Had everything I needed. Will be back for more supplies. The whole shop community was very respectful. Lots of smiles..... I enjoyed my visit to Old Ellicott City.
Amazing energy in this store. And amazing high quality jewelry. The owners are very nice and helpful. I has an amazing experience here. I recommend this place to all of my friends. I come every time I’’m in the area. Try the dark chocolate covered pretzels, they are my favorite.
Very nice selection of beautiful jewelry, incense, crystals, and more! The owner was also very nice and informative. The fudge is delicious!
You are not supporting a Native American owned jewelry shop. The owners are not native and are very rude. The male owner caught an attitude with me because I started asking questions about the authenticity of the store and it’s products. He kept repeating to me, Ive been doing this for 32 years. My whole group noticed and heard his condescending tone, but they choose to ignore it because they wanted to shop. They sell beautiful native products by native people. However as a customer I have the right to ask questions about the products I am paying for. I dont know much about stones. The female owner was extremely disrespectful and has a short temper. The moment I walked into the store, she had bad energy and had an attitude as well when I was asking about her jewelry.Instead of informing me of the refund policy, she assumed I was aware of it thus she started to yell at me as she did my return. She yelled, Im not playing this game with you... I was confused because I was not trying to scam her. I bought 5 items and only wanted to return one. I didnt even leave the store before trying to do my return. I was asked if I wanted to continue my purchase. I was at no point verbally informed about their return policy. As someone who works in the retail industry, I always ensure that I remind my customers the meaning of final sale even when we have clear indications of final sale items. If the female owner had told me respectfully of their no refund policy, I would have walked away. I asked calmly. I also asked once about getting a refund, but she (the female owner) reacted with hostility. She was giving me my refund however, she was humiliating me as she was doing it. She was yelling and everyone in the store watched in disbelief. She did not lower her voice, until I asked her if she could just finish my transaction. The owners created a negative atmosphere through their irritable attitudes. They had no problem with their rude tones and attitudes with me nor did they have problem with the female owner yelling at me in front of their other customers. They thought our group was disrespectful, but they gave as subpar customer service. You cant expect people to be clam with you when you find subtle ways to disrespect them. This shop has been open for so long. Its sad to see that instead of finding a way to mediate an escalating situation with a customer, they decided to be unprofessional and further heighten tension. She also FOLLOWED my group into the next store. My entire group felt uncomfortable and unsafe by this behavior.Maybe the owners were having a bad day and thats why they had little patience with their customers. Hopefully they can learn from this situation to better improve their customer service.
We have been purchasing their Christmas Gift Packages for the past few years. They are amazing and all of our clients rave about them!! The owners are incredibly nice and accommodating!

Ive been shopping at Ellicott City for over 10 years and I must say Southwest Connection is the primary reason why I keep coming back. Ive purchased many items at the store throughout the years, from their home made fudge candies, to hand crafted jewelry, and of course, one of a kind statement pieces! The shop owner Lori has an amazing eye to hand select beautiful jewelry pieces. Recently, Steve had repaired some of my older jewelry pieces that Ive owned for many years but hadnt been able to wear them for a while because of missing stones. Repairs were done very quickly at the shop and I couldnt have been happier with the results! I truly enjoy shopping at Southwest Connection, very friendly and knowledgeable shop owners, I would highly recommend this shop.
I found this hidden gem while holiday shopping along main street a few years back. Ever since then Ive shopped here for most of my holiday presents from unique jewelry to delicious fudge gift baskets. Very recently I purchased this beautiful green turquoise ring, they have a wide variety of statement pieces. Love shopping here!
Well me my mother and wife came down to your store for the first time and really liked a lot of the jewelry and crafts. I love my ring and blanket. I loved the costumer service. I definitely will be back to buy more. Maybe I’ll try the fudge when I come back. ✋🏽
Beautiful store, really nice helpful owners.
Honestly ripped-off products labeled as “American Indian”. Their products are just plain rude to Native Americans and the owners themselves are most likely not even half Native. Their funds don’t go towards supporting causes that help indigenous people or Native American relief organizations. They are just selling trendy looking, fake products, as an aesthetic.
Always come here for gifts for my wife. They have a great selection and always enjoy looking through the store.
I am a regular! Great fudge and beautiful jewelry at amazing prices.
Love this shop! amazing jewelry, beautiful native american decor, sage, incense..you name it! always a fun stop
