Fantastic customer service!! Everyone is very professional and my car looks beautiful! (My car was a hit and run victim in the grocery store parking lot). This occurred just days before the COVID stay at home order was put in place by Hogan. My appointment to have it fixed was the first day the order was in place- the rules of the order were about as clear as mud at the time, so I did not know if driving it to the shop to be repaired would be considered a violation of the order. I didn’t want to cancel the repair because I wanted my beautiful baby fixed- but called to reschedule thinking I had to due to the order. Not only was I able to keep my appointment, they came to my home and picked up my vehicle for me- and then brought it back to me a day later, all fixed! They went the extra mile (literally) for me- and this is not the first time they have gone out of their way to help me, either. Last year, my other vehicle, a brand new SUV I had only had for a few weeks, got dinged by a grocery cart! I took it in for an estimate, and after looking at it, they came back outside and started buffing the scrapes out of the door for me- and it looked brand new again. I was so happy, and asked what I owed them for buffing out the scrapes. They said nothing! That’s right! Zero. Would not let me pay. I have recommended this place to family and friends. My Mom has a beautiful Audi S8 Quattro that needed a ding from a rock repaired and they did a beautiful job with her car as well. Our family won’t go anywhere else! An absolute great experience from start to finish. Customer service was impeccable, everything was easy from start to finish. They kept me informed of the process the whole time and they worked seamlessly with my insurance company USAA as well as the rental car company. Thank you, Gerber! My car looks like nothing ever crashed into it!

My windshield was cracked and they made an attempt to repair, it did not pass inspection so the repair cost was taken from a new windshield cost. Next day service at my house. Both employees were good to have - though dont work in the rain.

My poor car has been hit twice over its life, and both times I got it repaired at Gerber Collision. I experienced excellent and responsive service that finished up before the estimated finish date.Having my car get hit sucks, but Gerber and USAA made it okay. The cherry on top is that they returned my car much cleaner than it had been! :) Thanks!

Had my car worked on after a hit and run. Covered by insurance but rates were definitely reasonable. They went the extra mile and were dont earlier than expected. Gail was great and kept me u to date with the progress of my car the whole time.

A little backstory: I had brought my previous vehicle to Gerber (back then Pies), for several repairs in the past. I had dealt mostly with Bruce, who was a king of customer service. He had since retired. Then, I had an accident on my almost brand new vehicle, in summer of 2018. Naturally, Gerber Auto was my body shop of choice. Well, this was the beginning of a nightmare, for a repair that entailed fixing the passenger door on driver side, of my almost brand new vehicle. Once the vehicle had been repaired, and I had received the vehicle back, I had noticed specs of white paint all over my seats. Also, the damaged wheel was not fixed properly. And on goes the list of issues. Thereafter, over the course of a year, I brought the vehicle back to them 7 times or so, for issues with the repair. Then, after they repainted the edge of the door 2 months ago, I noticed rust. I didnt think much of it at the time, and Gerber re-painted over those rust spots. Later I found out that they had not applied anti-corrision layer to the exterior part of the door that was welded on! This was noticed by another body shop (who will be doing the repair properly) that pointed out several other spots of rust on the edge of door, and said Gerber should have never just painted over this, since the rust would keep coming back. So, be wary of using this shop!

I never had service done so this review is not for the Ellicott City office. I called Gerber to replace my windshield. Got transferred to a national call center and went through my insurance. I requested to have my work done at THIS OFFICE. A few days later got a call from a company called Glass America. Luckily I had good service from their Laurel office. Do youself a favor. Look somewhere else.

These guys did an amazing job! Gail, my coordinator, maintained normal contact and never seemed bothered if I called to ask a question (unlike other collision experiences Ive had). The repairs turned out great and their attention to detail in the repairs was superb. Im very picky about my car and have invested heavily in it so small mistakes would have been brought up at the inspection.I would highly recommend this shop for your repairs. Amazing job!

Someone side-swiped my car, removing huge chunks of paint and taking out my side mirror, so my insurance recommended this location.They took my car even though I didnt have an appointment and they had it ready in a week and a half.They did an excellent job removing the dents and restoring the paint job.The after market side mirror doesnt move as smoothly as the original one I had, and the seal on my driver side door doesnt seem to be on right because I can hear faint wind when driving as if my door was slightly open.Also, my brake light happened to go out while in their shop and they let me leave without telling me. Im not blaming them for the brake light but I would have appreciated a heads up.Ill update after I reach out to them.

