Fantastic place if you are in mood for street tacos. The owners/ staff is very friendly and cheerful. The beef tacos I got here was very good -- way better than Mission tacos and places like that around St. Louis.

I went here for the first time looking for Mexican chocolate. I went shortly after eating lunch, but upon entering the store, the smell of cooked food was so enticing, I decided I had to order something. I ordered a pork taco. It was excellent. Very fresh, good blend of tastes. The woman/owner was delightful; very friendly and helpful, as was her husband when I called him the previous day.

I try and come here every Tuesday when I work in the area and they are never open even tho the door says they open at 1030am they arent.

I am telling you these are the BEST corn and flour tortillas I have ever purchased from a market. The corn tortillas are made right on premise with imported corn flower from Mexico. All natural, with no preservatives and perfect for the gluten free diet. They taste so much better from other corn tortillas I have purchased in grocery stores that you question if the others are in the same food group. The flour tortillas are so fresh, rich and decadent that you will never want to buy store brand. The owners and staff are extremely helpful and friendly that have given me tips on prep for the tortillas and other recipes I have tried. Grab some tacos freshly made when you are in there as well. As my friends from Southwestern US and with Mexican lineage have said to me, they are the best in this area. I couldnt agree more.

I went for the first time on 14 Oct...have been back 3 times now in 7 days. The flautas and street tacos for lunch are just wonderful. The carne asada flauta with some of the spicy sauce on the side with a bottle of the Mexican Coca-Cola...best lunch going. Price of a flauta is about$3 and I put down 4 pretty easy, so cost isnt exactly cheap. But the quality and taste of all their tortilla based items are truly special. Not a sit down place at all either, so you are taking your order to go or eating outside the store if it is a decently nice day (which Ive done twice in myb4 visits so far).

Best kept secret for Tacos. Owner is extremely friendly and the food is awesome. Fresh made tortillas make this the perfect taco. We took home a dozen homemade tamales which were also delicious. Ill be back several times per week from now on!

Stopped by to check out this place. Nice selection of Mexican groceries including salsas and hot sauces. The specialty is the corn tortillas made fresh each day. I bought them fresh and warm and they did not disappoint. Best kind of tortilla for grilled meat, fish, chicken... or just plain served with beans. Next time I stop by, I am trying out some of their homemade fresh tamales.Give this local place a try!

A coworker and I stopped by here for lunch today not realizing they have yet to set up to serve lunch. The owner said they plan to add that this spring. However, she did have tamales for sale (one dozen for $18!) and they were by far the BEST Ive ever had. I bought a dozen and shared with everyone back at work. We will be going back. I picked up a few items besides that and the prices were excellent. She even threw in a free stack of tortillas while we were leaving. I want to see this place succeed. The owner is a really nice lady and probably the worlds best tamale-maker! It is worth the trip if you are in the area.

OMG!!! The Barbacoa tacos were awesome!! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. I had called yesterday to see if they sold Salsa Ranchera sauce and the nice lady I spoke with grabbed the last 2 cans off the shelf for me to make sure they didnt run out. How awesome is that!!! I cant wait for Wednesday because thats when they make Tamales. I havent had a good Tamale since before last Christmas at Mac and Cynthias party. Ill update after when Ive had them.

The owner was super friendly and helpful. They have a full size tortilla machine and make hot off the press Fresh Tortillas. The tamales are excellent lots of beef filling very little Masa the flavor spot on. We will be going back.

UPDATE 21AUG19; no longer as good. The good; kitchen has more options. The bad, portion size of meat in tacos has decreased substantially. Customer service still great. I know downgrade from 5 stars to 3 is a bit harsh, but if your a taco shop IN ST LOUIS, you gotta have GOOD tacos, not just tacos that are ok. Compare these tacos to the ones at El Morelia on the weekends and the difference is MASSIVE.KITCHEN NOW OPEN, EAT THESE TACOS! Absolute best customer service Ive had in a long time. The store is very clean, the bistro tables are super convenient for a quick bite, and you can even knock out some shopping while you are there. Small but mighty little store. I spread the word to the INFINITI staff while they serviced my vehicle.
