I have been coming to this pharmacy for the past five years and had been perfectly happy with them until the last two. We fill a not insignificant number of prescriptions here and in the last two years, there has been a SHARP decline in quality of service. Given the current world situation, I dont mind longer wait times in line, I dont mind that it takes longer to fill my prescriptions. What I DO mind is that my scripts are sent to the pharmacy and go missing for days at a time and I have to go on a search mission to figure out what happened to them. What I DO mind is that I do not get notified that my prescriptions are ready, that they are put back on the shelf prematurely, and that I am blamed for not picking them up quickly enough. I DO mind that these types of mistakes are happening now with every prescription that I fill and that their mismanagement is starting to cause actual health issues.The store itself is great; I like the Minute Clinic whenever Ive needed to use it. Avoid the pharmacy at all costs.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE -- extremely long wait timeMore than once, had to wait 40+ minutes for my prescription drug, which was ordered 6+ hours before I got to the store.They seem to receive the orders IN-PERSON ONLY. Doesnt matter whether your doctor calls or not. You have to walk in and order the med yourself.

I was using them for long time recently I’m not sure if there is a management change the customer service is horrible. It took 3 days to get my prescription after it is approved by the insurance. I don’t believe they care about the well-being of their customers. They put me on hold for over 10 min and they picked up & hanged up on me . I’m very disappointed I’m definitely changing my pharmacy

This CVS location is horrible I’m always having a customer service issue with the pharmacy the 1st issue I had which I recorded was of a pharmacist pretty much telling me she was to busy to help fill my child’s medication now my child need a COVID test do to exposure at his school which I scheduled at 1030am I get a call from the pharmacy at 1030 telling me they are going to cancel his appointment at 1035 lady I’m right down the street! I told her to cancel it I’ve had this test preformed at several locations in Howard county this CVS is the only one I have issues with y’all need to improve the customer service and I’m calling corporate!

Just wanted to personally thank the employee or employees that took care of the prints I ordered through the website and picked up at the Centennial Lane location in Ellicott City MD. I was super impressed with the whole transaction from website ease of use to the friendly help when reciving my prints that were mind blowing and perfectly taken care of! Surprised by the other reviews but I’ve had an excellent experience at this CVS. COVID test was surprisingly easy and when I got my flu shot a few months ago was very simple. They only down side to this place is it is busy a lot. Think that’s because people really like this store.

If I could rate zero I would I made an appointment online to get my vaccine and when I showed up they told me that they tried to call me which one was a lie because they never dead and that too they don’t do vaccines at that time and there was a glitch in the system which wasn’t my fault so I’m not sure why they couldn’t just give me the vaccine since I had an appointment and was there no one told me anything it was really inconvenient to wake up at 6 o’clock in the morning on a Saturday because of a glitch in their system the pharmacy was extremely rude and I don’t recommend anyone going back there obviously if you’re unhappy about working then don’t get a job

Recently we visited this location and, although there was an electronic glitch that mistakenly crowded the flu shot schedule, the problem was handled deftly by the Pharmacy/ Clinic staff. Mention should be made of the concierge, Emily, for her kindness with everyone effected - notably her compassion toward a patient who had just lost a spouse and was grieving. We observed Emily comforting this person amidst all the other activity going on and it was nothing short of inspiring.We patronize this location quite often, and have always received respect and courtesy and care from Pharmacy and Store personnel.Thanks!

Trying to get through to the pharmacy via phone call is totally dreadful. You will literally sit on hold for 30-45 minutes waiting and it wasn’t just one time. My most recent experience, I ended up contacting the Eldersburg location and was only on hold for 4 minutes. Not sure why one is so much more efficient then the other. They’re all CVS’s.The very next day!!!!! I go to pick up one of my two prescriptions, I arrive to the window to be told that I was out of refills. It’s interesting because the pharmacy is supposed to inform you of that right from the beginning. Done it millions of times! I’m not sure what happened to this location, but it customer service has severely declined. Very disappointing!