This place was terrible, I went in to get repairs on my bumper. My bumper paint did not match my car. Then my bumper was not completely put back on my car and their answer was it was like that before they worked on my car. We looked at pictures and it wasnt like that then they proceeded to tell me that my insurance company did not pay for a genuine bumper and to reach out to my insurance company. Now I feel that if you are fixing my car and you know that its not right you should have reached out to my insurance company made sure that the work youve done on my car was correct before giving it to me.

They gave me an accurate estimate and constant status updates for my wifes car, which suffered a warped wheel, flat tire, and alignment issues after striking debris on 95. Theyre friendly and they do good service, too.

My car went back to the shop twice after the work was done. Two months later I find out the work they did on the inside of my car was not quality work. It was rushed, and parts were manipulated to fit instead of getting the correct parts. Note: Car was in the shop for almost 30 days and it still was not correct. Disappointed cause I thought they did great work. I will say this about them... they have tried to fix the issues and have been working with the insurance, other body shop and myself to reconcile and fix the situation. That is highly appreciated and why I gave them two stars instead of 1.

Im extremely impressed with this shop. This shop exceeded my expectations. I had another collision shop tell me they did everything they could to fix my car to the best of their ability. On 3 separate visits and drop offs the other shop failed, only to have gerber collision prove to me that my car could be fixed to look like new was awesome. Simply put i believe gerber collision has a higher standard of quality then the other Collison center I dealt with. A standard that made my car look as if it was brand new. I would recommend this shop to anyone who appreciates a shop who truly keeps the quality and proffessionalism in their business and proves it through the work they do. Thank you Gerber Collision and glass. :)

The good: the work they did on my car was excellent. Another driver had opened their door as I was pulling into a parking space, and severely dented my fender. They replaced my fender (had to insist on OEM parts - they wanted me to sign saying aftermarket parts were ok). They painted and blended and it all looks great, even with the metallic paint on my car. So, in terms of what I hired them to do, 5 stars.The bad: when I got my car back, I was looking around and noticed I was missing quarters. All the quarters in my armrest except the top on in the coin dispenser. Ive heard about mechanics doing this before- leaving the last one so its not obvious, but never thought Id see it. Anyway, I confronted the manager and all he would say is he stands by his employees and this never happens, and possibly someone got in while we had your door handle off so we could paint your door, but its just as bad to me if my car was unlocked/open and not protected from random people going in and taking things out of it while it was in possession of the body shop.

Just recived my BMW 750Li back from Gerber Collision Ellicott Center Drive:. This is the BodyShop Prototype! Outstanding Work. This is the 2nd time I have chosen to come here. I dont live in the local area or even in state, but this didnt stop the impeccable repair and professional service. This year I was hit while visiting in Arlington and chose to come again to this Gerber. Gail is Professional, integral and very attention to detail. She reminds me of a Marine Corps 1stSgt. Gail was very personable and doesnt fluff anything. She advises on what she sees but also advises that behind parts could have damage. Fortunately for me -- I didnt run into that problem. Even watching how carefully she handles your car is impressive. Plus, its important to me to see someone who is neat and clean getting in and out of my clean vehicle. Thanks Gail for keeping me informed during my short repair process. As a former Marine not to much gets past me. And Gerber is Outstanding, My Car looks fabulous. No shiffy work done here, Work is done right the first time,. Chrissy at the front desk is courteous and as she has all the paper work in order required to be filled out. No waste of time here, I have to rave on Vince who repaired my car! USAA this is one of the best shops out here you have!

Absolutely horrible. Our car has been in the shop for well over a month and they keep coming up with excuses. The worst part is they keep promising that we will get it back a certain time, but each time they find something else they want to fix or just flat out ignore the fact that they told us we were getting our car back. This experience has been a complete nightmare and we have literally been beggin them to give us our car back. They recently told us they would have the car ready, only to reveal when we got there that they accidentally delivered the car to jessup instead of Elliott city. Today they promised to deliver our car to our house by 10 AM and even sent us an email saying they dropped it off, only to reveal after many frustrating phone calls that they hadnt and its still not ready. This company is completely incompetent and terrible to customers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!
