Very nice staff, good variety of sizes and such unique items. A little pricey but the quality of the items is probably why.

We always have a wonderful visit, no I mean complete “experience” when we go here. It’s not your normal clothing store. Every time we go we thrive on talking with Sophie. She is just unbelievably perfect. Today we also had new hires Alex and Courtney. They were great too! Can’t wait to return!!!!!

My favorite clothing store on Main Street! They always have the cutest clothes and really fun trickets that make great gifts. The staff is incredibly sweet and always very helpful. Also love how theyre dog-friendly (as is the rest of Main Street by the way)!

Unfortunately I had a terrible experience here yesterday. One of the young saleswomen must have suspected I was stealing, following me and staring, and even going so far as to rip open the curtain as I was in the dressing room! This associate even continued to stand a few feet from me after this, as I waited for my sister to finish trying on her items. I felt confused, violated, and uncomfortable about what was happening. The manager on staff apologized and mentioned they had someone steal items the day before. But as a first time shopper here, and a business owner myself, it was incredibly disappointing and upsetting. Today I left a voicemail asking for the manager or owner to call me back so we can discuss what went wrong and maybe consider together how this can be better handled on their end. I wish I could be a patron but, of course, my sister and I both left empty-handed.

This is one of the best stores in Ellicott City. The quaint store has the perfect atmosphere for a small town feel. The workers are friendly and seem to truly care about the customers. So happy to see them come back so strong after the flood.

All the stars for Sophie!!! I just moved to EC and needed one more quirky item for my quirky new apartment. Having an unproductive lack of decorating sense and a vague feeling of lostness, I honestly felt out of place walking into the urban girl store. Sophie greeted me right after I walked in and immediately made me feel welcome, valued, and understood (excited, even! :D) She swiftly pointed me in the right direction, provided multiple options for what I had spent too much of my Sunday searching for, and made the short time I spent at SEJ incredibly enjoyable and memorable. I will be back and am now one proud urban gurrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrl!!!
