I cannot say enough about this Firestone dealership!!We drove up to Elmhurst from St. Louis and upon arriving and turning the car off… were greeted with the Low Tire Alert! I checked each tire but was unable to really tell WHICH tire was low! Not knowing the town I decided to call the local Firestone dealer as that’s the brand tires that I have on my car and they suggested that I bring it in and leave it with them as they were already booked solid from the “regular” customers!We dropped it off around 8:30 and true to their word… they checked all four tires, brought the pressure up to the recommended level, and…. reset the car’s alert system… all before 1:30!! Top it off with restaurant suggestions, a complimentary map of the city, two very professional and personable owners and sponsoring such a wonderful cause as therapeutic horsemanship and that’s five stars in my book!!I/We can now drive back to St. Louis with the confidence that we are safe and secure thanks to the Elmhurst Firestone!!!

Ive worked with, worked for, and been a patron of many shops in the area and these guys are pretty high up there as far as honesty, fair prices, and fast service is concerned.

Helpful, no frills service. No one tried to upsell me on any services I didnt need. I was in and out quickly. I will be back the next time I need new tires.

We were up for a visit to Elmhurst University and unfortunately had a flat tire on the way to town. Not wanting to drive back on the donut we stopped in to see if they had time to fix our tire. With no hesitation they fit us right in and we were back on the road to home in 30 minutes. Would highly recommend their services!

Walked in for a scheduled oil change and immediately stopped in the doorway after seeing two employees working without masks, no plexiglass shields nothing. When I asked if they were masking the man at the desk just said no. So, I went down the street to jiffy lube where everyone was appropriately masked and distanced. When I called to give this feedback and ask to speak to the manager, he originally told me the manager was not in and could he take a message. After explaining the situation, he then identified himself as the owner and said that he did not require masks. I expressed that I would be sharing my feedback with the corporate offices, he sarcastically thanked me and then hung up on me. My family has been customers for years, and we will no longer visit this location.

Had a blowout on 294. Drove right to Firestone. Mike had new tires on order within 1/2 hour. They had to be shipped in. They gave me a ride to work. Car was done a few hours later. Second visit to this facility, both GREAT experiences. Also got a tire rebate from Firestone!

Not one employee was wearing a mask inside at the front desk when I went to get my car serviced. As a paying customer, I found this enormously inconsiderate. More importantly, their lack of masks made me feel VERY UNSAFE.Living with someone who is immunocompromised and having a general sense of respect for the health of all people, there is no way I can continue to support Firestone elmhurst again.

Ive driven by this place almost every single day for the past few years and just assumed they only did tires. Wrong. Theyre full service.I dealt with Mike and he was great. He didnt try to oversell me and did not pressure me into doing anything that I didnt need.Great place!

Had a flat and multiple tires with very low pressure. All the air pumps at various gas stations were not working due to the cold. I stopped here but all the tech hands and mechanics not already on a project were at lunch. The owner or manager helped me out and got me back to work in no time. I highly recommend this shop to everyone; Very professional and courteous.

The guys at the counter are great. However, this particular Firestone is absurdly over priced.I got a single windshield wiper arm replaced with new blades. It cost me $250. I was floored. Ive been ripped before but this is the Tom Brady of rip offs. This project should have been no more than $150. The labor for this was far more expensive than when I got a tire replacement, air filter change and oil change.

I took my car to the Elmhurst Firestone. Mike was very nice. We waited for my car. Mechanic also had to rotate my tires for an extra charge I was told. When all was done it cost me less than the original quote without the tire rotation, and the car is running very nicely. No pulling to the right. Very happy customer :-)

Brought in a car I was considering buying. They gave an honest inspection and were very nice. I bought the car and 3 months later havent had a single repair.

This is not a Firestone Complete Auto Care shop. I was disappointed overall. I brought in a used car for an inspection, and was not told the price before - it cost $50 which was an overcharge. Shop seems unorganized and inefficient; didnt feel confident a good job was done. I would go elsewhere.

My father is a mechanic, and I have known many, but none as sleezy as the ones from this place. Unfortunately my car broke down near here which is an hour from my home and an hour plus from my dads/any other trusted mechanics shop. My car overheated because of the belt tensioner snapping. I got my car to make it to this place and expected them to quote me on the higher end of the average cost but figured it couldnt be too bad. I was wrong. The AVERAGE cost for this repair is between $111 and $209. At the dealership it can run an upwards of $329 on the high end. When I asked the price they expected me to pay $520 for 2 hours labor and cheap parts (my mom works for a parts store. The parts are under $100) They thought they could take advantage of me because Im a girl and they knew I was far from home and had no other option at the time. I would NOT recommend this greedy business to ANYBODY.

These guys are great!! I ran into the shop in a bind because a different shop messed up my tires and I needed them rotated asap. They couldnt do it while i wanted but they gave me a ride to York high school in Elmhurst where i work and said I could pick up the vehicle later. Worked very well!

I stoped in on my lunch break because my tire light was on. They were busy and still made time to check all of my tires and put air in ect. Very good customer service. I will return here for other auto needs!

Got me what I needed quickly and efficiently

Please be aware the this is NOT a Firestone. They are an independent store that is allowed to use Firestones name because they sell their tires.I received extremely poor service from here from beginning to end of my interactions with them. Because they are an independent location, their hours make it difficult to get a hold of anyone over the phone. They also told me during my initial repair that they would diagnose the clutch system that they were working on. About two weeks later my shifter cable (a cable they had to take off and re-attach while working on the clutch) broke while I was driving and changing gears on a Chicago city street.Here is what followed:First, actual Firestone stores refused to help with the repair because this one was independent and the warranty/guarantee would not be honored.Second, Firestone/Bridgestone regional managers supported this arrangement (where a small store can masquerade as an actual Firestone)Finally, Elmhurst Firestone refused to take responsibility for failing to diagnose the breaking cable, even though they physically handled it during my initial repair.I have had years of positive experienced with Firestone and had taken my car here based on those experiences. Unfortunately, because of this sham of a repair shop and Firestone/Bridgestone Retail Operation LLCs allowing this type of arrangement, I will be avoiding ALL Firestones from this point on.UPDATE: The clutch kit that I had replaced here wore out after 20,000 miles and had to be replaced within 2 years. The one I had previously lasted me 130,000 miles/7 years and it has always been the same drivers in the car.When I took my car to the dealer to replace the clutch kit I got here they were shocked when I told them that it was only 20,000 miles old.Ill let the obvious conclusion be reached by the Google community.

This is an independent Firestone and wouldnt fix my tire that was under warranty how much does it really cost to patch up a tire? Worst customer service ever

My mini van blew out a tire on the way to Destin, FL for Spring Break. My kids were worried that we would not be able to get back on the road until Monday. Elmhurst Firestone opened at 8am Saturday and had my tire fixed and on my way by 8:32am Saturday morning. Elmhurst Firestone saved our Spring Break 2014!
