actually got argumentative with me. I then attempted to order several more items, when she then suggested I just come in Saturday morning to pick stuff out. The point of ordering is so that your items are there when you want them to be. I finished ordering and she said she would have to call me back so that I could pay. She could not take payment at that point. I then decided to go elsewhere as I was leaving for a meeting. She could’ve cared less. I have enjoyed them many times over the years, but will not go back.

Such an amazing bakery. My family loves having a treat in the back, looking at all the family pictures on the wall. We recently ordered a birthday cake for my son that was delicious and perfectly decorated. Thanks!

The 4 tiered cake for our parents 60th wedding anniversary was the best cake I have ever had. Everyone raved about how beautiful it looked (replicated our parent wedding cake from a photo). The cake was a yellow and chocolate marble with a fudge filling and white icing. Absolutely perfect!!!

This will likely be my first and only visit since I live in the NW suburbs and dont visit Elmhurst often. The street was under construction at the end of August and quite a mess, so I parked on a side street. This bakery has an enormous room in the back that can accommodate large parties and I loved the display of old photos and Mona Lisa - really cool. Its a very warm and inviting interior. The pastries looked excellent and were reasonably priced, so I bought a strawberry shortcake donut hole and one huge peanut butter cookie.The donut hole was delicious but the cookie was mediocre. The biggest issue I had was that the woman who checked me out was completely clueless - it took her 10 minutes to ring up those two items and she had to get assistance from someone else. She said she was a new employee, so I certainly hope shes gotten the hang of it by now.

Great staff, great desserts! I have been going here since they were back in the Berkeley area. They are very friendly and the cannolis are nut free so you can eat them if you have a nut allergy. Good stuff!

I bought some Italian cookies to bring to my brother whom I was visiting for his birthday . Much to my disappointment and embarrassment the cookies were awful !! They were very soft and had the consistency of a very soft cake . The biscotti were so so soft and they are supposed to be crisp and almost hard.!!!We threw them out !!!The next day I called and spoke to Connie and told her what happened. She was very sorry and apologetic and tasked my name and address and said she was going to send me something that was more than what I had bought.well that was January 16 and today is February 9 and so far nothing has come in the mail !!Lezza Bakery wont see me or anyone I know again !!!

Love buying my cakes there they give you what you ask for you give them a picture they can make it. Ive been coming here for over 18yrs they just getting better in what they do best.

Im sorry but I am spreading the word...PLEASE DO NOT EVEN THINK ABOUT USING LEEZAS BAKERY FOR ANT EVENT OR EVEN TRY FOR JUST COOKIES. I am flabbergasted with the treatment I received just in the last week. I am planning a baby shower for my first grandchild and wanted a specialty cake baked. I called and set up an appointment with KRISTINA WITH A K.So like any place I have been to you get full attention especially since she was charging me 300.00 for a special cake for 40 people, with attitude to start and interruption every few minutes to help other customers. After almost 2 hrs of many interruptions and ATTITUDE. I figured go with them. Then a couple of days later making another appointment to bring swatches for colors for my cake I waited over an hour. I left and an hour passed and did not hear from KRISTINA WITH A K. I told the girl behind the counter I was upset because I had an appointment with her and please let KRISTINA WITH A K know I was unhappy. Never received a call back I decided to call her and ask if she forgot about me. She said she had a meeting with the owners and was never told I was there and so she says what do you want to do now. Like my hour was nothing to her. I figured I can forgive and give her a second chance even tho there was again Attitude. Half hour goes by and she calls me and tells me that my order is too ornate for her she recommended I go to another bakery and prior to that she took a 100.00 deposit which I will get back but Im flabbergasted at the ATTITUDE AND SERVICE THAT THEY PROVIDED AND I WANT EVERYONE TOI KNOW BEWARE of KRISTINA WITH A K KRISTINA WITH AN ATTITUDE.NOT ASHAMED TO LEAVE MY NAMEMARY THERESE MUNARETTOPS only gave a 1 star rating because I couldnt post without something...

The cake was provided through our contract with Brookfield Zoo, and they use Lezza as their wedding cake vendor. We were originally under the impression that we would have about 9 cake styles to choose from. When we went for our tasting we were told we could basically design our own cake as long as it went with the standard structure. We chose from dozens of cake and filling options, and our guests loved the variety. The cake was delicious...exceptional quality. They even worked with us on our Gluten Free guests, so nobody was left out. Unbelievable quality and service.

Lezza has been my go to bakery for more years than I can count, Ive never been disappointed. They are the only place that I know that makes 5 flavor spumoni

Lezzas did our wedding and grooms cake for our reception at Brookfield Zoo. The cakes were amazing! They worked with us to get exactly the look we wanted. They even provided a small cake for our one year anniversary so we didnt have to freeze any for a year. We were so impressed that we ordered our daughters baptism cake from theme. And, yes, the cannolis are amazing!

Lezza has THE best spumoni and cannoli in the Midwest (and possibly North America). I have tasted quite a lot (probably more than my fair share) of different Italian bakeries, and Lezza has the best. I especially like going there durning Easter time. Lezza also has these really cool Italian cookies of all different varieties. And I have to say, their cannolis are to die for. They also have some really nice looking wedding cakes on display, but Im not so much into that (I dont like to share). Did I mention they had great cannolis?

Let me start out by saying, I am not a member of the Lezza family, I am not an employee. I am just a gentleman that not only has used this AMAZING AMAZING cake and cannoli establishment for my wedding, but now my sister in laws wedding, other coworkers events, desserts for any and all parties, etc. etc. and I have to post to the world that their product is not only unparalleled but they have a gentleman there by the name of Tim that is the epitome of how business and customer service should be conducted.I write that not so people can abuse his generosity, but to highlight the level of professionalism and the way he treats every customer as if they literally apart of his immediate family. If Tim were to ever not be employed any longer with Lezza, then it would be a real tough decision to return.But the more I think about it, I probably would still return because their product is THAT good. Sorry Tim if youre reading this, but its the truth. :)Either way, the combination of Tim and the Lezza Spumoni product is something that every single person that lives or visits the greater Chicagoland area HAS TO EXPERIENCE at some point in their lives.
