Its always a pleasant surprise to find a cafe offering vegan plant based options. Even better when its done well with friendly staff. Food options for everyone here.

Great selection on coffee drink menu. Beautiful patio with lots of outdoor door seating. Lots of close free parking in a safe parking lot. Family friendly and dog friendly. Tranquil water fountain and so many lovely plants. A worthy addition to your places to go and linger.

I really want to like this place. The outdoor area is very cute and I appreciate the many live music events they have throughout the week. They have a pretty big menu of sandwiches and snacks, but the coffee/espresso drinks are not good! The first time I tried an espresso drink from here was a few years ago, before the Gordon Ramsay makeover, and it was like drinking burnt sugar water. Gave them another chance this past weekend hoping things had dramatically improved. There was a lot of people there so the coffee must be good... right? Wrong. I ordered a cappuccino and my partner a hot coffee with mocha. The espresso in my drink was horribly bitter and the coffee was simultaneously watery and sickeningly sweet. So disappointing. Well be back for the BYOB live music events, but wont be ordering any more coffee/espresso from here.

Quaint and inviting patio, grassy area with tables and seating. Food is delicious, service is friendly, everything g is very relaxing and low key. Beautiful stage for listening to local musicians and bands!

This is a “must visit” if you happen to visit Ellicott City. Excellent food option and a beautiful and serene ambience. The sandwiches and pizza in the menu are equally awesome. Even the breakfast waffle was amazing!

I enjoyed the CC’s Favorite sandwich and a pumpkin muffin. There were lots of folks dining outside and the kitchen was backed up, but I enjoyed the muffin that was heated up for me by a friendly server. The staff here is young and hip - and sorry if this tilts my perceptions - but makes me feel like the food will be of a higher standard. I loved the zesty flavors of the sandwich with vinegary flavors of the cured meats and sauce. Delicious.

Best sandwich that I ever had ( peach butter jam was outstanding on sourdough bread with turkey and bacon). Super busy on a Saturday with live music. Blueberry muffin was disappointing but will be back for the sandwiches! Mini filled donuts were very good...given to us as they postponed fire pit. Very generous!

This place is just awesome. If the weather is nice it is the perfect outdoor spot. I do think it is a well kept secret though, since I only recently heard of it. They have nice music and your entire family can enjoy. The outdoor furniture is beautiful and the location is for any nature lover. I was there with a bunch of friends and we had a wonderful time. People were friendly and the food was good. The cauliflower pizza is a must try.

Parking for the Little Market Café is a nightmare on the weekends because the parking lot is almost always completely full since its one of three parking lots for the entirety of Old Ellicott Main Street. They have live music on the weekends which adds to the atmosphere and is a pro and a con at times. You walk up to window to order where they use a speaker to talk to you even when music isnt playing and it hurts my ears. Then they can barely hear you so you have to shout while they blast your eardrums asking you to repeat yourself. I feel like the mic should be on both ends especially during the performances they have where its a constant battle of hearing each other. They have a large variety of items on their menu and plenty of vegan options. I dislike how they call your name when your order is ready because you cant hear them if there is a performance or a lot of people talking. I think they should use a speaker for the order pickup. The food itself is very basic and tastes okay but really youre just paying for the atmosphere if you go here to eat. Its outdoor seating only so if its raining or freezing out I would go elsewhere. I would recommend it if you like bland sandwiches and live outdoor performances when the weather is favorable.

Great vegan options. Lots of open outdoor seating, but be mindful of the bees.The bees want to be your friends and have no problem sitting on your hand while they smell your sandwich!

This is the best darn sandwich shop in Old Ellicott City. Ive lived in the area for 8 year but recently found this place over the summer when I started working in Old EC. They make custom sandwiches, have fresh lemonades, coffee and more. I highly recommend. Enjoy!!

We went on a Sunday afternoon during lunch. The food was good, unfortunately it took an hour to get our order. Outdoor venue was nice and there was a lot of open seating. Would recommend for a weekday, but not during the weekend during peak time.

Loved the Little Market Cafe and got a pizza based on another patrons suggestion. Pretty good! Ill be back to try something else. Great outdoor patio.

The coffee drinks are delicious. Sandwich was ok. They served it in a paper bag which is unfortunate. I wish they at least put it on a plate, even a paper one would be fine. My sandwich fell apart and it was hard to eat it.But this is definitely a nice place to sit with a little bit of green around you.

Lives up to the hype. Delicious crab cake sandwich with Giant lumps and near zero filler on brioche. Wifes turkey sandwich with a bunch of delicious stuff on it was great too. Awesome outdoor setting as well.

This is one of my favorite places to visit near Elkridge. I come here all the time with my friends to just relax and have a coffee. The garden is beautiful and the river that runs through the town is really nice to look at. On top of that, the location could not be better, and a short walk down Main Street brings you to any of the shops Old Ellicott City has to offer.The cafe has a wide selection of food and coffee and it’s always prepared promptly. I don’t have a dog, but people definitely like to bring them here. Little market café continues to be my favorite café in this area.

Phenomenal Scallop dish with amazing flavor profiles! Great service and cute intimate tables by bar area made it feel like we had the restaurant to ourselves. Will definitely be returning.

This is one of the cutest coffee/sandwich shops Ive ever been to. I had their Main Attraction, which consisted of chunky Maine lobster slightly dressed with aioli, lemon juice, and parsley, served on a brioche buttered lobster roll. It was so yummy!!!