DO NOT GET A FLU SHOT HERE. Safety precautions not followed.Expect a 30+ min wait after your scheduled appointment. They will give you a pen and clipboard without disinfecting between uses. You will wait in line intermingled with other pharmacy customers.

I am a frequent customer of this CVS, and have had some good experiences. However, today I waited in line for my prescriptions and 2 were not processed correctly through insurance. I waited for the pharmacist to talk to me about what the problem was, and it was not resolved with 1. The second just needed to be processed again. At this point, I had been waiting about 30 minutes. She told me to wait again for the 1 prescription, and I did. I waited another 15 minutes and ended up walking out without it. All of these were prescriptions that were ready for pickup. 45 minutes is too long to wait, and have to walk away without some of my meds. I think there is just more need for staff, but something needs to change.

I always get great and speedy service at the pharmacy here! They take care of any and all issues with insurance and secondary insurance and anything else wrong. They make my life so easy with speedy pick up and always filling my prescriptions so freaking fast! For someone who has lots of prescriptions all the time, they make my life easy.

Ok service, 98% of the time you have to wait more than 30 mins for a RX. Honestly the pharmacy here is absolutely overwhelmed all the time. I wish they would open another CVS near so that they can split the customers. The store is usually nice but again always a wait to check out.

Terrible COVID testing appointments. After waiting in the parking lot for about 40 minutes, multiple calls to their pharmacy and front desk, i was told my appointment was canceled and they would not be able to test me today (waited over 2 days for the appointment).Find somewhere else to go. this place is a nightmare.

I usually am customer at CVS down in Ellicott City, just wanted to say Nagham, the beauty consultant who works there is absolutely the sweetest and helpful when needed help. She gave me amazing tips on how to look great for my date night and may I just say the makeup she recommended me was fabulous. I will also be coming in for skincare soon:)

I went this location for the immunization shots. Ms. Nicole white was the best at the mini clinic. She was so nice and explained everything that I need to know. Also she did all paper work done without losing the smile. It was a happy experience with her.

We tried to go to CVS and get flu shots and after we registered the woman told us to wait in the car and she would call us right back. We waited about half an hour until we went back inside to ask her if she was done yet. But she said to go back to the car and keep waiting. We ended up waiting until 6:10 until we just decided to just leave. Currently it’s the next morning at 10:00, and still no call or text.

Bad rude customer service. I ordered holiday post cards on CVS website. 2 weeks later, I received an automatic phone call to pick my order up. The person at the photo center told me she did not have my order. I explained I got a phone call to pick up my order. She started being very impatient with me and told me to call their 1-800 number. I ended up cancelling that order because I got so fed up with it. The customer service people I talked over the phone gave a refund less than I paid online. Her explanation is the tax I paid for the order is not refundable. I just feel so done with CVS. Never heard of tax paid for purchase was not supposed to be refund. Oh, well. I will never purchase another thing from CVS ever again.

I have been using this location for 3 years now. Very friendly people on the regular store side. However the pharmacy is a complete let down. Every single time I call I am put on hold for long periods of time. Moments ago a gentleman was helping me with a very simple question then left me on hold for 19 minutes. I had to call again and another lady helped me with the same problem in 2 minutes. I asked who was helping me before and she said I dont know I just got here. This is very unprofessional and Im taking it up the corporate ranks. If you have choices dont use this place. They clearly do not care about customers because the last year and a half have been mistake after mistake and excuse after excuse.

Pharmacy staff is rude pretty consistently and sometimes flat out incompetent. Ive had a pharmacist hand back a prescription saying they didnt have it and they didnt even look at it. If they had they might have realized it was for the generic and it was in stock. Just now we went through the drive through and the lady said we were good to go, but when I asked for my insurance card back she said she said she didnt see it come through. Then she found it and sent it back, but didnt enter it in the computer.

