There are two different Mr. Tire Stores in Ellicott City. I always make sure I go to this location found in between Checkers, and Mission BBQ. Ive been going here for tires and related services for all of our vehicles. From the storefront manager Serge (pronounced surge), to the technicians, I have been very happy with each transaction. Serge is extremely professional, helpful, honest and consultative, a real pleasure to deal with. He takes the time to calmly explain things and provide options. I highly recommend this Mr. Tire store, so be sure to check the location address before you call or drop by for service.

This place was PHENOMENAL with my tire alignment. It almost felt as if I just drove it off the lot for the first time. I definitely recommend people coming out to this location if you want speedy and reliable service

I would like to commend Nate and Surge add to Ellicott city Mr. tire location. I had put a new tire on my lawnmower rim but I couldn’t get it blown up. I walked in looking for mercy and these guys took my tire in the back got it seated and blew it up for me with a smile. I love it when people go out of their way to take care of you, You don’t see enough of that these days. I’ve also had my vehicles fixed here and these guys are honest good and fast.

BEWARE. Liars! STAY AWAY! These pleasant acting polite guys will lie to you to sell you a tire. Went to them to have a tire plugged that had Fix a Flat in it. They lied and said it “ruined” the tire. Have had tires with Fix a Flat in them repaired at least half a dozen times and no issues afterward whatsoever. These guys had the nerve to say I needed to a new tire! Con artists!

Please safely avoid this location. The employees’ (specifically Nate?, the one I mainly worked with) misunderstandings will cost you hundreds of dollars.We took our car here to have a diagnostic done ($132 for some simple OBDII readings, we had to continually ask for a deeper diagnostic). We had already come in knowing roughly what we needed to repair, but wanted a second opinion with someone actually looking at the car and not just plugging in a device to scan.We received a call stating all of the issues that we need to fix, and one of them was a project we were actually going to do ourselves. We made that clear in the call, and asked them if that’s what they wanted to fix. They said no, it would be more than that, including the project we wanted to do. This costs $600, and since it was more than the project, I approved. The project doing it myself would’ve cost me $100. They also mentioned oil was low, and I made it very clear that I will be putting the oil myself since I recently got an oil change.When I went to pick up my car, I showed them a picture of the part I was going to change myself, asked them if this was all they changed, and they said yes. They said they “misunderstood”what I had asked, and it’s better that they did it because it comes with a 2 year warranty. They charged more than 5 times what I would’ve paid for a 2 year warranty…They also did an oil change without my consent. I made it clear I did not want one, but they still went ahead with it because they “misunderstood”.

My experience at Mr. Tire was great from beginning to end. They worked on my car as scheduled and called promptly with a list of recommendations. They were friendly and easy to work with. Will use them again in the future!

The staff is very professional and welcoming. I felt very comfortable from start to finish. My car was serviced at the time it was supposed to be serviced. Thats a lot different from what I have experienced recently at competitors shops. I will certainly be back soon.

Super thankful to the guys at this Mr Tire outlet. Wifey’s car suddenly started beeping warning signs about tire pressure. I stopped off at a gas station to add air but issue continued. I drove in to the shop, talked to a super helpful/friendly dude. He asked me to pull in to the back even though they were busy. Checked my manufacturer recommended pressure, added air and that was it. Didn’t even charge me!!!You guys rock.Thanks

I hesitated to leave the car for an additional repair, as I had a three thirty appointment. I was assured that the repair would be done by three thirty. This would make me slightly late for that appointment, but I allowed it. The car wasnt ready until four, so the appointment had to be canceled.

They were quick to help us with our tire issues. Nate was very pleasant and enjoyable to deal with. We will not go anywhere else for tires or tire issues.

I had an amazing experience, I am the owner of Anywhere Headlight Restoration and needed my work vehicle seviced the same day. Mr. Tire in Ellicott city was the only service center that was able to do that. What was commendable/impressive was that the young man there was the 1. Greeter. 2.Service writer. 3. The technician that worked on my car and also 4. The person that closed out the ticket and handed me my keys. All done in a timely manner. Up-sale tactics for warrantees, front end alignment, etc are not favorable. They take for granted and add to sales invoice and if you dont catch it before the vehicle goes in youre stuck with the service. I caught 3 up-sales charges that I did not ask for. This is the only real issue I would have for not recommending to anyone. Instead of assuming and adding to the invoice without asking, take the time to explain to the customer.

My vehicle been at Mr. Tire for the last week and a half because my insurance company had to authorize the repairs. During that time there was a lot of back and forth communication with my insurance company. Though it was very time consuming and consisted of a lot of paper work, emails and etc.. Nate The manager at the location was wonderful. He was always pleasant and professional, he never made me feel like the issue was to overwhelming for him to deal with. I would definitely recommend this repair shop to anyone in need of a car repair with good customer service being a top priority.

This is an excellent Mr. Tire Auto Service Center. I talked to a person named Nate and I told him that I had a flat tire in my trunk and I had an extra spare tire that needed to be mounted and replace the flat tire. Nate told me to stop by the Mr. Tire Service Center in an hour and he would help me. When I got the Mr. Tire Service Center, I saw that Nate was busy with a customer. Nate was great. He saw me and he kindly asked his customer if he could stop for a moment to arrange his co-worker Clarince to help me out. Clarince was also an excellent Customer Service Representative. He explained to me in detail the process of how they were going to mount the new tire and replace the spare tire that was used in place of the flat tire. In addition, Clarince walked to my car to further inspected the replacement spare tire. After the inspection, Clarince told me that It was going to take about 30 minutes for the whole process. After 30 minutes, I was at the counter with Clarince signing the papers and out the door. If you are in the market for tires or auto service, I would highly recommend this Mr. Tire Auto Service. Great Customer Service!!!

Yesterday, I they fixed my another SUV, they did not charge me for the service, they thought I waited too long first time, they should do something free for me.I definitely will suggest my friends to do all car services at this shop,.I give 5 stars to this business and staffs.

I gave only 1 star because I went there just for an oil change which was supposed to take less than an hour as I was told but I spent more than an hour because instead of them just changing the oil they ended up checking my breaks, tires wipers, washer fluid and other things they weren’t suppose to do, because that wasn’t the reason I went there and I didn’t ask them to check all those things. They just wasted my time. It was my first time there and is going to be my last

Had an issue on my Mustangs tires and had it at a local shop to have two tires installed. Because they were run flats they were not able to do it without damaging my wheels. It was late in the day and I was desperate and spoke to Nate here at Mr. Tire. Not only was he incredibly friendly but he took me right in and was able to mount and balance those tires no problem. Despite being at his mercy on pricing after the service they were incredibly fair and charged me less than I thought and I was out the door. I never write reviews but had to hook the guys up. Thanks again - run flat guy :)

Found a bubble in one of my tires, called and Nate took care of me. He set up an appointment for that same afternoon, promptly started service when I arrived, and had two new tires in about an hour and out the door. They weren’t pushy when I declined alignment service and raised a few concerns with brakes/rotors that I was previously aware of / were legitimate claims. Ended up declining that too, but would come back here for quick services in the future.