Stopped by and had breakfast here a few days ago and absolutely loved it. The Big Poppi is an amazing and hefty sandwich, kept me full all morning. Perfect blend of egg, spinach, bacon, sausage, and cheese on an everything bagel. Chai latte was also very good as well. Great little cafe and outdoor seating area. Will definitely stop by when Im in EC.

Lovely atmosphere has surrounded this tiny place, in the small town of Ellicott City, MD.Even during this unusual time in the midst of the pandemic, there were local vendors with some local artists who entertained the customers outside of the cafe, and made some pleasant memories. I loved the taste of the beverages and the pastries of the cafe while visiting the lot.🙂

This is one of my favorite places for coffee and a outdoor hang with my friends. They have the outdoor service down to a T! The cozy fire pit is lovely. Fire pit + friends + hot coco = a good time.

LMC is an Ellicott City gem. They have added a lot of outdoor seating. Their coffee drinks are delicious. I had an iced decaf vanilla latte with half the sweetness. In order words, theyre great with customizing. The lobster rolls are divine!

Want some home made breads.. of course you do... well.pick it up here and a bottle of tequila for me.. you can get both! Seriously its a great little find

Little Market Cafe is a hidden gem in Elliott city. I have been there a few times and have never been disappointed with my food. Best breakfast sandwich I have ever had was the 9 mile ( if I remember correctly). Its even more fun to eat there when the weather is nice enough to take 2 of our bunnies with us ....or our corgis.......great now Im hungry again.🙂

One of my favorite places to get something to eat in Ellicott City. They are super friendly and fast. A nice variety of Spindrift sparkling waters, yummy vegan options, good quality coffee. I try to tip them when I have cash on hand. Hardworkers. Love the Frederick Road vegan sandwich.3/14/21My order was wrong, of a white bread vegan Frederick Road and it was suppose to be sourdough. I will double check next time. One guy was asking me to put on a mask. So you are living in fear that you cant just hand it to me. Wow. Sad.

Have come here several times for a Saturday morning date, meetings, or just personal time. Love this place - great coffee & food, quaint area in Old Ellicott City, wonderful outdoor seating areas with a variety of benches, tables, chairs, etc, and a nearby bridge over a stream to add ambiance. Great COVID arrangements now with separate outdoor order & pickup areas & nearby porta-johns with hand-washing stations.

The best atmosphere and amazing food

Got several meals via online order and pickup at the cafe, and they were GREAT! Safe pickup was easy from outside at a window. Everyone was wearing masks. The lobster rolls were excellent- as good as the ones from the famous food truck at the Portland Head Light park in Maine. The crab cakes were true jumbo lump with virtually no filler and very tasty seasoning. The accompanying spinach salad was very fresh and very good, and was enough for two salads. In both cases, there is some final preparation in your oven, which I think is a plus. Read the prep instructions before you leave to make sure you have everything- this type of service is still new to them. I dont think Ill be able to resist ordering again next week!

After much anticipation to try the little market cafe, I was sadly more disappointed than not. We went during the mardi gras weekend that old Ellicott City hosted and got a muffaletta and the crawfish mac and cheese with a log cabin latte and one bottled drink. The total came up to $33, they asked my name but didnt give me a receipt.My latte was called after about 7 - 8 minutes under what I heard has Tanya and it was written as Kania. I almost didnt get up because they didnt state what it was and obviously it wasnt my name. I enjoyed the latte, it was very yummy and if anything I would come back and get another while walking around. Then after 10 more minutes the crawfish mac comes out...no muffaletta in sight. After a couple more minutes we got up and asked when our sandwich would be ready they informed us that it never printed and they were getting right on it. After 5 more minutes or so we get our sandwich. Everyone else was already done eating so he quickly ate half of it. It was ALOT of olives, so it only tasted like olives to me. I only took a bite than decided against anymore. The crawfish mac and cheese was good... About the size of a large side at a regular restaurant. It was packed with crawfish so that made it worth it. It was a tad grainy from the topping but tasted good overall. I hear the sandwiches are really good, so it could have been been just getting the mardi gras menu.Overall, I know Im not going to come back here unless Im compelled and its NOT winter, but maybe Ill try one of their sandwiches that gives them such a good name one day that will change my mind.

Today was my first time eating from this little gem.But it surely wont be my last.I had CC Favorite and now its mine.My wife got the crab cake lumps....Yes I said lumps...not even hardly enough binder to hold those chunks of meat together.She smiled the entire meal...And now an update one year later. Ill never ever go back. The Little hole in the ground should have been in the flood zone...from hair baked into my pizza to waiting 20 minutes in the sun for an order that was made by phone 30 minutes before arriving and paying. After paying and standing for 20 minutes I was given the food with a halfass apology.Do better by your customer!

Great drinks but the online ordering process is frustratingly pointless. I’ve ordered online three times and have waited double the quoted wait time all three.Edit: 5 times. All 5 have doubled the quoted wait.

I often take my friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I go their often. This recommendation is always successful. The the cooking is fantastic and the stuff is welcoming and cooperative. always when we eat in this place we enjoy a pleasant evening. highly recommended.

The staff was good considering my first time ever there as well as downtown ellicott city. The sandwich I ordered was great I saw other menu items from my Google phone app. I will try the pizza next visit. Id like to meet the owner one day when I. Visit there again.