Absolutely the worst pharmacy. The pharmacist supposedly processed my prescription and I was told my insurance denied it because my birth date did not match. After being charged full price for my prescription I called my Insurance to complain (CVS/Caremark is my ins.) and was told the pharmacist processed it improperly. I call CVS for a refund only to be told that their system shows a zero copay and that I wasnt charged. After some time they realize they did charge my credit card but refused to refund it over the phone demanding that I waste my time and gas to come back to the store to be refunded the money they charged me in their error. According to my credit card company they have this issue with CVS on a regular basis. I will be disputing it with my credit card company instead. Oh and the CVS rep was taken back when I asked who would pay for my time and gas to come back to their store considering it was their error. Shocker that he told me they cant do that.

There is a woman at the pharmacy drive thru area that is extremely rude and unprofessional. I just wish she would treat the customers with some decency because I leave the pharmacy feeling terrible every time I go. If you can’t treat customers with respect please don’t work in customer service. I always say please and thank you and am nice to her but she is so mean and nasty! I left in tears today!

Pharmacy staff is rude and unprofessional, treating customers as annoyances rather than being helpful and accommodating. Specifically, those in the drop off and consultation area. I am a medical professional and was treated like an idiot by the pharmacist on one ocassion when my call in renewal was not ready AFTER the appointed time and was told by the pharmacist that the phone renewal service doesn’t work. Great feature. Walgreens pharmacists are much more helpful and no ridiculous long lines for pickup. Wish they were part of my insurance.

It took 2 hours to get a basic prescription filled. They messed up on information with my insurance. Made me wait in line 4 times. One staff member was doing his best to help me. I felt that some of the staff was extremely rude. They need to manage things a little bit better. I finally got my prescription but I was really disappointed in the service.

Just called the pharmacy about a serious concern about a side effect of a medication I was experiencing. Response from pharmacist: that is not a side effect in clinical pharmocogy our reference. I said I looked online and there are many references to it being a side effect including the FDA website.Her response was we dont use internet here.

This is the single worst pharmacy Ive dealt with in my entire life. I have been calling for three days in a row to check on an uncommon medication, very difficult to find, and nobody has had the decency to pick up the phone. I have been waiting in the phone for up to half hour, three times a day for three days. I finally called the main number, explained to the situation to the person at the registrer and she said let me see if they pick it up when they see the call is coming from me. Of course they didnt. They seem to think customers need them so much that such a level of disregard and lack of professionalism is a small price for their mediocre service. Wrong. WE customers pay their salaries, not the other way around.

2 part review!!Store part: the store is great they always have everything you need and epically seasonal items are always stocked and have great selection. The store is clean and i love just walking around getting what i need and i always come across something that i may have needed but forgot or i get something for my kids. LOve shopping here. Also my kidd love shopping here as well .2nd part:The pharmacy!! The pharmacy is good because its open 24/7 for emergencies!! But they take over a hour to fill a perscription!! The people in the pharmacy seem to just be there. They are not that friendly and they dont go out of their way to help you. I just feel pharmacist are supossed to be friendly and make you wanna feel comfortable asking them questions

I just went here to get my flu shot (did NOT happen). I went here at 4pm and signed in; there was an hour wait time, so I ran some errands. I get there at 5pm....STILL AN HOUR WAIT TIME....by 6pm I see the minuteclinic doctor come out and take patients who were below me on the list FIRST. My wait time goes up to another HOUR. I tell the pharmacy that Ive been there since 4pm and I cant wait anymore, please take my name off of the list....their response? Oh, dont worry, theyll just skip over you and move on. NO APOLOGY NOTHING. NEVER GOING BACK HERE AGAIN. Not all CVS stores are like this....but this one is TERRIBLE.

Had an unfortunate experience on Christmas of 2017. My son, wife and myself were all having issues, with ear infections and I desperately needed a dentist but no dentists work on Christmas day.CVS confused my sons name with someone elses and had to refill it. I always had issues with this pharmacy. The pharmacist takes your call, asks for details and there is never any revert. Even when I ordered the pickup of my order, it took them more than 2 days to figure out what needs to be done. I changed my pharmacy to other one nearby and got my medicines today.
